Taylor Swift just announced a sponsorship deal with the love of her live Diet Coke. Infowars.com feels that she should be made aware of the dangers of aspartame the main sweetener in diet coke which is linked to many adverse health effects. Reflections ’92 arts night, Willowdale Middle School, May 1992 – Pt. 6
Recently I uploaded videos from a visit to my old middle school’s most recent arts night. Now I’m putting up a video of the arts night from when I was in Grade 7 in 1992. I was in the school choir (I’m the kid with the Dick Tracy shirt at the far right of the choir). This video would have been made on the second evening of the arts night, which I believe was 20 May 1992. The evening had a Canadian theme, it being the year of Canada’s 125th anniversary. Special thanks to teacher Ms. Murray, who copied the video for me in 1998. The selections in this part are as follows: 1. Choir: rest of “Away from the Roll of the Sea” 2. Grade 7/8 band: a) And All That Jazz b) Stand by Me 3. Skit “The Owner, the Customer and the Complaint” (shopkeeper Timothy Eaton is transported to the present and surprised that his store has morphed into the Toronto Eaton’s Centre shopping mall) 4. Stage band: The Flintstones theme song 5. Choir: Land of the Silver Birch 6. Skit: Two Chiefs: A Chance Meeting (modern Indian Chief Ovide Mercredi (ring a bell, anyone?) is interrupted during a conference by a visit from Chief Tecumseh from the 18th century)
