Armenian GOP House Candidate Points to Massive Armenian Genocide in Argument for Gun Rights

During a radio interview with Wayne Allyn Root, Nevada congressional candidate Danny Tarkanian efended civilians having firearms on the basis it could have prevented the Armenian genocide.

Root brought up former Supreme Court Justice John Stevens’ recent op-ed, which argued for the repeal of the Second Amendment. The radio host told listeners he has a Jewish background and one of the first things Adolf Hitler did was disarm his future victims.

“I happen to understand that the first thing Hitler did before he herded the Jews into concentration camps to kill them was he passed, I believe in ’38, a law that said no Jew could own a gun,” Root explained. “In the end, you’re powerless and defenseless if you have no gun.
Root wondered why his Jewish friends, given their ancestry, continued to advocate for increased restrictions on firearms and Tarkanian also used his own background as an example of gun control enabling mass murder.

“I’m Armenian, and the Ottoman Empire ― they took the guns from the Armenians,” he said. “They came in and they killed 1.5 million of the two million that were there because they had no way to defend themselves.”

Root called it a “shared history” between the two cultures and reiterated that totalitarian leaders “always take the guns first.”

Tarkanian is currently running to represent Nevada in the House of Representatives and his campaign website calls the right to defend yourself a “God-given right.”

Donald Rips Into Barack, Claims Obama Is Responsible For Latest Tragedy

Donald Rips Into Barack, Claims Obama Is Responsible For Latest Tragedy

If there’s one person in this world who draws a line in the sand, it’s Donald Trump.

Our President isn’t about to let anyone get away with anything. And that’s why he makes for such a bold and powerful leader.

On the flip side, liberal leaders like Barack Obama don’t really believe in hard-lines stances against anything.

And perhaps as a result of that inability to lead, dozens of innocents perished over the weekend.

If you hadn’t heard, reports have emerged of a chemical weapons attack by Syria against the town of Douma on Sunday.

Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad appears to be at the core of this tragedy and Trump immediately lashed out.

First, the President jumped on Twitter and blamed Russia and Iran for supporting al-Assad:
This is pretty strong, especially considering Trump’s recent promise to try to cooperate with Russia and Putin.

But that’s only part of the explanation for Syria’s misdeeds, according to our President. There’s someone else to blame, too:
That’s right, if Obama had simply taken a hard-nosed stand on such matters, tragedies like the one that just happened over the weekend could’ve been avoided.

See, Obama announced a “red line” on Syria’s chemical weapons in 2012 but like most liberals making rules, he never bothered to enforce it.

The Obama administration had an agreement with Russia, which should’ve resulted in the removal of all of Assad’s chemical weapons. And yet, here we are.

More people are dead, and mainly because previous (and possibly current) leaders did nothing.

Well, at least Trump is in office now, and if he tells America he’s going to clamp down on Syria – or anything else, in fact – he’s going to do it.

And that’s one of the main reasons we voted for him: a leader with a backbone is what this country desperately needed!

Loretta Lynch Throws Comey Under The Bus – ‘Concerns Were Not Raised’

Loretta Lynch Throws Comey Under The Bus – ‘Concerns Were Not Raised’

Loretta Lynch cast aspersions on James Comey’s congressional testimony, in which he suggested the former attorney general had told the former FBI director to refer to the Hillary Clinton email probe as a “matter, not an investigation.”

“He said it made him feel strange,” NBC’s Lester Holt asked Lynch in an interview first previewed Monday. “He noted it. What did you mean when you said matter instead and not a investigation?”

“I heard about that testimony,” Lynch responded. “I didn’t watch it at the time, but it was brought to my attention later and people were raising it with me.”

“My first response was, ‘where, what is the issue here?’ I remember specifically talking with him — as we talked about sensitive things on a number of occasions,” she continued. “We often would have to discuss sensitive matters, sensitive issues, terrorism and the like, law enforcement policy and the like.”
“This was a very sensitive investigation, as everyone knew,” she claimed. “And the issue when he and I sat down at that time, which I think was early in the fall of 2015, was whether or not we were ready as an department to confirm an investigation going on, when we typically do not confirm or deny investigations into anything, with rare exceptions.”

“I can tell you that it was a meeting like any other that we had had, where we talked about the issues,” Lynch added when Holt asked if Comey questioned her “credibility” with regard to the Clinton investigation. “We had a full and open discussion about it.”

“Concerns were not raised.”

SANTA TERESA, N.M, – As part of the President’s Executive Order 13767, and at the direction of the Department of Homeland Secretary, construction for a border wall replacement in Santa Teresa with new bollard style wall will begin on Monday, April 9.

“We need effective barriers to deny the entry of illegal aliens and contraband,” said Chief Patrol Agent Aaron A. Hull, U.S. Border Patrol, El Paso Sector. “Our agents know that a balance of physical infrastructure, technology and personnel is key to securing the border and keeping our communities safe.”

CBP awarded a construction contract January 22 to Barnard Construction of Bozeman, Montana. The area of the border wall replacement will be a 20-mile section of existing vehicle barrier located just west of the Santa Teresa Port of Entry and extending westward. The existing barrier will be replaced with an 18- to 30-foot high bollard-style wall. The contract also includes removal of existing vehicle barrier as well as roadway and drainage improvements.

Construction is slated to run for approximately 390 days. The project cost is approximately $73.3 million.

To begin to meet the need for additional border infrastructure in this area, DHS is replacing legacy vehicle barriers that no longer meet the Border Patrol’s operation needs with new bollard wall.
The ability to see through into Mexico is a concept supported by the bollard style wall included in this project. This style of wall has proved beneficial to the Border Patrol to detect illegal entries and the smuggling of narcotics into the United States.

El Paso Sector continues to experience a high number of apprehensions of illegal immigrants and drug smuggling. In fiscal year 2017, the El Paso Sector apprehended 25,193 illegal aliens, seized 34,189 pounds of marijuana and 140 pounds of cocaine. During that fiscal year, there were 54 assaults against El Paso Sector agents.

Leadership within the El Paso Sector has made great efforts to collaborate with local and state authorities to address any issues that may occur during the construction period.

Concerns regarding the environment have been and are constantly being addressed to cover all bases during this process. For years, the Border Patrol has worked diligently with supporting agencies to ensure its presence minimally disturbs the surrounding environment and habitat.

The operational control of the border is of highest priority for El Paso Sector Border Patrol agents, and with the construction of the replacement wall, agents will be better equipped to complete their mission.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation’s borders at and between the official ports of entry. CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.
