During Barack Obama’s presidency, he created an entire generation of freeloading welfare abusers across the country by making it easy for people to receive them. However, not only did Obama make it easier for everyone in the nation to receive these benefits he also made it possible for illegal immigrants and refugees to obtain them as well. So, when Donald Trump campaigned for president, he promised that he would cut back on these welfare programs and he is not about to go back on promises as millions of Obama’s freeloaders found out this morning which has liberals screaming mad.

The purpose of welfare is help people who are struggling financially to get back on their feet while going through hard times. However, over the last several decades the role of welfare has become more of a lifestyle choice than a stepping stone to something better. Over the last several years, the number of people living on welfare only increased causing financial issues for our country that needed to be resolved quickly. After President Trump was elected, he began to implement several programs that would cut back welfare programs on the Federal level, and of course, the left and lazy welfare recipients have cried foul.

Now, in a new executive order signed by President Trump, he is asking federal agencies to enforce work requirements to those who receive federal aid and to review all of the waivers and exemptions to those work requirements. Programs included in this never before seen move is those who are on Medicaid and could potentially incorporate thousands of people who receive subsidized housing benefits.

The purpose of this drastic move is to help those in poverty lift themselves out of their predicament by being productive members of society, and it is about darn time.

Here is more from CNN Money:

“Trump signed an executive order Monday directing federal agencies to promote employment for those on public assistance.

The president called for enforcing work requirements that are already in the law and reviewing all waivers and exemptions to such mandates. Also, the executive order asked agencies to consider adding work requirements to government aid programs that lack them.

“The federal government should do everything within its authority to empower individuals by providing opportunities for work, including by investing in federal programs that are effective at moving people into the workforce and out of poverty,” the order read.

The agencies have 90 days to submit a list of recommended policy and regulatory changes.

The move is the latest step in the administration’s effort to require low-income Americans to work for their federal benefits. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services earlier this year began allowing states to mandate that certain Medicaid enrollees must work for the first time in the program’s history, while the Department of Housing and Urban Development is looking into the issue for those in subsidized housing.
The Department of Agriculture also wants to strengthen the work requirements in the food stamp program. Currently, adults without minor children can only receive benefits for three months out of every 36-month period unless they are working or participating in training programs 20 hours a week. However, states can waive that requirement for areas where unemployment is at least 10% or there is an insufficient number of jobs, as defined by the Department of Labor.

Several states, particularly those with Republican leaders, have also been adding work mandates. Kentucky, Indiana, and Arkansas have already received approval to require certain Medicaid recipients to participate in community engagement programs, including working, volunteering or job training, while several other states have applications pending before CMS. West Virginia and Wisconsin recently tightened the work requirement provisions in their food stamp programs.

The president is ramping up these efforts after Congress opted to punt on entitlement reform with the midterm elections looming in the fall.

The order outlines nine “Principles of Economic Mobility,” which are in line with longstanding Republican ideals. They include improving employment outcomes and economic independence, promoting marriage as a way of escaping poverty, reserving benefits for those truly in need and empowering the private sector to find solutions to poverty. The order directs agencies to provide more flexibility to the states, which administer many of these safety net programs

REPORT Trump Will Use This ‘Reagan Trick’ to GUT Omnibus Bill

President Trump has a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to the Omnibus Bill which he reluctantly signed, in order to fund the military.

One of the tricks at his disposal he picked up from former President Reagan.
Trump can utilize a process known as rescission.

Reports indicate that Trump’s White House is working closely with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy to put a package together that could cut billions of dollars from the bloated bill.
When Congress recently passed — without having read — a $1.3 trillion omnibus bill that was more than 2,200 pages, fiscal conservatives were outraged by the gluttonous and wasteful spending it contained.

President Donald Trump, who reluctantly signed the bill despite an initial threat to veto, expressed a similar sentiment when he made clear he would never sign another bloated spending bill like that again.

And now it looks like he may be taking steps to undo some of that terrible bill.

Perhaps feeling a bit of buyer’s remorse or simply heat from their base, Trump and congressional Republican leaders recently held talks to find a way to trim some of the fat from the omnibus bill, according to Politico.

The most likely way to do that would be through a process known as rescission, and Trump’s White House is reportedly working closely with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy to put a package together that could cut billions of dollars from the recently passed spending bill, if approved by a simple majority in Congress.

In analysis for The Washington Times, Trump campaign economic adviser Steven Moore and Trump transition tax policy adviser James Carter explained some of the history and process behind the rescission budgetary maneuver, a rarely-used anti-spending tool that last saw favor under President Ronald Reagan.

Up until former President Richard Nixon, presidents had the power to “impound” and refuse to spend federal funds for projects they viewed as wasteful or unnecessary, something Nixon reportedly did with roughly 20 percent of the funds appropriated by Congress each year of his presidency until 1974.
That is when Congress passed the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act, which blocked a president’s sole authority to impound funds and offered up the congressionally-approved rescission tool to stop funding for wasteful programs in its place.

The process works by a president submitting a rescission proposal to the House of Representatives, which must then be approved by simple majorities in both chambers of Congress within 45 days.

If the proposal is ignored or fails to achieve majorities, the spending remains unchanged.

Reagan proposed some 596 rescissions totaling $43 billion during his two terms, though Congress only approved 213 of those rescissions totaling only $16 billion in saved funds.

Unfortunately, only about $6 billion in rescission proposals have been approved since Reagan left office, the last of which occurred in 1999.

It is worth noting that the Democrats’ chief obstructionist to Trump, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, can do little to stop a rescission proposal from receiving a vote as debate on such measures are limited to only 10 hours and can’t be filibustered.

However, given the slim majority held by Republicans in the Senate and the tendency of the more moderate establishment members to break away from their party and join the opposition to Trump, nothing is guaranteed.

That said, while some Republicans may not want to risk the wrath of the liberal media by revisiting and cutting some of the bloated budget deal, such a vote would really make the handful of Democrats running for reelection in red states — who are trying to convince voters they’re actually fiscal conservatives — particularly nervous, as where they come down on the issue would certainly be a hot topic during the campaign season.

Hopefully, Trump and his team of budget and economic advisers, working in conjunction with Congressional Republicans, can find a way to make use of the rescission tool to get rid of at least some of the wasteful spending that was stuffed into the omnibus bill to garner bipartisan support.

If so, and if it is to be a worthwhile effort, they will need to do more than merely tinker around the edges with modest proposals and actually put forward some significant cuts.

It would then be interesting to see how various members of Congress either accede to the cuts or defend the wasteful projects they have agreed to appropriate taxpayer funds.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted today to altering the site’s algorithm to shut down certain speech on the platform.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg appeared before the Energy and Commerce Committee of the House of Representatives in Washington today where he admitted that Facebook does alter its algorithm to shut down certain types of speech. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), questioned Zuckerberg saying; “we’ve done one hearing on the algorithms, I chair a communications and technology subcommittee here, we’re getting ready to do a second one on algorithms. We’re going to do one next week on prioritization so I’d like to ask you, do you subjectively manipulate your algorithms to prioritize or censor speech?”

Mark Zuckerberg replied; “Congresswoman, we don’t think what we are doing is censoring speech, I think there are types of content like terrorism which I think we all agree we don’t want to have on our service, so we build a system that can identify those and can remove that content and we’re very proud of that work.” Blackburn took Zuckerberg to task saying; “let me tell you something right now, Diamond and Silk is not terrorism.”

This was a reference to YouTube commentators Diamond and Silk who recently found their Facebook page limited on the platform. Zuckerberg admitted this was a mistake earlier in the hearing when representative Joe Barton asked; “‘Please ask Mr. Zuckerberg why is Facebook censoring conservative bloggers such as Diamond and Silk. Facebook called them unsafe to the community, that is ludicrous, they hold conservative views, that isn’t unsafe.’ What’s your response to that?”
Zuckerberg replied; “Congressman, in that specific case,” replied Zuckerberg; “our team made an enforcement error. And we have already gotten in touch with them to reverse it.” Diamond and Silk, however, claim they have yet to hear any further from Facebook.

‘We’re not messing around.”

Those are the strong and resilient words from Rep. Devin Nunes who vows to impeach FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein if they don’t hand over un-redacted documents pertaining to the FISA abuses hurled against our America First President.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes warned two key figures in the Russia probe to turn over requested documents or face stern consequences, including impeachment.

Speaking with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Tuesday, Nunes cautioned Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray that congressional investigators are “not messing around” as the men risk being held in contempt of Congress and possibly impeachment for not cooperating.

Thousands of un-redacted documents related to the Russia collusion investigation were requested in the intelligence panel’s original August 2017 subpoena, and now include a request for a two-page “electronic communication” that was behind the launch of the probe.

“We’re still in a situation where it’s trickle down documents. We issued the subpoena in August. We walked through piece by piece, every time we get a little bit more. As you know, we had to get out the major information, which was the information on the warrant against Carter Page, a Trump associate. Since that time we’ve been investigating the State Department and we especially have an interest in this electronic communication,” Nunes said on “The Ingraham Angle.” Tuesday. “We’re at a boiling point where we need this two-page document.”

The committee has given the FBI and the Justice Department until April 11 to turn over all the requested documents.

Liberals Livid As Alabama Punter Asks Trump 1 Question During White House Visit

Liberals Livid As Alabama Punter Asks Trump 1 Question During White House Visit

Liberals are livid after the University of Alabama’s punter asked President Donald Trump one question at the White House. The snowflakes aren’t going to like this.

After the Alabama Crimson Tide finished off a thrilling 26-23 comeback win in overtime over the Georgia Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 8, 2018, they were invited to the White House to celebrate their big victory with President Donald Trump.

According to The Blaze, all but one of Alabama’s team members were present at the White House on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. During their visit, the players were escorted around the White House on a special tour and head coach Nick Saban expressed his gratitude for the once in a lifetime opportunity.
“You know, not many people get invited to the White House, so not many people get invited to see the president and meet the president,” Coach Saban said. “So this is a special day for our team,” he explained. “A team that is being honored here because of their achievements in terms of winning the college football national championship, which makes me very proud.”

During their visit to the White House, President Trump honored the team with a speech. “It is my great honor to welcome the College Football National Champions to the White House. The University of Alabama Crimson Tide, congratulations,” Trump said as Saban held up a Crimson Tide football jersey with Trump’s name on it and the number 17.
In regard to Alabama’s victory, President Trump said, “It was truly a win for the ages. I don’t know if you know, but I was there. I was there. I got to see it.” Then, Trump praised Alabama’s players for upholding a winning tradition. “You carry on a storied tradition of Alabama football excellence. It really is excellence. Coach, you have to explain that. You can sell that secret and make a lot of money. You know that don’t you?” Trump asked.

“In the National Championship game, you stuck to the process even when it was looking pretty tough. I was watching. I said, ‘Coach, not looking too good.’ Down 13 to nothing at halftime to a great Georgia team, these champions fought back as they did all season long,” Trump added.

“They kept fighting and fighting. Now, I’ve watched a lot of those games and sometimes as Coach Saban likes to say, ‘you flat out made them quit, they quit.’ We’re doing that to a lot of people, too, I learned,” Trump continued.

“We’re proud of the way you play We’re proud of the way you represent yourselves, your university, and your state and that is a great, great state. I know, because I won it by 32 points. I actually think more than that, but anyway,” Trump added.
The President’s speech was marked with laughter from the crowd at his congratulatory remarks combined with political comments. After Trump’s speech was over, Alabama punter JK Scott pulled the President aside and asked if he could pray for the President and his staff. This was undoubtedly very unsettling for any liberals watching, but for millions of American patriots who share a common faith, it was exhilarating to watch.

Christina Chambers from WBRC, a local news station in Alabama, lit up Twitter with the memorable moment. “What a cool moment! @AlabamaFTBL JK Scott asked @POTUS if he could pray for him and his staff. Video below shows President Trump and Bama players praying after the Tide’s @WhiteHouse visit!” Chambers wrote.
Not only did Scott pray for the President and his staff, but many members of Alabama’s football team were also seen gathered around Trump as they prayed for him and his administration. What an outstanding example of true American and Christian values.

At a time when the left continually attacks our President and his staff on a daily basis, it is a breath of fresh air to see such outstanding young men gather around President Donald Trump in support. This is a huge reason America is well on her way to being great again.
