In the wake of the shooting at a Waffle House in Tennessee in which several people were shot, several anti-gun wackadoos immediately whipped out their scripts and started gurgling out their usual diatribes.

But Parkland student Emma Gonzalez took it a step further and called for the confiscation of all semi-automatic weapons in America, not realizing that most guns, not just AR-15’s, are considered semi-automatic.
On Sunday, the most recognizable far-left activist from Parkland, Florida called for the confiscation of all semi-automatic weapons from American society in the wake of a shooting in Tennessee.

Reacting to the shooting at a Waffle House in Tennessee in which several people were shot, far-left activist Emma González immediately attacked the NRA and Smith & Wesson Corp.

After several tweets, González called for the confiscation of all semi-automatic firearms, writing: “Removing the assault and semi-automatic weapons from our Civilian society, instituting thorough background checks and mandatory waiting periods (and raising the buying age and banning the production of high-capacity magazines) are the ways to stop shootings in America.”
González then falsely claimed that mass shootings do not happen in other countries, despite the fact that the worst mass shootings in world history have all happened outside the United States.

Baghdad, IRAQ – As many as 36 Islamic State (ISIS) militants were killed on Sunday after US-led coalition Iraqi warplanes targeted their terrorist hotbed located in Syria, a spokesman for the Iraqi Security Media Council was quoted as saying.

Alghdad Press quoted Brig. Gen. Yehia Rasool as saying in a statement that Iraqi Air Forces launched a series of airstrikes on Syrian territories using F-16 jets to eliminate Islamic State terrorists, who were planning to carry out terrorist attacks in Iraq.
According to the statement, the air raids left 36 IS militants dead, including six senior leaders who were gathering at one of their hotbeds inside Syria, Iraqi News reports.

On Thursday, the media office of Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said Iraqi F-16 jets carried out deadly airstrikes against Islamic State locations in Syria from the Iraqi borders side.

Dozens were killed in the attack.

This came after Abadi said on Wednesday that security troops will follow ISIS militants in the whole region, not only in Iraq.

The strikes, according to the statement, were carried out “depending on orders from Haidar al-Abadi, who is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces.”

The statement also added that the strikes “would help expedite the elimination of the ISIS in the region after it was conquered in Iraq.”

The Islamic State group appeared on the international scene in 2014 when it seized large swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria, declaring the establishment of an Islamic “caliphate” from Mosul city.

Later on, the group has become notorious for its brutality, including mass killings, abductions and beheadings, prompting the U.S. to lead an international coalition to destroy it.

Despite the group’s crushing defeat at its main havens across Iraq last December, Islamic State continues to launch sporadic attacks against troops with security reports warning that the militant group still poses a threat against stability in the country.

KEEP BOMBING THE HELL OUT OF THESE ISIS COCKROACHES.

Kirkuk, IRAQ — At least three people were killed and injured in a bomb blast, southwest of Kirkuk province, a security source was quoted saying on Sunday.

Speaking to Baghdad Today website, the source said, “a bomb, went off at al-Humeira crossroads in al-Rashad town, southwest of Kirkuk. Two people were killed, while the third was wounded.”

“Security troops rushed to the accident spot,” the source who preferred anonymity added. “The wounded were taken to nearby hospital for treatment, while the victim was transferred to forensic medicine department.”
And in Nineveh, Iraq, eighteen Islamic State members were killed as Iraqi troops repulsed an attack by the militant group on the Iraqi-Syrian borders, west of Nineveh, military sources said on Friday.

“Iraqi troops foiled a fierce attack by ISIS on the Iraqi-Syrian borders, near Rabei’a town, northwest of Mosul. All the attackers were killed immediately, while their weapons were confiscated,” Lt. Gen. Ali al-Aaraji, of the army the 15th division, told BasNews.

The forces, according to Aaraji, “repelled the attack and were deployed along the borders between Iraq and Syria in al-Yaarabiya region, fearing infiltration by more militants,” Iraqi News reported.

Moreover, “the troops launched operations at the nearby villages in search for ISIS members,” he added.

Meanwhile, an informed security source told AlSumaria News that the strikes “were carried out by the F16 jets that Iraq owns.”

On Wednesday, Abadi said security troops will follow ISIS militants in the whole region, not only in Iraq.

The Iraqi-Syrian borders are under the control of joint troops of military and border guards.

Meanwhile RWT reported that in Baghdad, IRAQ, the Higher Judicial Council has revealed issuing over 800 verdicts from Nineveh Criminal Court including around 200 death sentences and 150 life sentences to convicts over terrorism charges

In a statement on Wednesday, Abdul Satar Bayraqdar, spokesperson for the High Judicial Council, said “The estimates issued by the criminal courts showed that verdicts were issued against 815 convicts, with 212 death sentences and 150 life sentences.”

Earlier in the week Iraqi judiciary sentenced seven foreign women of various nationalities to death and/or life in jail over affiliation with Islamic State militants. The Supreme Judicial Council said in a statement that the Central Criminal Court sentenced three Azerbaijanis and one Kergyz to death, while issuing a life sentence for two Russians and a French national.

Earlier news reports quoted AFP identifying the French nationa as 29-year-old Jamila Botoato.

Earlier this month, six Turkish females were sentenced to death over affiliation to Islamic State.

In March, the Central Criminal Court in Baghdad has sentenced 13 Turkish women to death over the same charge. The same court sentenced number of women to life and death over belonging to Islamic State. Some of them were Azeri, Turkish and Iraqi.

In February, an Iraqi court ordered deporting a French female jihadist to her country after serving a seven-year jail term. 15 Turkish females were sentenced to life, in the same month, over their membership with Islamic State.

Iraq is holding hundreds of foreign wives and children of Islamic State militants who were captured as Iraqi forces gradually seized back territories held by the extremist group since 2014. The government declared victory over ISIS last December, however, observers warn that the group still poses a security threat with sleeper cells.

Authorities say they are coordinating with other countries to extradite those held who are not convicted of terrorism.

Islamic State continues to launch sporadic attacks across Iraq against troops. Security reports indicate that the militant group still poses threat against stability in the country.

Abadi announced, in December, full liberation of Iraqi lands, declaring end of war against ISIS members.

The war against ISIS has so far displaced at least five million people

The failed anti-Trump political movement known as #NeverTrump has announced a 2020 GOP challenger for President Trump.

And as you’d expect, it’s a nobody, with no experience, who is only there to disrupt the system and cause chaos for our America First President.
Conservative author and commentator Brad Thor announced on Twitter Saturday evening that he would challenge President Trump in the 2020 Republican presidential primary.

Thor sent out a series of tweets Saturday announcing his intent to run against Trump if no other conservative would run against him.

If no conservative steps up, I will absolutely challenge Donald Trump in 2020. America deserves better leadership. pic.twitter.com/xwNG8LZs8c

“If no conservative steps up, I will absolutely challenge Donald Trump in 2020, he said. “America deserves better leadership.”

A few minutes later, Thor made it “official,” tweeting, “I’m in.”

In fact, let’s make it official. I’m in. https://t.co/Rd1gh4Atm3

Following the series of tweets, Thor confirmed that he would be launching a bid.

“The pages of history do not care if you were a farmer, a soldier, a doctor, or a butcher,” Thor said. “They care whether or not, when called, if you rose up to serve. Our Republic cries out for leadership, someone who will respect our Constitutional norms and represent the world’s greatest minority – the individual. That is who I am running for.”

Although Thor announced his intent to run against Trump, he has not yet filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

A search of the FEC database Sunday afternoon showed that Thor’s name was not included in the candidates who filed to run for president.

It is also unclear whether he will launch a political action committee or begin fundraising anytime soon.

Thor has served as a host on conservative commentator Glenn Beck’s television and radio programs and is a New York Times bestselling author known for writing thrillers.

Our stunning and graceful First Lady Melania Trump represented herself, her husband and her country perfectly at the funeral of former FLOTUS Barbra Bush.

Trump was thrown into the “political lion’s den” and she was the picture of class and beauty.
First lady Melania Trump proved to be more than a capable emissary in representing President Donald Trump at the funeral for former first lady Barbara Bush.

The services took place Saturday at the “magnificent” St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Trump gracefully fit right in, sitting alongside former presidents and first ladies Barack and Michelle Obama, and Bill and Hillary Clinton at the invitation only event.

Former President Obama can be seen in the photo below looking on as Mrs. Trump prepared to sit.

The Bush family has little regard for President Trump, who watched the services from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

“It was my honor to travel to Houston to give my respects to Barbara Bush and the remarkable life she led as a mother, wife, and fearless First Lady,” Mrs. Trump said in a tweet. “My sincerest thoughts and prayers continue to be with George H.W., and the entire Bush family.”
The first lady was captured sharing a lighthearted moment with Obama in the video below — Michelle Obama appeared to be less than amused.

Trump brought two White House staff members who were close to the Bush family as her guests, according to The Hill.

“She knew they were very close to the Bush family and wanted them to be able to pay their respects,” spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said of former White House head maitre d’ George Hainey and current White House usher Buddy Carter.

The first lady’s Instagram account posted a photo of Mrs. Trump posing with members of law enforcement prior to boarding her return flight.

“Thank you to #Texas law enforcement for ensuring the safety of everyone today.” the caption read.
The photo prompted a response from actor James Woods, who was impressed by the image.

“You are a lady of such class. We are so lucky to have you,” he tweeted.
Barbara Bush received an honorable send off with police officers saluting as her body leaves St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Trump also tweeted a portrait of Barbara Bush, along with the caption: “What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful woman who lived for God, family and country.”
The entire presidential entourage, to include the grieving widower, former President George H.W. Bush, also appeared in a group photo:

The senior Bush, as he is known to do, wore socks emblazoned with images of books “to honor his wife of 73 years and her commitment to family literacy, for which she raised over $110 million over the course of over 30 years,” tweeted spokesman Jim McGrath.

Fox News’ Britt Hume shared a photo on Twitter of the church.

“The view from high in the loft at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston, awaiting the start of the Barbara Bush funeral. Magnificent church,” he tweeted.
