SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Following a probe by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations, a former Puerto Rico Department of Education (DOE) teacher was found guilty Friday of one count of transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. Senior District Court Judge Daniel R. Domínguez presided over the trial.

According to the evidence presented at trial, Yaira Cotto-Flores, 28, of San Lorenzo, transported one of her English students March 1, 2016, to a local motel with the intent to engage in criminal sexual conduct.

According to court records, the former teacher and the 14-year old student met at the beginning of the school year and the defendant gave the victim various gifts including an acne treatment kit, a neckband and a wristwatch.

“These allegations are especially disturbing given the position of trust the defendant has occupied,” said Orlando Baez, acting special agent in charge of HSI San Juan.
“Identifying people who violate their positions of public trust by contributing to the exploitation of children is a top priority for HSI. Anyone who targets children for sexual exploitation should also consider themselves a target by HSI and by our law enforcement partners regardless of who they are. We have an obligation to protect those most vulnerable in our society who cannot protect themselves.”
“The jury found Ms. Cotto-Flores guilty of robbing a child’s innocence,” said United States Attorney for the District of Puerto Rico, Rosa Emilia Rodríguez-Vélez. “We entrust teachers to serve as role models for our children and safeguard their welfare. As this conviction makes clear, when that trust is violated, there will be severe consequences.”
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Elba Gorbea. The defendant faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison. The sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 27 at 10:00am.

This investigation was conducted under HSI’s Operation Predator, an international initiative to protect children from sexual predators. Since the launch of Operation Predator in 2003, HSI has arrested more than 16,000 individuals for crimes against children, including the production and distribution of online child pornography, traveling overseas for sex with minors, and sex trafficking of children. In fiscal year 2016, more than 2,600 child predators were arrested by HSI special agents under this initiative and more than 800 victims identified or rescued.

BREAKING Police Arrest 9 Females Known As ‘Biters’ That Kill… Here’s What We Know

Mosul, IRAQ — Iraqi police said on Sunday they arrested nine Islamic State female members, including foreign nationals, at the group’s formerly proclaimed capital: Mosul, Iraqi News reports.

Maj. Sallam al-Ekeidi from Nineveh police force, told state-owned daily Al Sabaah that the nine women were arrested in a village in Qayyara region, south of Mosul after intelligence information received from locals told they had snuck into three villages.
The women, who used to work for the extremist group’s Hisbah “vigilantism”, were taken to the Nineveh operations command for interrogation over crimes committed against the women of Mosul, according to the officer.

Ekeidi said those included “biters“, some from Russian and a Syrian, who had caused the death of Mosulian women.

A biter was an infamous term given to women from ISIS who were assigned to punish local women violating the group’s extreme religious rules by biting them brutally at various parts of the body.

A senior Islamic State female vigilante has fled the group’s stronghold in western Nineveh with huge sums of money, a local source in the province was quoted saying.

Alsumaria News quoted the source saying that the Islamic State’s leading “biter”, a foreign national, fled Hassan Qoi area, in the town of Tal Afar, to an unknown destination with a large amount of money in her possession.

Um Salma, so she was nicknamed, had been in charge of the female division of the hisba (morality police) service, said the source. She had been behind the fatal biting and strangling of several local women in Mosul, which she did based on sentences issued by the Islamic State’s judges, he added.

She had stolen large sums and fled, and the group launched a wide-scale search for her, according to the source.

Since it proclaimed a so-called “caliphate” in Iraq and Syria in 2014, Islamic State assigned female vigilantism division that would levy punishments on women violating the group’s extremist codes of modesty. The biters, according to reports, would either literally bite the bodies of violating females ferociously or use iron clippers for the purpose.

Okay, that is absolutely insane.

Iraq is holding hundreds of foreign wives and children of Islamic State militants who were captured as Iraqi forces gradually seized back territories held by the extremist group since 2014. The government declared victory over ISIS last December, however, observers warn that the group still poses a security threat with sleeper cells.

Authorities say they are coordinating with other countries to extradite those held who are not convicted of terrorism.

Parkland Deputy Who Abandoned The Students Finally Gets What He Deserves

Deputy Scot Peterson failed to do his duty during the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Because he failed to act, seventeen people were killed. Now, after so many months, he is about to face the music.

America was horrified over the events in Parkland, Florida. Nikolas Cruz, 19, entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and killed seventeen people. Most of them were students. In the aftermath of this tragedy, shocking revelations emerged.

We discovered that many people were worried about Cruz, long before the shooting. He frequently talked about going on a killing spree. Students often said that he was the kind of person that would shoot up the school. Numerous tips were sent to the local police, but they were ignored. Even the FBI received at least two warnings from concerned citizens. They also did nothing.
Perhaps worst of all was what we learned about the actual event. As Cruz roamed the school, searching for victims, the local police stood down. Broward Sheriff Deputy Scot Peterson refused to enter the building to confront the shooter. As an officer of the law — one assigned to protect that school — he had a duty to put the lives of those students first. He failed that duty and many died.

Millions of Americans voiced their outrage. But it looked like Peterson would not face retribution. He resigned from his post, but he would not be charged with any crime. Where is the justice? What about all those families permanently scarred, thanks to Peterson’s neglect?
It looks like he’s not getting off scot-free. Andrew Pollack, one of many parents who lost children, is going after Peterson.

Andrew Pollack, the father of one of the 17 Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting victims, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against former Broward Sheriff Deputy Scot Peterson, gunman Nikolas Cruz and several others.

Peterson, who was the Parkland school’s resource officer at the time of the Feb.14 attack, has come under immense public criticism for failing to enter the building while the shooting was taking place…

“I’m not interested in any money,” said Pollack, whose 18-year-old daughter Meadow was killed. “I just want to expose what a coward [Peterson] was and that he could’ve saved everybody on the third floor. I don’t want him to go anywhere in the country and not have people recognize what a coward he is.”

Andrew Pollack has been one of the most vocal members of the Broward community. Since the attack, he has been seeking justice over the death of his daughter. What has he gotten in return? Only abuse and hate from the mainstream media. His young daughter is gone, taken from this earth far too soon.
Liberals tend to neglect real victims and celebrate criminals. They seek to protect the rights of those who do wrong. But they’re all too happy to violate, offend, and destroy the lives of people in need. Pollack has been seeking justice for his daughter and has been given a cold shoulder by so many. Not anymore.

So much could have been done to prevent Nikolas Cruz from killing those people. Why isn’t the FBI under fire? How can the Broward County Sheriff’s Office not be held accountable? They knew Cruz was dangerous, but they did nothing.

Worse than that was Scot Peterson’s actions. He knew a shooting was going on in the school, but he was waiting around outside. Why? Why didn’t this officer intervene? He was armed and trained. The students and teachers inside were not. They were sitting ducks, unarmed and defenseless. Meanwhile, a police officer stood outside as they were killed.

According to Sheriff Scott Israel, Peterson, a 33-year law enforcement veteran, “never went in[to]” the building that was under attack, and instead took up a position outside which allowed him to view the western entrance of the building. Surveillance footage released after the shooting shows Peterson standing in that area for 20 minutes…

Pollack’s son, Hunter, tweeted earlier Monday that Meadow’s family “wants the world to know this is the guy that hid behind a concrete wall while kids and teachers were killed.” [Source: Fox News]
If you ask any decent American, they’ll say a lawsuit isn’t enough. This officer should have done more to protect those students, even if his life was at risk. That’s the high call of any officer who has sworn to protect their community. This officer failed to do so and many people died. Perhaps Pollack’s lawsuit will help bring a little bit of justice to this crime.

As Caravan Of Migrants Reaches U.S. Border, Team Trump Delivers Nasty Surprise

As the caravan of migrants from Central America reached the U.S.-Mexico border, President Donald Trump’s team delivered a nasty surprise that they weren’t expecting. Liberals are going to hate this move.

According to Daily Caller, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed criminal charges against 11 individuals believed to be part of the caravan of Central American migrants seeking asylum in the United States on Monday, April 30, 2018.

The DOJ issued a press release which said that Border Patrol agents were able to apprehend the individuals a few miles west of the designated border crossing in San Ysidro, California. “The United States will not stand by as our immigration laws are ignored and our nation’s safety is jeopardized,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement.
The individuals taken into custody were charged with knowingly and willingly entering the U.S. at a time and place other than one designated by immigration officers. The arrests occurred one day after the group of 150 – 200 immigrants from Central America arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border.

A spokesperson for the Customs and Border Patrol said in a statement that the agency began processing the requests for asylum from some members of the caravan on Monday, April 30, 2018. Those who could not be processed immediately were advised to remain in Mexico until space becomes available.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen had previously warned that the federal government would arrest and prosecute illegal immigrants for entering the country unlawfully. The caravan, which had originally numbered over 1,000 members, broke down into smaller groups over the past couple of weeks.

President Donald Trump referenced the caravan’s progress to push for stricter immigration laws and to talk about why we need a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. In one message that he sent out on Twitter, Trump blasted our current federal policies.
“The migrant ‘caravan’ that is openly defying our border shows how weak & ineffective U.S. immigration laws are. Yet Democrats like Jon Tester continue to support the open borders agenda – Tester even voted to protect Sanctuary Cities. We need lawmakers who will put America First,” Trump wrote.

President Donald Trump openly rebuked Montana Democratic Senator Jon Tester in the tweet for his support for the open borders agenda. Notably, Tester came under fire from the President after he spread malicious rumors about Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson who was nominated to become the next Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

As reports of the caravan’s arrival at the border hit the news, Vice President Mike Pence paid a visit to Border Patrol agents in Calexico, California to reaffirm his and Trump’s commitment to reforming immigration and building a wall.
“It’s not just about a wall, the President and I are determined to work with the Congress to fully fund the wall, to build the entire wall but we have to fix our immigration system. We have to close the dangerous loopholes, the kind of provisions in ‘catch and release’ and chain migration and our entire system that essentially entice people or entice people that would take advantage of vulnerable families,” Pence said.

“To encourage them to make the long and often dangerous trip up to our border. We’re a country that believes in legal immigration but it’s important as I said earlier today to recognize the people in the caravan,” Pence continued.
“People that come often through great peril to try and come into this country either by applying for access at our border or by coming into the country illegally are often victims themselves, exploited by human traffickers, people that will smuggle individuals into this country for a fee. Open borders advocates as well have taken advantage of these families,” Pence added, according to Yahoo News.
Many of the families who are brought in caravans up to the U.S.-Mexico border are victims of human traffickers and smugglers, but more importantly, American citizens are the victims who end up paying the price for mass illegal immigration. It’s time for Congress to get behind our President and his administration and fully fund the wall.
