President Donald Trump reacted to a serious fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France on Monday, Breitbart reported,.
“So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “It’s one of the great treasures of the world, the greatest artists in the world … might be greater than any museum in the world, and it’s burning very badly, looks like it’s burning to the ground,” he said, noting that he watched the footage of the fire on Air Force One.
Trump acknowledged the devastating news put a “damper” on the event on tax reform.
“That’s beyond countries, that’s beyond anything, that’s a part of our growing up, it’s a part of our culture, it’s a part of our lives, it’s a truly great cathedral,” Trump said.
