The nation’s top general said it’s “too early” to talk about withdrawing U.S. troops from Afghanistan. General Joseph Dunford, who currently serves as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, made that at a rcent press conference alongside the defense secretary. This comes as the Taliban released a statement,saying they are close to reaching a deal with the U.S. to bring America’s longest running war to an end.
