EXPLOSION IN NYC Several NYPD Officers Injured After Queens Home Blast

A domestic dispute in New York City escalated into a massive explosion that injured multiple NYPD officers responding to the scene in Queens. Authorities say officers smelled gas before attempting to enter the home, when a powerful blast suddenly erupted, sending them flying.

Eight officers were taken to hospitals with minor injuries and are expected to recover. The suspect is believed to have died in the collapse, while several residents were displaced as the fire consumed the home.
