Famous Person Just Visited The White House Today and Surprised Barron Trump with a SPECIAL Gift
The Clemson Tigers celebrated their 2017 college football national championship at the White House on Monday and were honored by President Donald Trump.
Clemson earned a come-from-behind 35-31 win over Alabama to bring home the second title in school history and the first since 1981. The final game took place Jan. 9, and the squad was applauded by the man who took office 11 days later.
Trump praised the program, saying they turned Clemson into a “winning machine.”
Trump singled out various star players for their accomplishments during the season, most notably Deshaun Watson, Ben Boulware and Carlos Watkins.
Clemson president Jim Clements and head football coach Dabo Swinney also got a chance to address the crowd as part of the celebration.
During the White House visit by NCAA Football national champion Clemson, coach Dabo Swinney gave President Donald Trump and Barron a Clemson jersey bearing the name “Trump” on the back with the numeral “1.”
