Gary Hunt is the defendant in a case that will have implications for citizen journalists – Liberty or Laws, Justice or Despotism? Similar to the situation involving the Pentagon Papers of the 1970’s, 2017 edition, Gary Hunt was ordered to remove information from his website. With case law on his side, he chose to keep the information freely available – and is facing contempt of court charges.
