  3. no she did not possess 5 octaves , her lowest note is somewhere around A2 in I love you porgy and her highest is a G6 she hit live in i wanna dance with somebody so she has around 4 octaves wich is alot but her voice is not all about range, the power, the diction, the phrasing, the vocal genius, it continues , she truly was one of the best ion her prime
