Griminals Workshop – David Lee

David Lee started dancing in 2006 during his sophomore year at Alhambra High School. He began his training with Teen Groov at Jayvee Dance Studios under the direction of Nick Golla, Anna Rivera, and CJ Edwards. Shortly after joining Alhambra High School’s All Male Dance Team, David was invited to Boogiezone Breed’s Offspring under the direction of Elm Pizzaro, Ricky Cole, and Audrey Benson. David continued to train with Main Ingredient (CJ Edwards), Soul Fresh (Ricky Cole), and eventually formed his own group in 2008 with a few of his friends, titled Griminals. In the fall of 2010, David was able to further his passion for choreography, winning first place in the choreographer’s division at “Maxt Out”. Currently dancing for UC Irvine’s CADC, David hopes to inspire others with the passion and the love he has for dance.
