Cupids Inspiration – Yesterday has gone 1968
Cupids Inspiration – Yesterday has gone 1968 (# 4 in UK 1968) ‘It’s amazing what you can do with one hit: Smash hit Yesterday Has Gone provided Leamington four-piece Cupid’s Inspiration with the platform for a music career spanning three decades. The pop/rock song climbed to number four in the charts back in 1968 and remains their most well known tune. But strangely, the hit stormed the top ten before any of the Leamington crew had joined the band. Lead singer Martin Cure replaced original front man Terry Rice-Milton two years later, recruited Leamington musicians and returned home from London in 1974. Cure, who now lives in Sydenham and hires out PA systems, said: “We managed to carve a living out of Yesterday Has Gone without recording it or ever achieving the same success again. It’s amazing what you can do with one hit and it still gets played on the radio.” Cupid’s Inspiration, whose line-up is completed by guitarist Jim Batty, drummer Paul Brook and bassist Keith Hancock, continued to tour until 2002, supporting the likes of The Searchers on 1960s package shows. Lyrics: Hey, baby, yesterday has just departed And tomorrow hasn’t started All that really matters is right now And you should live a lifetime in each minute Take the sweetness from within it Yesterday has gone without a sound Come on baby let the good times roll Time is wasting and we’ll soon be old Just give in to what you feel inside Give your life a chance to open wide Hey, baby, yesterday has just …

Earth Changes Space Revelations 02-02-2010 Mitch Battros Richard C.Hoagland Coast to Coast AM part 1
Earth Changes & Space Revelations 02-02-2010 Mitch Battros Richard C.Hoagland Coast to Coast AM part 1 During the first half of the show, researcher Mitch Battros discussed the current state of Earth & space changes. New scientific discoveries are “verifying what our ancestors told us millennia ago,” he noted. For instance, the Hubble just found a whole new area of massive stars in our galactic core, amid reports that shifts are going on in the Milky Way, he said, connecting this data to Mayan prophecy relating to the galactic center. Battros talked about Solar Cycle 24, and the dangers of X-class flares which could bring down power grids, as well as cause cracks in the magnetic field that allow damaging charged particles to filter through. He also offered analysis of recent quake swarms at Yellowstone, and suggested a possible connection between earthquake activity and volcanoes. We’re in a period of escalating earth changes, yet these changes are helping people return to a sense of community, he commented. ————————————— In the latter half of the show, C2C Science Advisor Richard C. Hoagland reacted to Obama’s budget plan that would scrap nasa’s return to the moon, and connected this decision to the Norway Spiral. The ending of the space program as we know it is a “stunning development,” and was possibly brought about by the “secret space program” who presented the Norway Spiral as a kind of “blackmail” message to Russia and the United States …
