Journalism in America is continuing to bury itself in a very deep grave, and it does not look like they will be coming out of it anytime soon. Here is what happens in MSNBC latest blunder.

News Anchor Mika Brzezinski who is well known to be an biased and hateful journalist towards President Trump said this, “Well, I think the dangerous edges here are that he’s trying to undermine the media, trying to make up his own facts, and it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he could control exactly what people think and that is our job.”

Last time I checked, controlling on what people think is not part of the job description of a journalist. In fact, this is so wrong on many levels because mainstream media is one of the causes of this gigantic divide of the United States. Mika Brzezinski should and must be held accountable for what she has said because words do matter, especially being a journalist.

Don’t get me wrong, I fully support the United States Constitution, including the freedom of the Press, but shouldn’t there be a limit on that? The press should not be manipulating the public to support their agenda whatever that may be, and a journalist shouldn’t have any agenda except for reporting facts and news. Since the election and the inauguration, most of the mainstream media and especially MSNBC has been reporting nothing but hate, lies and fake news against President Trump and his administration.

While a panel of news anchors was discussing President Trump’s attack of the mainstream media, urging the American public to remain skeptical of the press, Brzezinski proclaimed that if the economy goes south, Americans may begin to trust Trump over them.

Mika Brzezinski: “Well, I think the dangerous edges here are that he’s trying to undermine the media, trying to make up his own facts, and it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging…”
Still think that MSM is “real news”? According to MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, it’s their job to control “exactly what people think,” too. Yes, that’s right—one of the most popular anchors at a major mainstream news conglomerate literally just said it’s the media’s job to control exactly what people think.

And yet, somehow, people keep saying that Trump’s supporters are putting out fake news. They attack Breitbart, they attack Silence is Consent, they attack Info Wars, and they attack our movement.

Can people not see the hypocrisy of the MSM? They literally aren’t even trying to hide it anymore—Mika Brzezinski literally says that it’s “our job,” to “control exactly what people think.”

During a lively discussion centered on fears that President Trump is “trying to undermine the media,” MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski let slip the awesome unspoken truth that the media’s “job” is to “actually control exactly what people think.

SCARBOROUGH: “Exactly. That is exactly what I hear. What Yamiche said is what I hear from all the Trump supporters that I talk to who were Trump voters and are still Trump supporters. They go, ‘Yeah you guys are going crazy. He’s doing — what are you so surprised about? He is doing exactly what he said he is going to do.’”

BRZEZINSKI: “Well, I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media and trying to make up his own facts. And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job.”

As Grabien points out, the comment failed to raise any eyebrows from her co-panelists. Instead, her co-host, Joe Scarborough, said that Trump’s media antagonism puts him on par with Mussolini and Lenin…

As long as this kind of reporting continues journalism in America will lose credibility. I hope and pray that the “Powers that be” whomever they are will read this and agree that Mika Brzezinski should either apologize to the public or stand down. During times like these, it is vital that facts and truth are informing the public, not lies and hate. It is really sad because journalism at one time was a true honest profession, made up of people that cared about the public, now they are agenda driven and they wonder why President Trump calls them fake news.

Trump just announced his budget proposal—and it looks like The Donald has some amazing tricks up his sleeve.

As promised the plan will reduce government spending significantly. The ultimate goal is to lower the national debt and reduce the tax burden on American citizens.

Already critics are debating the plan. Democrats are strongly opposed to anything that reduces government influence. Yet even some republicans are critical; remember these are insider politicians who have thrived thanks to big spending plans.

But what is Trump’s plan? Here are a few key elements of the proposal, and the two major groups it will impact significantly.

From Zero Hedge:

The budget will slash $1.7 trillion in spending on entitlement programs, according to Bloomberg.

Trump’s budget will include a massive nearly $200 billion cut to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the modern version of food stamps, over the next 10 years – what amounts to a 25% reduction, according to The Washington Post.

The food stamp cuts are part of a broader $274 billion welfare-reform effort, according to a report by The Associated Press.

The budget calls for about $800 billion in cuts to Medicaid for fiscal year 2018, WaPo reported.

The budget also calls for $2.6 billion in border security spending, $1.6 billion of which will be earmarked for Trump’s proposed wall along the U.S.’s southern border.
The budget is also expected to propose major domestic discretionary spending cuts – an earlier version of the budget called for $54 billion in such cuts next year alone.

Our nation’s in a critical situation. After eight years of liberal policies, our spending is out of control. Freeloaders on food stamps and medical welfare are going to have to tighten the belt and get it together in this working man’s economy.

Trump’s strict yet sensible plan will rein all that spending in and fix many holes in our current system.

While some might criticize the slashing of entitlement programs, that is a good thing. As jobs return to America, fewer citizens will need to depend on the government’s teat.

Slashing these programs will create more incentive for Americans to go out there and work for their bread.

Early reports claim that the plan will hurt long-standing programs, but Trump has vowed not to cut Medicare and Social Security retirement.

The Supreme Court announced Monday that it will review lower court rulings blocking enforcement of President Donald Trump’s executive order on refugee and migrant entry, and stayed injunctions barring the order’s enforcement.

The announcement is a major victory for the president, whose signature immigration policy has been stymied repeatedly by the federal courts.

The justices consolidated two travel ban cases from the 4th and 9th Circuits, and scheduled oral arguments for the first session of the Court’s next term, which begins in October. They also partially vacated several lower court injunctions barring enforcement of the order’s travel ban provision, which prohibits the entry of foreign nationals from six countries with high instances of terrorism.
“We grant the government’s applications to stay the injunctions, to the extent the injunctions prevent enforcement of 2(c) with respect to foreign nationals who lack any bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.”

Two classes of foreign national from the six countries named in the order may still enter the United States; aliens with relatives in America, or individuals with a meaningful connection to corporate entities and educational institutions in the United States will not be affected by the order.

“To prevent the government from pursuing that objective by enforcing 2(c) against foreign nationals unconnected to the United States would appreciably injure its interests, without alleviating obvious hardship to anyone else,” the Court wrote.

The Court also will allow the order’s ban on refugee entry to take effect, with the same exceptions it provided for the travel ban.

As such, most of the president’s order will take effect within the next few days.
