UNRAVELING Second Federal Judge Deals Mueller a DEVASTATING Blow

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is having a really bad week.
Not only has Mueller been raked over the coals by a federal judge overseeing the Manafort case, but now, a Trump-appointed federal judge has denied Mueller’s request to buy more time for his flimsy case against 13 Russian nationals.
A federal judge has rejected special counsel Robert Mueller’s request to delay the first court hearing in a criminal case charging three Russian companies and 13 Russian citizens with using social media and other means to foment strife among Americans in advance of the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
In a brief order Saturday evening, U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich offered no explanation for her decision to deny a request prosecutors made Friday to put off the scheduled Wednesday arraignment for Concord Management and Consulting, one of the three firms charged in the case.
The 13 people charged in the high-profile indictment in February are considered unlikely to ever appear in a U.S. court. The three businesses accused of facilitating the alleged Russian troll farm operation — the Internet Research Agency, Concord Management, and Concord Catering — were also expected to simply ignore the American criminal proceedings.
Last month, however, a pair of Washington-area lawyers suddenly surfaced in the case, notifying the court that they represent Concord Management. POLITICO reported at the time that the move appeared to be a bid to force Mueller’s team to turn over relevant evidence to the Russian firm and perhaps even to bait prosecutors into an embarrassing dismissal in order to avoid disclosing sensitive information.
On Friday, Mueller’s prosecutors disclosed that Concord’s attorneys, Eric Dubelier and Kate Seikaly, had made a slew of discovery requests demanding nonpublic details about the case and the investigation. Prosecutors also asked a judge to postpone the formal arraignment of Concord Management set for next week.
The prosecution team sought the delay on the grounds that it’s unclear whether Concord Management formally accepted the court summons related to the case. Mueller’s prosecutors also revealed that they tried to deliver the summonses for Concord and IRA through the Russian government, without success.
“The [U.S.] government has attempted service of the summonses by delivering copies of them to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Russia, to be delivered to the defendants,” prosecutors wrote. “That office, however, declined to accept the summonses. The government has submitted service requests to the Russian government pursuant to a mutual legal assistance treaty. To the government’s knowledge, no further steps have been taken within Russia to effectuate service.”
Mueller’s team sent a copy of the formal summons to Dubelier and Seikaly and asked them to accept it on behalf of Concord Management, but Dubelier wrote back on Monday saying that the government’s attempt to serve the summons was defective under court rules. He did not elaborate.
The three companies named in the indictment are all reported to be controlled by a Russian businessman known as Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “chef,” Yevgeny Prigozhin. He’s also one of the 13 individuals criminally charged in the case.
In their request on Friday to put off the arraignment, prosecutors included the extensive demands for information that the lawyers for Concord Management have set forth since they stepped forward last month.
“Until the Court has an opportunity to determine if Concord was properly served, it would be inadvisable to conduct an initial appearance and arraignment at which important rights will be communicated and a plea entertained,” attorneys Jeannie Rhee, Rush Atkinson and Ryan Dickey wrote. “That is especially true in the context of this case, which involves a foreign corporate defendant, controlled by another, individual foreign defendant, that has already demanded production of sensitive intelligence gathering, national security, and foreign affairs information.”
Nunes Just Called Out John Kerry For Violating This MAJOR U.S. Law

John Kerry is a busy little bee lately.
He’s buzzing all over Iran, working behind the scenes against President Trump to keep his disastrous “nuclear deal” afloat.
Rep. Devin Nunes, who sent out a tweet that many thought was tongue-in-cheek, may have just thrown a stumbling block in Kerry’s path, because joking or not, what Nunes said about Kerry is ringing true to a lot of people.
A report Friday, detailing how former Secretary of State John Kerry has spoken with foreign leaders about salvaging the Iran nuclear deal, has stirred talk about a violation of the Logan Act.
Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, tweeted in response to the Boston Globe report: “OMG! Logan Act violations!! Send in the G Men…”

Meanwhile, Tom Fitton, who heads the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, said “Kerry making quiet play to save Iran deal with foreign leaders: report. I’m waiting for the Left to scream treason and for Sally Yates to invoke the Logan Act and demand a criminal investigation.”
He was referring to former acting Attorney General Sally Yates, who was concerned that former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn had violated the Logan Act during the presidential transition period after he discussed policy issues with a Russian envoy.
The Logan Act is a more than 200-year-old law under which no one has ever been prosecuted, that prohibits private citizens from acting on behalf of the U.S. in disputes with foreign governments.
President Trump found himself beset by Logan Act talk after the Republican Convention during 2016 campaign, when Trump sarcastically invited Russia to produce the 30,000-plus emails that Hillary Clinton deleted rather than turn over to investigators.
The Iran deal, struck in 2015, was struck during the Obama administration and put Iran’s nuclear program on ice in exchange for relief from crippling sanctions.
Trump, who has until May 12 to decide whether to continue on with the agreement, seek changes, or abandon it, has indicated he intends to pull out of the Iran deal, provided it is not altered, despite the protestations of European allies.
De Blasio Makes Opioid Crisis Even Worse With This INSANE Taxpayer-Funded Program

In one of the worst ideas ever, New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio is using tax dollars to fund “safe drug houses” to combat the opioid crisis.
HUH?
How will that help?
That’s like setting up “safe bars” for alcoholics, and calling it a “solution” to alcoholism.
On Thursday, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a new plan to open safe drug shooting centers – supervised drug injection facilities that he says will help curb the opioid crisis sweeping the Big Apple.
According to the mayor’s office the sites will be “safe” places for drug addicts to use illegal narcotics. But drug counselors will be on hand to offer users advice on how to get clean of their drug habits, Fox News reported.
Alongside the drug rehab counselors, the centers will also be staffed with medical professionals who will supervise users and will be on hand in case of an overdose.
“After a rigorous review of similar efforts across the world, and after careful consideration of public health and safety expert views, we believe overdose prevention centers will save lives and get more New Yorkers into the treatment they need to beat this deadly addiction,” de Blasio’s office said in a statement.
The program will consist of four sites for a one-year trial period and will be set up at four previously established needle-exchange outlets. The centers will be set up in Brooklyn, Midtown Manhattan, Washington Heights, and the Bronx.
“It’s a very complex question … there are very substantial law enforcement and legal issues, quality of life issues, there are all sorts of concerns. But in the final analysis what’s clear to me is this will save lives,” de Blasio’s office added.
The plan will also consist of police officers placed outside the centers to make sure people who are dangerously high won’t walk out of the facilities and upset the “quality of life” in the area or become a danger to themselves or others.
District attorneys Cy Vance and Eric Gonzalez joined city hall to endorse the program.
One drawback of the plan may be federal drug laws, which will be broken by those using the centers. The federal government has not issued a response to de Blasio’s plan, but according to federal law, such “safe places” would be illegal.
Drew Hudson, a Justice Department spokesman in Washington, did note that a federal official has already warned authorities in the state of Vermont against a similar plan, according to The New York Times.
“It is a crime, not only to use illicit narcotics but to manage and maintain sites on which such drugs are used and distributed,” the Vermont federal prosecutor’s office said last year. The December 2017 statement added that “exposure to criminal charges would arise” for drug users, as well as workers in the injection sites, and that properties where the centers are “would also be subject to federal forfeiture.”

These days it does not take a lot to trigger anti-Trump celebs.
All it took this time to bring them down was President Trump’s NRA speech, which caused an epic meltdown among Hollywood’s most hypocritical and clueless celebrities.
Hollywood stars took to social media on Friday and took swipes at President Donald Trump during his fiery speech to the National Rifle Association Conference.
Actor Rob Delaney, star of Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster superhero flick Deadpool 2, called President Trump a “silly cunt.”
This is a funny video if you’ve ever been in, near, or heard of London & also useful if you don’t hate Trump enough already. What a silly cunt. https://t.co/JZKGxxjHt7

Anti-NRA activist and actress Alyssa Milano sent hundreds of tweets of people killed by guns and issued a call to action urging protesters to gather during Saturday’s events.

During his speech, President Trump fiercely defended the republic-old right of citizens to keep and bear arms and explained to the crowd how that right is bestowed to man from an almighty God.
“Your second amendment rights … will never, ever be under siege as long as I am president. … We believe that our liberty is a gift from our Creator, that no government can ever take it away,” President Trump told the packed audience.
““Like those early Texans, Americans will never surrender, ever, ever. We will never surrender. We will never give up our freedom. Americans were born free. We will live free and we will die free,” he said.
Below is a roundup of how Hollywood reacted to President Trump’s NRA speech.
#DanaLoesch since you blocked me I thought I’d try this way. So… re: no banning of guns while non govt officials speak at the @nra event? NOPE. Seems your people are HAPPY to ride the coattails of the govt official’s protocol. Why is that? – @Everytown https://t.co/g0GfiHpDCV

I wanna watch a giant miscolored glistening toad burp up a ball of dead flies and swamp muck but I can’t find the footage so I’ll just watch Trump’s NRA speech instead. Same difference.

“While it’s secured by the Secret Service for the president & vice president, their rules apply.” – Jennifer Baker, NRA spokeswoman
With all those good guys with guns slinkin’ around, Krusty & Mother’s Boy should be safe & comfy, amirite?
