Melania Shakes Washington With Political Announcement, Defines Her Legacy

In every administration, the First Lady has a huge opportunity to positively impact the country. In the past, we had First Ladies that did great work. Nancy Reagan raised awareness of drug addiction. Barbara Bush helped bring literacy to millions of children.

Recently, however, that hasn’t been the case. Michelle Obama used her position to force an agenda on school children. Masking it as health, she punished public school students with limited food choices and obligatory “recreation.” It made her very unpopular among children.

Now that that nightmare is over, we have a new First Lady in the White House. Melania Trump has received as much attention as her husband. Word has come out that she is prepared to launch her initiatives that will define her time at First Lady.

Melania’s calling it “Be Best.” From USA Today:

“Be Best is an awareness campaign dedicated to the most valuable and fragile among us: our children,” she said, clad in a white skirt and a caramel-colored leather jacket.

“There is one goal: to educate children about the many issues they are facing today,” she said. “If we truly listen to what our kids have to say, whether it’s their concerns or ideas, adults can provide them the support and tools they need to grow up and be happy productive adults.”

Her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham tells NPR there are “many issues” facing children today, and that the first lady’s initiatives will try to help them to handle those challenges. Grisham says the first lady will continue to focus on many of the subjects she has addressed in the past…

Social media and its effect on children will be one part of Melania Trump’s agenda, Grisham says. Children and opioid addiction will also be a priority.

Far too often, children are neglected. So much attention is paid to those in power that we forget them. Even though they will grow up to inherit the world we create.

Like other First Ladies before her, Melania wants to make a positive impact on children. Education is languishing in our country—thanks to corrupt teacher’s unions. Children face greater challenges to a healthy upbringing—thanks to the toxic nature of social media.

The threat of drug addiction has never been greater. Thanks to corporate greed and neglect from past leaders, the opioid crisis has run out of control. While many might focus on how adults are impacted by this problem, children are often the victims as well. Children who undergo medical procedures are exposed to the same powerful drugs that have ensnared many adults.

There are many problems facing the children of our nation. Compounding those issues is the fact children are not equipped to deal with these problems on their own. While adults are old enough to confront issues and make positive choices, children are far too young to do that. They need support from adults. Often that is not the case.

With the First Lady casting light on these challenges, many people will join the case. Trump has an incredible platform to bring positive help and change to the children of the United States. As well as children around the world.

In a stellar performance at the White House, our First Lady announced her new official initiatives Monday. Melania addressed the crowd where she emphasized the well-being of our children.

And just like our First Lady can speak five different languages, she decided to focus on THREE agenda items, instead of the expected one initiative from the past.Melania is a true intellectual talent and achieves past our expectations; a true role model for ALL American’s!

The First Lady rolled out her encouragement to the children of America with two simple words to encourage and nurture one’s “self-esteem” and “mutual respect.” Her motto is: “BE BEST.” The Hill reports, “First ladies typically choose a cause or issue to focus on during their time in office. Recent examples include Michelle Obama‘s “Let’s Move” campaign to encourage exercise and healthy eating, and Laura Bush’s childhood literacy initiative.” (VIDEO BELOW.)

Melania is doing what no other First Lady has dared to do before at the White House. She has selected the following three initiatives:

1. Well-being Of Our Children

2. Cyber Bullying

3. Opioid Crisis

At the White House today, Melania revealed her three initiatives and states “Let us teach our children the difference between right and wrong.” With those powerful words, they are keystone to assist in the well-being of our children, stop bullying, and assisting with the opined crisis. Words that taken to heart can literally change the future of a child. (VIDEO BELOW.)

In her address, Melania states, “Children deserve every opportunity to enjoy their innocence. Every child should know that it is safe to make mistakes.” She then calls on the adults of America to do their part and says, “And there are supportive adults and friends nearby to encourage them if they fail. We also need to be mindful that they should learn to trust in themselves and their own emotions.”

As adults, she says, “I believe our responsibility lies in the critical times before a child reaches adulthood. Let us teach children all aspects of their well-being which includes social and emotional and physical health.”

And with that she was able to segue into her other two agenda items. It is an absolutely brilliant speech by an outstanding First Lady of the United States.

DALLAS – Lt. Colonel Oliver North, USMC (Ret.) will become President of the National Rifle Association of America within a few weeks, a process the NRA Board of Directors initiated this morning.

“This is the most exciting news for our members since Charlton Heston became President of our Association,” said NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre. “Oliver North is a legendary warrior for American freedom, a gifted communicator and skilled leader. In these times, I can think of no one better suited to serve as our President.”

North said he was eager to take on this new role as soon as his business affairs were put in order. North is retiring from Fox News, effective immediately. “I am honored to have been selected by the NRA Board to soon serve as this great organization’s President,” North said. “I appreciate the board initiating a process that affords me a few weeks to set my affairs in order, and I am eager to hit the ground running as the new NRA President.”

The NRA Board acted quickly to begin the process for North to become President, after former NRA President Pete Brownell announced this morning that, in order to devote his full time and energy to his family business, he had decided not to seek election to a second term. In his letter to the Board, Brownell wholeheartedly endorsed North for President.
“Discussing this with Wayne LaPierre,” Brownell said in the letter, “he suggested we reach out to a warrior amongst our board members, Lt. Colonel Oliver North, to succeed me. Wayne and I feel that in these extraordinary times, a leader with his history as a communicator and resolute defender of the Second Amendment is precisely what the NRA needs. After consulting with NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris Cox, First Vice President Childress and Second Vice President Meadows, I can report there is extraordinary support for Lt. Colonel North.”

“Pete has served the NRA with great courage and distinction,” LaPierre said. “I am grateful that he joined me in enthusiastically recommending Oliver North to the Board of Directors.”

After the announcement, NRA First Vice President Richard Childress informed the board that he had multiple commitments in the next several weeks and was unable to be immediately available to serve as interim President. The Board then selected Second Vice President Carolyn Meadows to serve as its interim President. Meadows will step aside in a few weeks, when Lt. Colonel North is prepared to take on his new role as NRA President.

LaPierre congratulated the NRA Board for its action. “The board acted quickly and with great vision,” LaPierre said. “Oliver North is, hands down, the absolute best choice to lead our NRA Board, to fully engage with our members, and to unflinchingly stand and fight for the great freedoms he has defended his entire life.”

“Oliver North is a true hero and warrior for freedom,” LaPierre said, “and NRA members are proud to stand with him.”

If Trump Dumps Nuclear Deal Tomorrow, Iran Threatens ‘Historic’ Response

President Trump wasn’t mincing words when he said he was going to rip up the Iran Nuclear Deal.

The terrible Obama-era deal gave Iran access to nuclear technology, and every expert said they would use it to quickly obtain nuclear weapons.

We may never understand why Obama, and his SoS John Kerry, agreed to this ridiculous deal. But the fact remains, we had to live with it for three years.

During that time, Iran used billions (received from Obama) to expand their nuclear capabilities. Are weapons on the way? We don’t even know, because Iran has been less than forthcoming with inspectors.

Now President Trump is very close to ending the deal; much like he promised time and again, Iran is looking at a non-nuclear future.
May 12 is the imminent deadline for the deal. Trump has not signaled he’s backing down, and we can safely say most people in America are happy about this. Right?

But Iran’s leaders aren’t happy at all and over the weekend, their biggest ruler issued a dire warning to the United States.

“Iran’s president is warning President Donald Trump that pulling America out of the nuclear deal with world powers would be a ‘historic regret.’

President Hassan Rouhani made the comments Sunday in the city of Sabzevar while on a tour of Iran’s Razavi Khorasan province.
Rouhani said: ‘If (the U.S.) opts to pull out of the nuclear deal, it will soon realize that this decision will become a historic regret for them.’

Rouhani also assured Iranians that ‘no change will occur in our lives next week’ regardless of Trump’s decision.

Trump faces a self-imposed May 12 deadline over the 2015 nuclear deal, which he long has criticized.”

These are the leaders who continue to promise to destroy Israel and all her allies; a country that oppresses its people, denying them basic rights like freedom of speech.

Why should we be worrying about what their corrupt leaders will do? Well, because Iran is no friend to the U.S., that’s why.
However, President Rouhani is actually playing right into Trump’s hands:

When you threaten a country with “historic regret,” that doesn’t bode well for you. Iran has everything to lose, by attacking the United States—even with words and apparently, Rouhani just doesn’t realize his mistake.

I think he should be more concerned with his people’s continued resentment over the government. Trying to appease a people who can overthrow him should be his biggest priority.

Otherwise, he – and his country – might be the ones suffering a “historic regret.”
