Arizona senator and longtime Trump opponent John McCain has no remorse for passing along the infamous Trump dossier to the FBI, according to excerpts released from his upcoming book, “The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations.”

The 81-year-old senator admitted in January last year that he gave the FBI the dossier, which was filled with unverified allegations against President Donald Trump and raised the possibility that the president may be vulnerable to Russian blackmail.

McCain received hard copies of the dossier from Fusion GPS, a political opposition research firm, and then gave a copy to the FBI, Fox News reported.

Later in January, the entire dossier was published by BuzzFeed.
“Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,” McCain said then.

“Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the director of the FBI. That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue,” he said.

Now, over one year later, McCain said he “would do it again,” according to excerpts from his book published by the Guardian.

McCain wrote that he did “what duty demanded I do” and “anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell.”

The Republican senator said the nature of the allegations meant he had to take them seriously.

“I had no idea which if any were true,” he wrote. “I could not independently verify any of it, and so I did what any American who cares about our nation’s security should have done.”
The president has consistently denied the veracity of the dossier’s contents, calling it the “fake news dossier.”

An exclusive report from Fox News last year stated that former British spy and the man behind the dossier, Christopher Steele, used McCain as his American contact to get the document to the FBI.

“The man (Sir Andrew Wood) who says he acted as a ‘go-between’ last year to inform Sen. John McCain about the controversial ‘dossier’ containing salacious allegations about then-candidate Donald Trump is speaking out, revealing how the ex-British spy who researched the document helped coordinate its release to the FBI, the media and Capitol Hill,” Fox News reported.

“Wood says he was instructed — by former British spy Christopher Steele — to reach out to the senior Republican, whom Wood called ‘a good man,’ about the unverified document,” the report continued.

McCain wrote that after receiving the document, he immediately passed it on to then-FBI Director James Comey.

“I said I didn’t know what to make of it, and I trusted the FBI would examine it carefully and investigate its claims,” he wrote. “With that, I thanked the director and left. The entire meeting had probably not lasted longer than ten minutes.”

“The Restless Wave” is slated to be published May 22.

Paula Jones, the former Arkansas state employee who Bill Clinton allegedly harassed, is sick and tired of the double standards and she has no problem whatsoever in making her feelings known. If you can all recall back in 2016 when the infamous Access Hollywood tape was released she asked, “So Donald Trump had to apologize about the woman comments, ” she wrote. “I don’t recall that Bill or Hillary has apologized to me and Juanita Broaddrick or Kathleen Willey yet Bill was getting his wee wee sucked under the Oval Office desk and still won a second term, UNBELIEVABLE! No liberal ever questioned his ability to run our country then, why NOW with Trump..???? Two faced hypercritical liberals!”

In the tape then private citizen Donald Trump is heard saying the word “P****” when referring to female genitalia amongst a few other things which men usually say in a locker room type setting to impress their fellow guy friends.

Paula Jones sued Bill Clinton and he reportedly paid a settlement of $850,000 to make it go away fast. But lucky for the rest of us in that settlement, there was no gag order. So she can go about telling the world her story about former president Bill Clinton and the accusations of how he allegedly s******y harassed her.

Here is more on the Paula Jones saga via The Guardian: “Paula Jones is awaiting the arrival of an $850,000 cheque from President Clinton, bringing an official end to the four-year saga spurred by her allegations of sexual harassment.Clinton mailed the settlement cheque to Mrs. Jones on Tuesday, even as he braced for the heaviest fallout yet from her harassment suit – an impeachment trial in the Senate.

To finance the settlement, the president drew about $375,000 from his and Hillary Rodham Clinton’s personal funds and got the rest of the money, about $475,000, from an insurance policy, a White House official told The Associated Press.

“This ends it. The check is being Fed-Exed” to Bill McMillan, one of Mrs. Jones’ lawyers, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The official said the personal funds were drawn from the Clintons’ blind trust, which was valued in their financial disclosure statement at between $1 million and about $5 million. None of the money was drawn from Clinton’s legal defense fund, which raises money from private citizens to defray his legal bills, the official said.

How much of that money Mrs. Jones will see is still at issue. As the settlement was reached in November, Mrs. Jones faced an outstanding claim by Joseph Cammarata and Gilbert Davis, the two lawyers who quit her case last year and filed an $800,000 lien against any settlement in order to collect legal fees.

“I don’t think it’s been decided yet” how much Mrs. Jones will receive, said her friend and adviser, Susan Carpenter McMillan Tuesday night. “We did hear they are sending out the check. We hope to receive it soon.”

Mrs. Jones’ lawsuit brought to light the president’s affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky and set in motion a criminal investigation that resulted in a historic House vote last month to impeach Clinton.

The president files his trial brief today, and House prosecutors on Thursday will begin presenting to the Senate their case that the president obstructed justice in the Jones lawsuit and lied about it before a federal grand jury.

Clinton reached a settlement with Mrs. Jones on November 13 after four years of litigation.

Under that settlement, Clinton didn’t admit any wrongdoing or apologize and simply agreed to make a cash settlement to Mrs. Jones, a former Arkansas state worker.

Mrs. Jones alleged that Clinton, when he was governor of Arkansas, made a crude advance in a room at a Little Rock hotel in 1991. Clinton has steadfastly denied her accusation.

Clinton testified in that lawsuit on January 17, 1998, and during questioning about his relationships with other women, denied he had “sexual relations” with Ms. Lewinsky. Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr got permission to investigate whether Clinton was trying to obstruct the lawsuit.

Clinton was forced to acknowledge a relationship with Ms. Lewinsky in testimony before a federal grand jury last August. Starr’s investigation led to a referral to the House of Representatives accusing Clinton of several criminal acts.
U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright dismissed the lawsuit last April 1, ruling that Mrs. Jones’ allegations, even if true, wouldn’t qualify as a case of sexual harassment. An appeal of that dismissal was pending before a federal appeals court when the settlement was reached.”

Is Jones correct? What would you do if you were her? Share your thoughts below and ask your friends what they think.

Early Thursday morning, President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and Second Lady Karen Pence welcomed home three American hostages who had spent at least a year in captivity in North Korea. When one of the hostages finally stepped foot in America after the horrifying ordeal, he uttered four words which were pure gold.

According to The Daily Caller, three Americans returned to the United States early Thursday morning after at least a year in captivity. North Korea released Kim Dong-Chul, Kim Hak-Song, and Kim Sang-Duk into the custody of U.S. officials on Wednesday, and they arrived at Joint Base Andrews a little before 3 a.m. on Thursday. President Trump boarded the plane to greet the released detainees and then emerged with them at his side.

Three Americans held captive for more than a year in North Korea arrived at Joint Base Andrews outside Washington well before dawn Thursday to a hero’s welcome featuring President Trump, Vice President Pence and first lady Melania Trump.

Shortly before 3 a.m., in pitch black skies, a U.S. government plane made its approach to the runway with Kim Dong-chul, Tony Kim and Kim Hak-song, having been preceded by a jet carrying Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. A large American flag suspended by two fire engine cranes was arranged on the tarmac, which was lit by banks of spotlights.

The plane carrying the three Americans pulled up in front of the giant flag. The president and first lady boarded the plane, while Pence, his wife, Karen, and Pompeo waited on the tarmac. Then Trump emerged followed by the three men, two of whom raised their arms in triumph and relief as they exited the plane.

The men, dressed in sports coats and slacks, with button-down shirts, walked down the staircase slowly but without assistance. And after the three shook hands with the other U.S. officials, Trump led the group toward the assembled media to make remarks. [Source: The Washington Post]

President Donald Trump spoke briefly to reporters on the tarmac, calling it a “great honor” to welcome the hostages home. “We want to thank Kim Jong-un, who was really excellent,” he said. “The fact we were able to get them out so soon was a tribute to a lot of things including a certain process that is taking place right now. This is a special night for these three really great people,” Trump added, “and congratulations on being in this country.”

When the president opened questions to reporters, Kim Dong-Chul was the first of the hostages to be addressed. “How does it feel to be home?” a reporter shouted over jet engines. Trump then turned to Kim Dong-Chul and re-asked the question. Dong-Chul spoke through an interpreter and said four simple words that spoke volumes: “It’s like a dream.”
Indeed, the U.S. is a dream compared to nations like North Korea, where citizens are not allowed even the most basic freedoms, and where, if they break the rules, they may be subject to living the rest of their lives in hard labor camps. In North Korea, liberties such as the freedom of speech are strictly prohibited; speak ill of the regime and you could find yourself in a torture cell along with the rest of your family.
Kim Dong-Chul, Kim Hak-Song, and Tony Kim were released after negotiations between the Trump administration and dictator Kim Jong-un. It has since been announced that the two leaders will meet in Singapore on June 12th.

“We are very, very happy,” said Kim Dong-Chul. This was a majorly triumphant moment for the three men and for the Trump administration, and it demonstrates the president’s political prowess, something the media and the left have notoriously refused to give him credit for.

A California judge declined to drop felony charges against a middle school teacher-turned-Antifa leader and two other Antifa members despite lawyers claiming the charges were part of a “witch hunt” against the educator, Fox News reports.

Yvette Felarca, 47, the leader and spokesperson for the anti-fascist group By Any Means Necessary and a middle school teacher in Berkeley, was accused of inciting and participating in a riot in 2016 between white nationalist groups and counter-protesters.

The skirmish broke out at the state Capitol in June 2016 when more than 300 counter-protesters confronted about 30 members of the Traditionalist Worker Party, which has been called a white nationalist group.
The assault charge was filed after a video captured her hitting Nigel Walker, a member of the Traditionalist Worker Party, and calling a man a Nazi before repeatedly punching him in the stomach while shouting “get the f— off our streets,” the Daily Californian reported.

Charges against Felarca include a felony charge of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury and two misdemeanor charges of rioting and inciting a riot.
The prosecutor argued that there was no basis to dismiss these charges, saying that the fact that others had not been charged with crimes did not exempt Felarca from prosecution.

Felarca, whose name in public records appears as Yvonne Capistrano Felarca, was taken into custody in July 2017 on the charges stemming from the violent brawl. Felarca was also injured in the melee after being stabbed and requiring stitches.
