Trump is Gearing Up to Fulfill a HUGE Campaign Promise on Planned Parenthood

Trump is about to make good on ANOTHER campaign promise!

According to reports, President Trump is considering implementing a Reagan-era policy that would enable him to cut federal funding to Planned Parenthood.The White House could soon make good on another one of President Donald Trump’s campaign promises: his vow to defund Planned Parenthood.

Then-candidate Trump promised during a 2016 interview with CBN News’ David Brody that, if elected president, he would cut funding to Planned Parenthood “because as long as they do the abortion, I am not for funding” the organization.Early in his administration, the Republican president reinstated the Reagan-era Mexico City policy — sometimes referred to as the “global gag rule” — that barred U.S. foreign aid dollars from going to any organization that performed or promoted abortion.

What’s next?
The Trump administration is now reportedly considering reinstating a regulation similar to the Mexico City policy, often referred to by Democrats as a “domestic gag rule.”

The so-called “domestic gag rule,” much like its “global” sister, would block family planning clinics from receiving federal dollars — Title X funding — if they perform or promote abortion. As it stands right now, $286 million of Title X funding goes to roughly 4,000 clinics and serves about 4 million people, Axios reported.

At this point, it’s unclear exactly what the policy would look like under this White House, but as one might expect, Republicans and Democrats are split down the middle on the issue.According to The Hill, a group of Republicans in the House of Representatives sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in April, urging the federal agency to implement a “domestic gag rule.” The letter argued that the Title X Family Planning Program “is in dire need of review and updated regulations that ensure program integrity with respect to elective abortion.”

A group of more than 85 pro-life organizations — such as the Family Research Council and the Susan B. Anthony List — sent a similar letterto HHS in early May, writing:

For far too long, the Title X Family Planning Program has been integrated with abortion centers. It is time to act swiftly to disentangle abortion centers from the Title X network.

Democrats, however, feel entirely different about the issue. On Monday, 45 senators sent their own letter to HHS, warning that “a ‘domestic gag rule’ would have a devastating impact on the overall Title X network and the millions of individuals who rely on it for care.”“Unintended pregnancy rates in the U.S. — including those among teenagers — have been declining,” the letter continued. “We cannot threaten to reverse this progress by crippling Title X.”

More than 100 Democratic representatives in the House also penned a letter to HHS.

What’s the history of the “domestic gag rule?”
The domestic policy was issued by former President Ronald Reagan in 1988, though it was immediately challenged in the courts by opponents who argued the regulation was unconstitutional. Ultimately, though, the case went to the U.S. Supreme Court, which decided in 1991 the directive could be implemented.

In 1992, the Reagan-era policy took effect but was blocked by a legal challenge shortly thereafter. Then when former President Bill Clinton took office in 1993, he suspended the regulation altogether.

When will Trump make a decision?
It’s unclear exactly when the White House might announce a decision on the “domestic gag rule,” but an administration official told Modern Healthcare in April that a new executive order on Title X funding would be coming sometime in May.

Axios reported White House adviser Kellyanne Conway met with Trump in late April to discuss the regulation, urging the president to strip Planned Parenthood of its Title X funding. And so far, it appears Trump is receptive to the matter.

One conservative leader involved in the fight to cut federal funding to the nation’s largest abortion provider — Planned Parenthood doctors terminate more than 300,000 pregnancies each year — said it would be “political suicide” if Trump didn’t take action on the topic.

“I just don’t understand why they would betray a core campaign promise during a midterm election year where there are a lot of key House and Senate races where this is a winning issue in light of the polling,” the source noted.

Active shooter incidents are defined as any incident involving one or more individuals who are actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill those within a populated area — gang or drug-related shootings notwithstanding.

There were 50 active shooter incidents in 2016 and 2017 combined, leaving many to question if America is, in fact, safer when armed.

However, a recent investigation by the FBI in April showed that, in numerous incidents involving active shooters, there were people who stopped them by use of a weapon.

“Armed and unarmed citizens engaged the shooter in 10 incidents. They safely and successfully ended the shootings in eight of those incidents,” read the report. “Their selfless actions likely saved many lives.

“The enhanced threat posed by active shooters and the swiftness with which active shooter incidents unfold support the importance of preparation by law enforcement officers and citizens alike.”

Ten active shooters had been confronted by citizens, and eight of them ended successfully, according to The Daily Caller. Four of those eight shooters were stopped by a lawfully armed citizen.

“In one incident, a citizen possessing a valid firearms permit exchanged gunfire with the shooter, causing the shooter to flee to another scene and continue shooting,” the report read.
Yet, in the wake of so many gun shootings and violence, the call for disarming American citizens remains.

According to Timothy Hsiao for The Federalist, it is not a matter of if guns increase violence, but if they are a good means of self-defense.

“What matters is not the risk (or lack thereof) that guns pose to society, but simply whether guns are a reasonable means of self-defense,” wrote Hsiao, adding that to defend one’s life is a basic dignity that cannot be taken away in the name of “social utility.”

“Rights function as moral ‘trump cards’ that override appeals to utility,” he said. “Like our right to life, our right to defend ourselves is a basic dignity that can’t be defeated just because it might produce a net benefit.”

In nearly all national survey estimates, the result saw that defensive gun uses by victims were nearly as common as offensive uses by criminals.

Though millions of Americans are legally permitted to carry firearms every day, most of them cite self-defense as the first and foremost reason to do so.

“The overwhelming majority of the time, those guns are never drawn in anger,” wrote Paul Hsieh for Forbes. “But innocent civilians can and do sometimes use their guns in self-defense.”

Any conversation, Hsieh added, that centers around firearm policy needs to acknowledge those that are saved by the legal use of guns and self-defense, such as those in the active shooter incidents.

“The value of firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens should be measured in terms of lives saved or crimes prevented,” he said, “Not criminals killed.”

An anti-Trump pundit who frequently appears on the fake news media recently tried to bash President Donald Trump over his comments about illegal immigrants. This “conservative,” however, embarrassed herself.

It’s almost hard to believe there are still conservatives who oppose President Donald Trump. But like their buddies in the Democratic Party, these traitors are insider politicians who only want to protect their corrupt agenda. When Donald Trump entered the primary race, numerous notable Republicans were strongly against him.

Once he won the nomination, though, most of the party got behind him. They knew Trump had the ability to turn this country around. It helped that legions of Americans flocked to his banner. But despite the growing tide of support, there were still conservatives adamantly against him.

We know why. They are a part of the D.C. swamp. These “conservatives” are in the pocket of rich lobbyists who don’t want America to be great again. They like controlling the government, exploiting our workers, and sending jobs overseas — not to mention welcoming millions of illegal immigrants into the U.S. for cheap labor.One of those anti-Trumpers is Jennifer Rubin. Because of her deranged, outspoken criticism of the President, she is welcomed on the left-wing news. Big surprise. She continues her ridiculous campaign against the President on Twitter. Rubin looks for every opportunity to bash the President, but recently, she really stepped in it.

The Leftist media adores Jennifer Rubin, a so-called ‘Conservative’ who never fails to feed their deliberately misleading narrative about President Trump. We get it, she doesn’t like Trump but c’mon already, if her hatred of him is such that she would totally betray Conservative ideals it’s seriously gone too far.

As if on cue, the media has been screeching about Trump supposedly calling ‘some illegal immigrants’ animals … when it was painfully obvious he was talking about the animals of MS-13. You know, the ones who murder people and then put their heads on stakes?

They ARE animals, sorry not sorry.

Only a deliberately dishonest person would claim Trump was talking about anyone else. Throughout his campaign and presidency, Trump has highlighted MS-13 as a major threat to our country. During his administration, ICE and DHS have rounded up hundreds of people in this gang. It’s clear they have infiltrated the United States and are undermining our national security and laws.For some reason, liberals can’t seem to understand this. They’d rather you know nothing about these monsters. Even a “conservative” like Rubin ignores this reality in order to bash the President.

Also, notice how she insults the millions of “evangelical sycophants” that support the President. Really, Rubin? You call yourself a conservative but insult the largest group of conservatives in America? I’m not buying it.

Neither are many others.No, she doesn’t. Much like the rest of the liberal media.

This isn’t the first time someone in the liberal media obviously distorted President Donald Trump’s actions or comments. In fact, that’s pretty much all they do these days. Instead of covering his presidency honestly, they take his words out of context, edit video, or deliberately misinterpret his actions. And these are supposed to be the pillars of American journalism.

How pathetic. Perhaps people like Rubin should go back to school. Or, maybe, just maybe, stop lying.

Stormy Daniels’ Attorney Scrambles To Save Himself After Receiving Worst News Of His Career

Media hound Michael Avenatti’s world is starting to fall apart around him. The attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is scrambling to keep his life together as he takes one hit after another. But his latest legal trouble is going to be tougher to dodge.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that Avenatti is being sued by his former law partner Jason Frank, TMZ reported. In the lawsuit, Frank claimed that Avenatti, who has made a sport out of appearing on television in recent months, violated the terms of a settlement he reached with him in December.

The complaint said that Avenatti’s law firm was supposed to pay Frank $4.85 million, with a $2 million installment that was due and payable by May 14. But if you have been paying attention to the Avenatti saga with his other lawsuits and his taxes, you are aware that paying his bills is not high on Avenatti’s to do list.

Frank’s attorney Eric M. George told TMZ that Avenatti’s law firm “entered into a crystal clear written settlement agreement to resolve a prior lawsuit brought by Jason Frank, his former law partner.”
“The settlement agreement was approved by a federal court and was a condition of his law firm exiting bankruptcy,” George said. “Under this settlement, Mr. Avenatti’s law firm was required to pay Mr. Frank $4.85 million, all of which was personally guaranteed by Mr. Avenatti.”

Jason Frank said that Avenatti would not hand over his company’s tax returns, which is information that Frank said he needed in order to know how much money he was owed. Frank said he was owed 25 percent of the company’s profits and a cut of the client fees.

Avenatti has called the claims bogus and has hilariously claimed that Frank is using him to get famous. And if anyone knows about using other people to get himself famous, it is Michael Avenatti.

“Jason Frank is trying to get attention for himself. His allegations are baseless and fraudulent,” Avenatti told TMZ. He also told Talking Points Memo that Frank is “trying to capitalize on the situation.”
“The suit is completely bogus. Who cares?” he said. And speaking of bogus suits, Avenatti is continuing his attack of the free press.

After threatening to sue The Daily Caller for publishing an unflattering story about him, a story that exposed him as an alleged tax cheat and fraudster who has been the subject of numerous lawsuits, Stormy Daniels’ attorney has now threatened to sue another news outlet.

Rachel Stockman, who serves as the editor-and-chief of Law&Crime, said, in an op-ed on Wednesday, that Avenatti threatened to sue her publication over a story titled “One Thing is Clear From Michael Cohen’s Hearing… No One Likes Michael Avenatti.”

“After the publication of our April 26 article that Avenatti deemed ‘unfair’ and ‘complete bullshit,’ Avenatti threatened to sue our reporter, Colin Kalmbacher, personally and then our publication — and then whoever ‘edited’ the article as well. Oh, he wasn’t done,” Stockman wrote.
“In a phone call the day after the article was published, Avenatti also told me if we didn’t make the changes he requested, he would also verbally bash our reporter on The View and make him look like a legal idiot and ‘buffoon.’ (he was in a car on the way to The View when we talked). Law&Crime has confirmed that Avenatti also threatened to ‘cut off’ certain networks and print publications for coverage that was unfavorable to him personally,” she said.

Avenatti continued to make threats of legal action, both to the reporter and Stockman. The editor agreed to make some changes, but the story was still published and the basic gist remained in-tact. That did not work for Avenatti who told the editor in a text, “Next Time, pls take my complaints more seriously. Have a nice weekend.”

He then took to Twitter to continue his complaining, after he appeared on ABC’s “The View.” “Will one of the networks please have me on with @colinkalmbacher so I can show the nation that a) he has no idea what he is talking about; b) he has basically ZERO real-world legal experience; and c) he fabricates ‘facts’ relating to this case to fit his agenda? #legalbuffoonery,” he wrote.The truth is that Avenatti, as an attorney, had to be aware that he had no legal case. He was using intimidation tactics, and it did not work.

It has to be tough for Avenatti when a media source does not kiss his backside as CNN and MSNBC have made a habit of doing. But threatening to sue news organizations for reporting facts, that sounds a lot like someone who knows his past is about to come back to haunt him, and he is doing everything he can to stop that from happening.

It Has Officially Been Confirmed About Sarah Huckabee Sanders – Congrats!

It was a stunning turn of events that called for immediate fact checking after information came out about Sarah Huckabee Sanders. People didn’t know if it was true or not, so the fact-checkers did their work and officially confirmed something huge about Sanders. It’s information that was hiding in plain sight and some of her critics might be disgusted when they find out about this information. Her supporters, however, might say they’ve known this all along. Needless to say, the information is now officially confirmed by fact checkers and Sarah Huckabee Sanders can now add another accomplishment to her resume.

Not only is the accomplishment honorable, but it certainly must provide a positive ego boost and encouragement if Sanders had any doubt about the job she was doing. Sanders is officially listed as one of the top ten most admired women in the United States. She came in at rank #9 and joins the ranks of Melania Trump who was also listed in the same category. In fact, Melania only ranked 10 on the list, which was a shock to many of her wonderful supporters who believe she’s holding up very nicely amid the drama thrown at her on a daily basis.

This is a remarkable achievement for both ladies who supporters believe are doing a wonderful job serving the country. It all started when a website posted their results and someone posted a meme picture that suggested Sanders was in the top ten. Critics jumped on it right away, some people called it “fake news,” and then the fact checkers from Snopes got involved and looked up the information. Snopes stated that the claim was true.

The woman Americans admire most, according to the survey, is Michelle Obama. Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was ranked fourth.

By some distance, the man most admired by American survey respondents is former president Barack Obama. His successor, Donald Trump, was ranked second, ahead of Pope Francis, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Clint Eastwood and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders — all of whom appeared in the top ten.”

Judging by the results, it seems like more Democrats were polled than Republicans. Polls like this should be done equally among political parties to help eliminate any potential for bias in either direction.
