A western central Texas community jumped in to help an area veterans group raise funds to restore a war memorial that mysteriously sustained thousands of dollars of damage in the past week, Breitbart reports.

The Brownwood Police Department is investigating what caused four granite tablets at a veterans memorial to break apart over the weekend.

At the moment, the destruction is being estimated at upwards of $40,000, said Harold Stieber, president of the Central Texas Veterans’ Memorial, KTXS 12 reports.
“The memory of these men that were on this plaque are not to be forgotten. It’s our mission to see to it they’re not, and so we will rebuild and soon.”
The toppled tablets specifically honored Brown County’s 259 veterans who fought in World War I, World War II, the Korean and Vietnam wars, as well as those who served post-September 11, 2001. They also paid tribute to a WWII infantry division stationed at Camp Bowie. The names of these local heroes were engraved into the four substantial markers. The complete memorial honors all U.S. military veterans.

Brownwood hardware store is auctioning off pieces of veterans’ memorial on Saturday
Weston Jacobs, local man, said that he felt compelled to help when he saw a Brownwood woman in tears on Monday after she saw that the name of her son, who was killed in Iraq in 2006, was still intact on the damaged memorial.

“Without batting an eye, she walked to his monument and ran her fingers across his name on that monument that’s still standing,” Jacobs said. “And seeing the way it impacted her gave me chill bumps, understanding what these monuments mean to some of the folks around here.”
Jacobs is auctioning off the pieces of the veterans’ memorial on Saturday at Weakley-Watson Ace Hardware from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with all of the funds that are raised during the auction going directly toward rebuilding the veterans’ memorial.

“Those who gave absolutely everything they could give, who fought for us, and those who died serving their country. We just want to do something small to give back.”

Additionally, Steve Kelly created a GoFundMe page to help raise money for replacement tablets. Kelly said the veterans group hopes to raise $50,000. As of press time, they have received $12,760 towards that goal.

DNC Chair Just Accused Hillary Of Stealing Money To Fund Her Campaign – They Found It All

As more time passes since the 2016 Presidential election, the more shenanigans are revealed on the part of the Democratic National Committee in an effort to rig the election in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Former interim DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile continues to drop bombshells in an effort to put as much distance between herself and the Clintons as possible. Perhaps it is merely an “insurance policy” of sorts to prevent herself from being added to the Clinton body count or perhaps she has finally had an attack of conscience. Maybe she is attempting to deflect blame from herself for her own poor decisions, either way, the revelations are truly astounding!

Brazile began sounding the alarm last year on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, claiming Hillary took money from state parties to fund her second failed presidential campaign. Brazile revealed in an op-ed published in Politico Magazine that the DNC was broke and in serious debt all courtesy of former President Barack Obama.

Brazile wrote in her op-ed – “Obama left the party $24 million in debt — $15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 campaign — and had been paying that off very slowly.”
Brazile then revealed that Hillary’s campaign fund known as Hillary for America, as well as the Hillary Victory Fund, a fundraising organization that worked hand in hand with the DNC had “taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016, about $10 million, and had placed the party on an allowance.”

According to Brazile’s own testimony, she states – “The Saturday morning after the convention in July, I called Gary Gensler, the chief financial officer of Hillary’s campaign. He wasted no words. He told me the Democratic Party was broke and $2 million in debt.

“What?” I screamed. “I am an officer of the party and they’ve been telling us everything is fine and they were raising money with no problems.”

That wasn’t true, he said. Officials from Hillary’s campaign had taken a look at the DNC’s books. Obama left the party $24 million in debt—$15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 campaign and had been paying that off very slowly. Obama’s campaign was not scheduled to pay it off until 2016. Hillary for America (the campaign) and the Hillary Victory Fund (its joint fundraising vehicle with the DNC) had taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016, about $10 million, and had placed the party on an allowance.

If I didn’t know about this, I assumed that none of the other officers knew about it, either. That was just Debbie’s way. In my experience, she didn’t come to the officers of the DNC for advice and counsel. She seemed to make decisions on her own and let us know at the last minute what she had decided, as she had done when she told us about the hacking only minutes before the Washington Post broke the news.

On the phone, Gary told me the DNC had needed a $2 million loan, which the campaign had arranged.

“No! That can’t be true!” I said. “The party cannot take out a loan without the unanimous agreement of all of the officers.”

“Gary, how did they do this without me knowing?” I asked. “I don’t know how Debbie relates to the officers,” Gary said. He described the party as fully under the control of Hillary’s campaign, which seemed to confirm the suspicions of the Bernie camp. The campaign had the DNC on life support, giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses, while the campaign was using the party as a fund-raising clearinghouse. Under FEC law, an individual can contribute a maximum of $2,700 directly to a presidential campaign. But the limits are much higher for contributions to state parties and a party’s national committee.

Individuals who had maxed out their $2,700 contribution limit to the campaign could write an additional check for $353,400 to the Hillary Victory Fund—that figure represented $10,000 to each of the thirty-two states’ parties who were part of the Victory Fund agreement—$320,000—and $33,400 to the DNC. The money would be deposited in the states first, and transferred to the DNC shortly after that. Money in the battleground states usually stayed in that state, but all the other states funneled that money directly to the DNC, which quickly transferred the money to Brooklyn.

Laura Ingraham Rips Clapper: “He Sounds Like A Bumbling Idiot. Sorry, I’m Being Cruel Here, I Guess, But That’s Just Outrageous”

Laura Ingraham slammed former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper on her show on Fox this week after his appearance on ABC’s The View. “He sounds like a bumbling idiot. Sorry, I’m being cruel here, I guess, but that’s just outrageous,” said Ingraham. “Joy Behar, [a host of The View] look, I trust her more with national intelligence at this point than I would Jim Clapper.” I have to agree with that statement sadly and I detest Joy Behar. It makes you wonder just how much Clapper screwed up our intelligence agencies while he was in charge.

On The View, Clapper happily discussed an FBI informant used to investigate suspicious ties between the presidential campaign of Donald Trump and Russia. Behar asked him if the FBI was spying on the Trump campaign as the President has claimed. “No, they were not,” responded Clapper. “They were spying, a term I don’t particularly like but, on what the Russians were doing, trying to understand were the Russians infiltrating, trying to gain access, trying to gain leverage and influence, which is what they do.” He’s playing word games. Everyone and their dog knows they were spying on both the Russians and the Trump campaign.

Clapper called the tactic “fairly benign.” Trump is furious over that claim. In fact, Clapper claimed they spied to protect President Trump which is just beyond ridiculous. “Reports are there was indeed at least one FBI representative implanted, for political purposes, into my campaign for President,” Trump tweeted last week. “It took place very early on, and long before the phony Russia Hoax became a ‘hot’ Fake News story. If true — all time biggest political scandal!” And the President is right. I have long said that when this scandal blows wide open it will be far worse than Watergate ever was.
According to the New York Times, Trump is conflating the use of an informant who spoke to members of the campaign after suspicious contacts with Russia with a plant. Excuse me, you can be both and they were. You don’t have to believe me, listen to their own words. I also think they were only going after Russia to entrap Trump and I am no fan of Russia. It was a twofer for the FBI who has proven to be corrupt beyond belief here. President Trump has been right all along about Obama and his minions spying on him and stalking him, hoping to catch him at something, anything they could impeach or use against him.

Per Newsweek, Ingraham on her show discussed issues of the “deep state” with former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. The former speaker also did not mince words in going after Clapper. “I am astounded how bad he looks now. I am astounded how dishonest and incompetent he looks,” said Gingrich. “He was a great public servant for many, many years. But when the director — former director of intelligence tells you he doesn’t like to use the word ‘spying’ … I mean think about it. He was the Director of National Intelligence. What do you think he was in charge of doing? He was in charge of spying.”

Gingrich stated that Clapper “thought they could get away with this” because former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would win the election. They never dreamed that Clinton could actually lose, but she did thank goodness. So they went to plan ‘B’. Try and set President Trump up to be impeached and they have been at it ever since. Trump responded to the interview in a tweet, ““Trump should be happy that the FBI was SPYING on his campaign” No, James Clapper, I am not happy. Spying on a campaign would be illegal, and a scandal to boot!”

Gingrich accused Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennon, former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch of “lying” to the American people and he believes that everything was being “coordinated” by President Obama and Valerie Jarrett. Tell me how that isn’t true. That is exactly what happened.

“He was a great public servant for many, many years. But when the director — former director of intelligence tells you he doesn’t like to use the word ‘spying’…” Gingrich said to Ingraham. “I mean think about it. He was the Director of National Intelligence! What do you think he was in charge of doing?!? He was in charge of spying!” He also mocked Clapper for his defense of his lying to Congress on NSA spying, urging Gen. Michael Flynn to use “The Clapper Defense” to Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Gingrich ended by saying Clapper was, in fact, a “professional” and is now stuck in an “impossible situation” and that he should “get off television.” Boy, truer words have never been spoken. He’s just digging an ever deeper hole for himself, the intel agencies and the left.

BEIRUT – The U.S. government says it will take “firm and appropriate measures” to protect a cease-fire in southern Syria if President Bashar Assad’s forces attack rebels there, FOX News reports.

The State Department released information on Friday that they believe Assad Military Forces are preparing to push towards the Jordanian border and Israel border.

The area in southwestern Syria, between the border city of Daraa and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, has emerged as a flashpoint in a wider standoff between regional archrivals Israel and Iran.

The U.S., Russia, and Jordan agreed last year to include Daraa in a “de-escalation zone” to freeze the lines of conflict. But government forces have recently dropped leaflets on rebel-held areas warning of an imminent offensive and urging fighters to lay down their arms, Syrian state media said Friday.
Assad has relied on Russia, Iran and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah to battle an uprising against his family’s decades-long rule and roll-back an Islamic State insurgency that grew out of the country’s seven-year civil war. Iran has sent military commanders to oversee battles and organize militias from across the Middle East to fight alongside Assad’s troops.

The State Department warned the Syrian government against “any actions that risk broadening the conflict.”
The government began moving reinforcements to Daraa province this week after expelling the last rebels and IS militants from around Damascus, according to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which closely monitors the war.

Leaflets dropped on northern Daraa, which is divided between rebel and government-controlled areas, warned: “The men of the Syrian army are coming.”

Hezbollah – or the Party of God – is a powerful political and military organization in Lebanon made up mainly of Shia Muslims.

It emerged with financial backing from Iran in the early 1980s and began a struggle to drive Israeli troops from Lebanon.

Washington has long branded Hezbollah a terrorist organization and has accused it of destabilizing Lebanon in the wake of Syria’s withdrawal of its troops from the country following the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
