Trump Just Swung His Presidential Hammer At ABC After Wrongfully Cancelling Roseanne’s Show

President Donald Trump didn’t mention Roseanne’s show during his rally, but he went off the hinges soon after and swung his presidential hammer towards ABC for what they wrongfully did. ABC canceled the Roseanne show shortly after Roseanne Barr posted a Tweet that a handful of people found offensive. Roseanne’s freedom of speech was used against her as ABC took action over a Tweet that was less than the 240 characters provided by Twitter, a move that many believe ABC will shortly regret. Trump finally chimed in, after learning of the messy situation, and he exposed ABC for participating in the ugly double standard that’s plaguing Hollywood, the entertainment industry, and in particular – those who align themselves on the left side of politics and get away with the same sort of ‘offensive’ verbal jousting that people on the right side of politics continue to be punished for.

Trump, realizing Barr is a supporter, took Roseanne’s side and personally called out Bob Iger of ABC to criticize him for allowing ABC to make a terrible decision in canceling a show that had millions of viewers. Trump mentioned the treatment that he receives from people on the ABC network and how those people don’t lose their job, even though Roseanne lost hers for taking similar verbal jabs at people she’s not thrilled with. Roseanne’s comments could be considered highly misinterpreted as many believe Valerie Jarrett looks whiter than most white people and Roseanne made subtle claims that she didn’t realize Jarrett might identify as black (about as black as Rachel Dolezal).

The Hill provided this information about Trump calling out Bob Iger of ABC: “President Trump on Wednesday accused ABC of a double standard in its decision to cancel the hit sitcom “Roseanne,” whose star, Roseanne Barr, is a vocal Trump supporter who has come under fire for a racist tweet she sent earlier in the week.
“Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that ‘ABC does not tolerate comments like those’ made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?” Trump tweeted.

The tweet is Trump’s first response to the show’s cancellation, in which he chose to focus on Iger rather than the substance of Barr’s comments. Barr later retweeted Trump’s post.

Barr on Tuesday sent a tweet likening Jarrett, a black former adviser to President Obama, to an ape. Jarrett revealed later in the day that Iger called her before announcing “Roseanne” had been nixed.

In the now-deleted tweet, Barr wrote: “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,” referring to Jarrett by her initials. Barr later apologized, but retweeted messages of support from her fans, including one who said “Roseanne is not racist.”
The comedian’s remark drew nationwide backlash and ABC quickly moved to cancel the show, despite its high ratings.

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey called the remark “abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values” in a statement announcing the cancellation, and Iger added on Twitter that “there was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing.”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said later Wednesday that “nobody is defending her comments,” which she called “inappropriate.” But she said Trump is frustrated by a “double standard” in the media.

She rattled off a list of grievances with Disney, which is the parent company of ABC and ESPN, citing anti-Trump comments made by personalities such as Jemele Hill, Keith Olbermann, Joy Behar and Kathy Griffin.

“The president is pointing to the hypocrisy in the media, saying that [sic] the most horrible thing about this president and nobody addresses it,” Sanders said.

Hill was suspended by ESPN in part due to her tweets calling Trump a “white supremacist” and Griffin was fired by CNN, which is not affiliated with Disney, for tweeting a gruesome image of Trump.

The president has previously boasted of the “Roseanne” reboot’s large viewership, which many said represented the daily lives of his supporters. Trump even called Barr last year to congratulate her on the show’s success.”

Diyala, IRAQ – At least 14 people were killed and injured in a bomb blast that hit a market in Diyala, according to officials.

“The emergency of Baquba educational hospital received a victim and three others wounded,” Fares al-Azzawi, head of the media department in Diyala health directorate, told Alghad Press.

The blast took place near a school in the Baquba market in Diyala, Iraqi News reported.
The scene was described as “chaotic,” according to witnesses at the scene.

ISIS has not claimed responsibility for the attack but officials believe that they carried out the deadly attack.

AFF reported that one policeman was killed and three others were wounded as a bomb attack targeted their police vehicle in western Anbar, a security source was quoted as saying.

Speaking to Basnews website on Monday, the source said, “An explosive charge targeted a police vehicle carrying policemen between Rawa and Anah districts, west of Anbar.”

“The blast left a policeman killed and three others wounded,” the source said, adding that the troops were on a mission to secure agricultural lands and villages between Rawa and Anah districts, Iraqi News reported.

He pointed out the bomb is believed to be left over by ISIS militants.

“Security forces immediately rushed to the blast site and started combing the area in search for other bombs on site,” he noted.

A total of 68 Iraqis were killed and another 122 injured in acts of terrorism, violence and armed conflict in Iraq in April, according to casualty figures recorded by the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).

As many as 3,298 civilians were killed and 4,781 others were wounded in 2017, excluding Anbar civilian casualty figures for November and December, which are not available, UNAMI said in a report in December.

Islamic State continues to launch sporadic attacks across Iraq against troops. Security reports indicate that the militant group still poses threat against stability in the country.

Thousands of Islamic State militants as well as Iraqi civilians were killed since the government campaign, backed by paramilitary troops and the coalition was launched in October 2016 to fight the militant group, which declared a self-styled “caliphate” from Mosul in June 2014.

What a mess.

Here’s another story to add to your, “What the heck is going on in CA?” folder.

We’ve talked about California. A lot. Not a day goes by when we learn something crazy about the Golden State. We know that there are many patriots in California. You’re just as fed up with your liberal leadership as we are. More so probably. Yet, despite the hard-working people who keep that state afloat, California Democrats are dead set on ruining it.

Gov. Jerry Brown has all but torched the state’s future. He’s neglecting needed infrastructure repairs, including building much-needed reservoirs. Instead, he wants to spend billions on a frivolous high-speed rail. Just to keep the unions happy.

That’s not to mention his continued support of illegal immigrants. This, as hundreds of thousands of Americans live on the street.

Now a California mayor has another insane plan. This one really takes the cake.

Stockton, California, Mayor Michael Tubbs (D) is proposing $1,000 for people considered “most likely to shoot somebody.”

Fox & Friends reports that Tubbs’ plan would offer potential shooters “18 months of counseling” and the money if they avoid getting into trouble.

The Los Angeles Times reports that financial incentives for potential shooters is part of a “program … called Advance Peace.” It is being advertised as a way to reach shooters before they act on their proclivities, using the money and the counseling to lure them away from violence.

Tubbs said, “Let me be clear, Advance Peace is not a get out of jail free card. Participating in this program doesn’t erase the past, but it does help these young men learn how to make better choices for their own and our community’s collective future.”

The Advance Peace program is being pushed along with a $500-a-month guaranteed basic income for “a select group of residents.”

M-hm. And does this “select group of residents,” come from Mexico? Perhaps illegally?

I mean, come on. Do any of the left’s plans not involve stealing money from taxpayers? Everything they want to do requires shelling out insane amounts of tax dollars. Can’t they do something that isn’t a terrible burden on hard-working Americans?

The entire platform of the left is built around punishing Americans and rewarding the undeserving. This one is really stupid. Tubbs (great name, btw) wants to bribe criminals, hoping they’ll just turn themselves in for 1000 bucks. Really good plan Tubbs. Perhaps your best.

Does he seriously think this is going to work? You know the best way to stop criminals is? Cops! Why don’t you take all that money you want to give to criminals and use it to hire more police? They are the ones risking their lives to keep Stockton safe. And—despite the ongoing hit job they receive from the media—most cops do a really good job.

The only time a city suffers is when the cops aren’t properly equipped or prepared. Or brain dead liberals waste money on idiotic ideas.

Perhaps Stockton needs a new mayor. And fast.

There are times when the mask falls. When we get the sense that all the bluster from the media against Trump is just hot air. There are times when we see their hate for the charade it really is.

That happened right after he was elected. As Trump was preparing for the transition, numerous people visited him at Trump Tower in New York. High-profile celebrities, politicians, and business people met with the President-Elect, in order to curry his favor. Many of those same people criticized Trump during the election.

Even today, it’s the same thing. The media would have you believe Trump is their enemy. That they hate him with every fiber of their being. That the president making America great again is their kryptonite.

Until, they need something, that is. Suddenly Trump is their best friend. They’ll put aside the empty rhetoric they spew on CNN, in order to meet with the Commander in Chief.

That’s just what’s happening right now.

Alice Johnson is serving a life sentence without parole for a first-time nonviolent drug offense, according to Mic, which did a video profile of the woman in 2017 that initially brought Kardashian West’s attention to the case.

Kardashian West has reportedly been working for months to grant Johnson a presidential pardon, and has been in communication with Kushner and other members of the Trump administration, according to the outlet.

Last week, Trump granted a posthumous pardon to Jack Johnson, boxing’s first black heavyweight champion, following pleas from actor Sylvester Stallone and Johnson’s great-great niece.

Kim’s husband might be a big Trump supporter, but she isn’t. Kim Kardashian famously posted a selfie with presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during the election. While the reality star isn’t known for her politics, it’s clear she isn’t a conservative.

Yet when it comes to real issues, issues that aren’t just about sound bites for TV, she is willing to seek Trump’s help. This is nothing new. The left love to virtue signal on Twitter about how much they hate the President. It’s all a show. They cannot be seen supporting Trump—even when he does amazing things—because they would offend the rest of their party.

So they continue to play games, despite how it damages our country.

When the chips are down, though, all that falls away. Liberals and outspoken critics suddenly become buddy-buddy with the people they hate.

Hey liberals, if Trump is such an “illegitimate president,” why seek his help for these matters? Why met with him at all? Maybe, it’s because he’s not illegitimate. He’s the real deal. Trump is the man fixing numerous problems in our country. And he can fix problems like people being wrongfully incarcerated.

Kim knows this. As do all the others. They pony up to the man in order to fix these issues. But will they then appear on TV and praise him? Will they suddenly offer thanks and respect for President Trump?

Well… I won’t hold my breath waiting.

Thanks to the Democrats fighting our President, illegals are storming our border more than ever. Illegal immigration advocates have become bolder.

They don’t think their caravans of aliens will be turned away. After all, liberals have been successful in preventing the wall from going up.

Illegal immigration has gotten so bad, the President had to order the National Guard to our border. Far too many aliens are trying to enter. That includes criminals, drug cartel members, and human traffickers.

Yet the Democrats think this is a game. They look the other way as our national security goes down the toilet. I guess they want violent criminals flooding our streets. And sex traffickers abusing women and children.

Things are only getting more intense. And the White House announced some shocking numbers. Unless the wall is built, this will only get worse.

The White House is aggressively stepping up its fight for tighter border enforcement, blaming former President Obama’s “catch-and-release” policies and legal loopholes promoted by congressional Democrats for the surge in fraudulent asylum claims and youth smuggling into the U.S…

As part of its battle, the White House cited new and disturbing numbers that detail the surge in illegal immigration and asylum claims that they say are the result of the wink and nod policies of the Obama era loopholes. Among them:

Illegal entry attempts have tripled as immigrants have tried to get into the U.S. before new effort to stop them can be implemented.

Apprehensions of illegal immigrants are up 50,000 for the second month in a row.

Another shocking figure: “there has been a 315 percent one-year increase in illegals using children to pose as family units to gain entry into the country.” Criminal aliens know that Obama let in people with kids. His administration didn’t even bother finding out if it was the same family. So, illegals can just kidnap children and force them to accompany them.

See why his policies were so bad?

Democrats have done nothing. They foolishly think that the legions of illegals that sneak across the border will support them. Because Democrats promise them free government benefits and “amnesty.” Guess who suffers? Americans who work hard to support their families. And the millions of legal immigrants who want to come here fairly.

But since when have Democrats cared about what’s fair? These are “social justice warriors.” They want to take your money and give it to criminals and illegals. Democrats would rather have us all poor and miserable, as long as they are in office.

There’s only one thing we can do: vote them out asap.
