Mouthy Reporter Asks Sanders About Roseanne, Floored By Sarah’s Response

On Wednesday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was pressed by reporters about the controversy surrounding comedian Roseanne Barr. One mouthy reporter, in particular, was floored by Sanders’ no-nonsense response.

On Tuesday, Roseanne Barr’s pro-Trump comedy was canceled — despite the fact that it was the top-rated show on television —after she released a tweet comparing former top Obama aide Valerie Jarrett to “Planet of the Apes.”

ABC has pulled the plug on the revival “Roseanne.” The move comes after series star and creator Roseanne Barr made a comment on Twitter Tuesday morning referring to former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett as looking like the offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes.” Jarrett, an African-American, was born in Iran to American parents.

“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement. Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger voiced his support for the cancellation, tweeting, “There was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing.”

Barr deleted her tweet about Jarrett not long after posting it. She followed it up with an apology that read, “I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste. I am now leaving Twitter.” [Source: Variety]

“Has the president spoken to Roseanne Barr, who we know has been a longtime friend of his?” a reporter asked White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Wednesday. “Why did he choose to address the ABC apology instead of the underlying issue of concerns about a racist comment that she tweeted out?”

“I’m not aware of any conversations that have taken place. The president is simply calling out the media bias. No one’s defending what she said. The president is the president of all Americans, and he is focused on doing what is best for our country, and you can see that in the actions that he has taken,” Sanders said, rattling off a number of Trump’s accomplishments, according to The Daily Caller.
Sarah Sanders also referenced President Donald Trump’s tweet Wednesday asking why ABC never apologized to him. “Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that ‘ABC does not tolerate comments like those’ made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?” the president wrote.

“The president’s pointing to the hypocrisy in the media, saying the most horrible things about this president, and nobody addresses it,” said Sanders. “Where was Bob Iger’s apology to the White House staff for Jemelle Hill calling the president and anyone associated with him a white supremacist, to Christians around the world for Joy Behar calling Christianity a mental illness?” she asked.

“Where was the apology for Kathy Griffin going on a profane rant against the president on ‘The View’ after a photo showed her holding President Trump’s decapitated head? Where was the apology from Bob Iger for ESPN hiring Keith Olbermann after his numerous expletive tweets attacking Trump as a Nazi and even expanding Olbermann’s role after that attack against the president’s family?” Sanders continued.
“This is a double standard that the president is speaking about. No one is defending her comments. They’re inappropriate, but that’s the point that he was making,” Trump’s spokeswoman concluded. Indeed, there seems to be a glaring double-standard. When a conservative is attacked, it’s all fun and games. However, when a liberal is the butt of the joke, careers are ruined. Talk about dishing it out but not being able to take it!

First Lady Melania Trump is sick and tired of the rabid Trump haters in the media. In fact, our beloved first lady has been under an intense attack by those haters ever since she had kidney surgery. So much so that Mrs. Trump really went rogue and shamed the leftist media with a nasty surprise. You’ll love this.

Ever since Donald Trump rode down the escalator at Trump Tower to run for president back in June 2015, his wife Melania Trump has been a supportive spouse, but she wasn’t interested in becoming part of a political machine. Melania’s style as the first lady is compared most to Jackie Kennedy.

Classy, demure, and traditional best describes how Melania has been defined in her role as FLOTUS. Yet, even though she is not loud or an attention seeking politico, like Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton, the Trump hating media refuses to give her a break.

Since most of us don’t pay attention to the mainstream media, also known as fake news, we have no clue as to what these monsters are writing and saying about Melania, but she knows. It’s part of her staff’s job to monitor the press, and sadly they have been extremely brutal to Melania lately.
Politico is one of the Trump hating media outlets spreading crazy rumors about our first lady. They report,” [Melania’s] left the White House and moved back to New York City. She’s cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller. She’s holed up with the Obamas, working on a tell-all book about her husband — unless she had a secret nip and tuck, in which case she’s just healing.”

They add, “During the two weeks since Melania Trump returned to the White House following what was described as a relatively minor surgery — a period during which she has been absent from ceremonial events like a Memorial Day wreath-laying at Arlington National Cemetery — conspiracy theories have flooded in to fill the void of information about the first lady’s health, and whereabouts.”

This Politico piece shows best what those rabid Trump haters have been screaming about on CNN, MSNBC, and in most leftist news sources. They are creating fake news and attacking her relentlessly, and it’s out of control.

CNN weighed in devoting an entire 1,000-word article to tell us they haven’t seen Melania in 20 days. Well, she was in the freaking hospital for a week, I’m thinking she’s recuperating. Is she an elected official? Do we need to know her every move on a daily basis? This is ridiculous.

We understand they are going to attack the president and lie about the president every chance they get. We don’t like it, but he is fair game. But Melania Trump should be off-limits for these type of fake news attacks. She isn’t a seasoned politician who is going on the offensive making arguments on primetime TV. It boggles the mind how sick these rabid haters truly are, and finally, Melania got sick of them too.
In a somewhat shocking move, the first lady sent out a tweet addressing the fake news. She tweeted, “I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I’m doing. Rest assured, I’m here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!”

In other words, Melania is saying, “Yo, you idiots in the fake news. Knock it off. I’m in the White House doing my job. Why don’t you do your job? Stop lying about me. Now go away.” This is new for Melania who has never addressed the fake news nutjobs head on. So good for her, and as always she keeps it classy.

Melania’s tweet triggered the snowflakes. It got so bad, even one of Hillary Clinton’s advisors from her failed presidential campaign attacked the first lady directly on Twitter. Big bully Adam Parkhomenko responded to Melania, tweeting, “working overtime huh,” attaching a screenshot of Trump’s tweets. This dude has Trump Derangement Syndrome, he also proves leftist snowflake men are just big crying babies:Melania Trump has a right to her privacy. We know she had a procedure, a type of surgery, which included treating a benign tumor on her kidney. The first lady had to stay in the hospital for over a week, so she is still healing, and taking a break from the public eye. She is not an elected official, so these gossip-mongers have no right to insinuate she’s doing anything wrong. They are so obsessed.

They need to get over it already. They lost the election, and bullying Melania may make them feel better for a time, but it won’t change the fact that Donald Trump is the president and their horrible candidate, Hillary Clinton, got her butt kicked. Instead of bullying Melania to make themselves feel better, I suggest they go find a safe space where they can scream and cry it out, once and for all.

Liberals are freaking out after President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani dropped a nasty truth bomb on California Congresswoman Maxine Waters. You won’t want to miss this.

Maxine Waters (D-CA) is one of the biggest scam artists in Congress, and yet she continues to be re-elected by the constituents in her voting district. Waters is usually known best for embarrassing the Democratic Party with her imbecilic behavior and most notably her calls for the impeachment of our President without cause.

During a recent interview with Fox News’ talk show host Sean Hannity, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani had some brutal words for the California Democrat that are too good not to share. Giuliani talked first about why some people have attacked him and the way in which he’s going about defending our President.
“Some people have criticized my strategy, which is the President’s, of to some extent playing to the American people. If this were a regular case, I wouldn’t be doing it. But the people who will decide this are the people of the United States in the 2018 election,” Giuliani said.

I could not agree more with Trump’s attorney. The midterm elections will likely control the outcome of the Democrats’ scheme to commence impeachment proceedings despite the fact that there is no evidence whatsoever to support or warrant such action by Congress.
Giuliani nailed Democrats for their wishy-washy tactics and pointed out that while many of them called for Trump’s impeachment early on, they have backed off of this tactic because they realize how much harm it has done to their party’s midterm campaigns. “They are switching fast, and the Democrats are running for cover. You don’t hear them say the word impeachment anymore,” Giuliani said.

Then Giuliani went after Waters who is known for her hysterical behavior and calls for impeachment. “I challenge Maxine Waters to say impeachment. Say it. Say impeachment, sweetheart. Just say it. And you know what’s going to happen? You’re going to go down. Not maybe you because they vote for you. I don’t know why, but they vote for you,” he continued.

I could not agree more with Rudy Giuliani. Maxine Waters has done nothing but embarrass and damage her party’s cause with her obsessive calls for impeachment. Slimy politicians like Waters only further ruin the character of our government, and it’s good to see Giuliani calling her out for what has been months of incessant whining.

There’s no question that most Americans see Waters the way that Giuliani does — as a spectacle and a fool. The truth of the matter is that Waters is a relic of the Democratic Party. In my opinion, her attempt to stay relevant by demanding President Donald Trump’s impeachment only drives more people to reconsider the agenda being peddled by the left.

Giuliani continued to hammer the Democrats with the ugly truth and then hit adult film star Stormy Daniel’s attorney Michael Avenatti. “But, your colleagues are going to go down and this is the change we brought about by engaging and not letting them get away with the unethical behavior that has now outraged Judge Ellis, Judge Wood — you know what she did? She threw Avenatti, the television star of the leftwing CNN and MSNBC, she threw him out of court. He doesn’t belong in a New York court. He’s not ethical enough. You know why? He’s a big liar and he wanted to debate me. Like heck, he’s going to debate me,” Giuliani added.
In regard to Giuliani’s strategy, it’s spot on. Notably, Giuliani stated that Trump shares his strategy in appealing to the American people because they know that the true power rests in the hands of the voters. In my opinion, that is the true value of having a government run by Trump. Instead of constantly scheming to undermine the will of the American people as Barack Obama did, Trump gets his support from delivering results and relying on those results to grow his voting base and the strength of his party.

After Roseanne Barr tweeted out an attack on a former Obama top aide, CNN wasted no time attacking President Trump and all of his supporters.

Now, in order to really push home their “racism” narrative, CNN is going to war on Trump supporters, and bringing on guests who claim that every single person who voted for President Trump is “racist.”

Most of the people who appear on CNN are, unsurprisingly, liberals. However, every so often, a guest veers so far to the left that even the hosts are surprised by what that person says.

That was the case on CNN’s Wednesday morning show New Day, when Michaela Angela Davis responded to a question posed by new co-host John Berman. He asked if Roseanne Barr “felt empowered” by President Donald Trump to make the racist remarks that led to the cancellation of her ABC sitcom.

“Absolutely,” the culture critic responded before going so far as to claim that everyone who voted for the Republican during the 2016 presidential campaign is a racist.
Berman’s question seemed reasonable enough for someone on CNN, as he continued:

The argument that some people are making, that Roseanne Barr maybe felt empowered to talk like this because of President Trump….I mean, look, she’s got a history of saying things like this completely on her own that have gone back before this administration. How do you counter that with the “rapid-ish” response from ABC?

“Well,” Davis replied, “they made a connection together….when Trump…touted her ratings, almost took credit for them” as the president and the comedian “made their relationship clear.”

The guest then claimed that the Republican occupant of the White House “made it more popular, I think, to be openly racist.”

As if that wasn’t liberal enough, she added: “I think it’s important that we don’t make Trump seem this untouchable thing, you know, that no one gets to be Trump but Trump. Tens of millions of people voted for him after he showed his cards for years.”

Obviously caught off guard by the comment, Berman gave the guest a chance to walk back her remark: “But are you suggesting that they’re racist?” Davis nevertheless replied: “Absolutely, yes.”
“All of the people that voted for Donald Trump are racist?” the co-host asked again.

“Yes,” she stated. “They may not all be violently racist,” but Trump is “very clear and strategic” in his use of the “anti-blackness” that “has been the foundation” of his political life.

“We have to grapple with the idea that…you heard someone at their rallies say ‘Build the wall and kill them all.’”

“Listen,” fellow co-host Alisyn Camerota interrupted, “you know that people interpret this differently, and to paint with as broad a brush as you are, saying that everybody who voted for him is racist, you know how people operate.”

“They’ll compartmentalize, and they’ll say that people had compartmentalized during Bill Clinton,” Camerota added, “and you overlook the things that you’re uncomfortable with because you like the policy, so you can’t paint with that broad a brush.”

Davis still refused to back down, asserting: “Racism isn’t broad, so what you’re not hearing is there’s so many different levels of racism and how it works itself out.”

As NewsBusters previously reported, this isn’t the first time Davis startled her CNN hosts. In September of 2016, the Black Lives Matter sympathizer responded on CNN to the fatal shooting by police officers in North Carolina of an armed black man by bemoaning white “brutality” and defending violent protesters as “burning down the plantation.”

When choosing people to be guests or panelists on CNN, the network usually makes safe selections of people who are fellow travelers on the left side of the road. However, it is certainly refreshing when one of those visitors forces the hosts to walk back something even they can’t deny is too liberal for the viewers of that cable channel.

Roseanne Barr has always been a very outspoken Hollywood Actress. She’s known for her amazing role as Roseanne Conner on her hit 90’s tv series “Roseanne”. ABC decided to bring back the show right where it left off, but with a Conservative feel. This was intentional. Hollywood is starting to understand that the majority of people that watch their network are middle-class Americans who are just trying to make it to the next paycheck to pay bills. After the 2016 presidential elections, ABC felt they needed to get “In Touch” with middle-class America by revamping the hit series.

The First episode had to be spectacular. Roseanne came on with arms swinging defending President Trump to her sister Jackie Harris who wore a P-hat as she walked in the front door. Right then and there the comeback had become a success. This was short lived ( Like we all knew it would be)

Recently, Roseanne made a very offensive remark on Twitter about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.
Doesn’t seem too bad, does it? It’s really not, and let me explain to you why. Roseanne was making a simple remark that Jarette looked like a character from Planet Of the Apes, and was referring to her Muslim upbringing. What’s wrong with that? To millions of Americans, NOTHING. It was a simple joke that the Politically Correct in Hollywood took completely out of context, and has then accused Roseanne of tweeting a very offensive racist remark. Let’s be real. yes, it was a little offensive, but it was also funny. She’s a comedian. What more do you expect? Every single day you hear Hollywood’s elitist left constantly bad mouthing President Trump calling him horrible names, and making up fake news stories to try and crush any hope that President Trump is doing a damn good job.

There is a huge double standard here. Bill Maher can go on his show, and make fun of Sarah Palin’s son with down syndrome. He’s called plenty of Conservative women “B*tches”, and has attacked Melania Trump several times. Kathy Griffin literally held up a blood head that represented President Trump being Beheaded. It took some time, but she was eventually blacklisted. It didn’t’ last long. Today, Griffin is out doing her “Comedy” tour and has yet to actually be held accountable by the mainstream media. Time after time there have been so many vulgar things said about Conservatives on Live TV and Television sitcoms. Yet, NO ONE is held accountable.

Roseanne has had enough of the holier than thou elitist in Hollywood. She’s now lashing back out at everyone including her co-stars.
A day after she apologized for a racist tweet comparing former key Obama aide Valerie Jarrett to an ape, Roseanne Barr is lashing out against her “Roseanne” colleagues who denounced her on Twitter. “Roseanne” was canceled on Tuesday after Barr’s tweet went viral.

Barr’s former co-star Michael Fishman, who played her son D.J. Conner on “Roseanne,” said he “condemned” Barr’s tweet about Jarrett and said he was “devastated” by the show’s cancellation. He said he was especially disappointed because the show embraced inclusivity.

Barr responded: “i created the platform for that inclusivity and you know it.ME . You throw me under the bus. nice!”

Fishman wrote back, “You fought, built, and designed Roseanne for inclusiveness. That is why yesterday was so out of character with the last 30 years. It was in your hands from the beginning to the end. No one can deny that.”

Barr asked him to leave her alone. –CBS
Barr also hit back at former co-star Sara Gilbert, who played her daughter Darlene Conner on the show.

Gilbert wrote that Barr’s comments about Jarrett were “abhorrent” and “do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least.”

Barr wrote back, “Wow! unreal.”
WASHINGTON — President Trump acknowledged on Wednesday the furor over a racist Twitter post made by Roseanne Barr, but focused on an apology issued by ABC instead of the offensive content of the television star’s remarks.
