Mississippi Thug Threatens Nephew With Hatchet, Gets Horrific Surprise

A thug in Mississippi recently threatened his 16-year-old nephew with a hatchet on the family’s front porch when the boy’s parents were away. Now, the story has gone viral after the hatchet-wielding uncle got a horrific surprise he never saw coming.

Every week in our country, many people become the victims of violent and often fatal crimes. The sad truth about these incidents is that, more often than not, the victim knows the attacker. Deputies from the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department responded to one such call on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, after a hatchet-wielding man tried to assault his nephew after the teen’s mother left their home.

According to local news source WCBI, the incident took place at the home of Rachel Cork, who identified herself as the sister-in-law of the suspect. Police said that the hatchet-wielding uncle was identified as Jerry Lee Robinson, and he showed up at the family’s home unannounced after Cork had left for work. Cork said that Robinson tried to break in while her 16-year-old son was home alone. As Robinson attempted to break in, he had no idea his criminal behavior was about to cost him everything.
“I just had left to go to work and I took my daughter with me, so when I left to go to work, I probably wasn’t gone from my house, just right up the road, and I guess he come over here and tried to break in on my son, and my son shot him,” Cork told a reporter. “The bullet blowed him back and he laid, he fell, and laid right here,” she added. Robinson would not survive the bullet to the chest his nephew was forced to put there.

Trying to imagine what Cork’s son went through the moment his uncle made an aggressive move toward him with the hatchet is impossible. No 16-year-old kid should have to go through something like that. Thank God, this young man was able to protect himself from his obviously deranged uncle, who got exactly what he deserved. The 16-year-old victim did exactly what he had to do to protect himself.
According to local news source WTVA, deputies from Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department arrived to find Robinson already dead as a doornail. Deputies recovered the hatchet he’d been wielding at his nephew moments before he came down with a deadly case of “lead poisoning.” Now, the family will undoubtedly grieve over the situation as they bury Robinson.

Cork told WCBI that she realized this horrific situation could have easily turned out so much worse for her and her son. “Yeah, my son defended himself. It could have been the other way around. It could have been my son, I’m the one I’m picking up and having to bury, but it wasn’t,” she said.

When asked if this had been the first time Robinson behaved in such a psychotic manner, Cork said that there had been previous instances where Robinson became violent and threatened other family members. “No, that’s not the first time. I have some videos where he came into my yard with two machetes, threatening my husband, and everything,” she explained.
Deputies say that Jerry Lee Robinson, who lives just next door to the Corks, had made threats against the family only two weeks before his nephew was forced to shoot him. “If there’s something he can’t have, he would get mad, and so he would come and take it out on us,” Rachel Cork said.

No charges have been filed against the 16-year-old young man, nor should they be. Although the case will go before a grand jury in August, it’s hard to imagine any level-headed member of the community wanting to see the young man prosecuted. The bottom line here is that an innocent teenager was forced to defend himself from an obviously demented and violent family member. This story is a good reminder that an armed society is a just society.

Sarah Sanders Just Released Sudden White House Statement About Roseanne

At this point in time it’s impossible to not hear about, or have an opinion about the fact that because of an offensive late night tweet by Roseanne Barr, ABC decided to try to convince people that they actually have morals and values by canceling her top-rated show. Everywhere you look online or TV everyone has an opinion about what transpired between Roseanne and her Twitter page. But since the media needs to take one step further, and since nothing else sticks, they are now trying to use a tweet in bad taste to topple the President of the United States by asking White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to comment about this unfortunate incident which Roseanne has already apologized for.

But since Sanders is so much smarter than any of these 3rd rate journalists who get paid to camp out at the White House just in case there is a chance to fan over a Democrat President or attack a Republican one, she didn’t play into their devious plan.

This was really the only possible answer the Press Secretary could have given a reporter who clearly was ready to set up this question as a gotcha moment since journalism is now d**d and all they have become are soldiers in the cause to forward Liberalism and the far left agenda.
Everyone seems to be talking about this, but let’s be honest here, this nothing worse than what hacks such as Keith Olbermann, Samantha Bee, and Jimmy Kimmel has said about President Trump and us, his supporters. The difference here is Roseanne actually apologized for her comments, the others haven’t. Kimmel even laughed at Melania Trump’s accent and he still has a job.

“Where was Bob Iger’s apology to the White House staff for Jamele Hill calling the President, and anyone associated with him, a white supremacist? To Christians around the world for Joy Behar calling Christianity a mental illness? Where was the apology for Kathy Griffin going on a profane rant against the President on The View after a photo showed her holding President Trump’s decapitated head? And where was the apology from Bog Iger for ESPN hiring Keith Olbermann after his numerous expletive-laced tweets attacking the President as a Nazi and even expanding Olbermann’s role after that attack against the President’s family. This is a double-standard that the President is speaking about, nobody is defending her comments, they’re inappropriate but that’s what the point that he was making,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.

ABC has every right to keep all the liberal offenders on the air, but we as viewers also have every right to not watch. And also to boycott those advertisers who choose to support those offenders with their advertising dollars. If ABC finally found “Morals and Values,” it’s time we also use our own and uphold ours with our pocketbooks. Don’t you agree?

“President Donald Trump complained Thursday that ABC operates under a “double standard” that punished comic Roseanne Barr for a racist tweet but offered Trump no apology after an erroneous story involving former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

“Iger, where is my call of apology? You and ABC have offended millions of people, and they demand a response,” the president wrote on Twitter, addressing Disney executive Bob Iger, whose company owns ABC and who reportedly phoned Valerie Jarrett, the former Barack Obama adviser who was the target of Barr’s racist comment, to tell her that Barr’s sitcom had been canceled.

“How is Brian Ross doing? He tanked the market with an ABC lie, yet no apology. Double Standard!” the president continued.

Ross, ABC News’ chief investigative correspondent, was suspended for four weeks late last year after he erroneously reported that Flynn, as part of his deal with prosecutors, would testify that the president “directed him to make contact with the Russians.” That report proved to be inaccurate, prompting Ross’ suspension and later reassignment to a different division of ABC News where he no longer covers stories involving the president.

Despite Trump’s suggestion that the network did not apologize for the error, ABC News released a statement shortly after retracting Ross’ reporting that said, “we deeply regret and apologize for the serious error we made yesterday.”

Stocks in the U.S. did briefly drop on the same day that Ross’ erroneous story broke — although it’s unclear how much of that drop resulted from the incorrect reporting — but mostly recovered by the end of the day.

Trump has yet to personally condemn the remarks by Barr, who wrote on Twitter that Jarrett was the product of the “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes” having “a baby,” but White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders did say Wednesday that the comedian’s comments were “inappropriate.”

ABC Learns The Hard Way That Canceling ‘Roseanne’ Was A Disastrous Mistake

On Tuesday, ABC made the decision to cancel Roseanne Barr’s hit comedy — the highest rated show on television — after Barr released a tweet comparing Barack Obama’s former aide Valerie Jarrett to “Planet of the Apes.” However, in the days following the initial incident, it became apparent just how hypocritical ABC’s decision really was. Now, the network has learned the hard way that canceling “Roseanne” has amounted to a disastrous mistake.

On Tuesday, Roseanne Barr’s pro-Trump comedy was canceled — despite the fact that it was the top-rated show on television — after she released a tweet comparing former top Obama aide Valerie Jarrett to “Planet of the Apes.”

ABC has pulled the plug on the revival “Roseanne.” The move comes after series star and creator Roseanne Barr made a comment on Twitter Tuesday morning referring to former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett as looking like the offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes.” Jarrett, an African-American, was born in Iran to American parents.

“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement. Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger voiced his support for the cancellation, tweeting, “There was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing.”

Barr deleted her tweet about Jarrett not long after posting it. She followed it up with an apology that read, “I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste. I am now leaving Twitter.” [Source: Variety]

In the wake of the controversy, there has been heated debate surrounding the double-standard that Hollywood seems to employ when it comes to what right-leaning celebrities are permitted to say versus their liberal counterparts. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders noted as much during her daily briefing on Wednesday, saying, “Where was Bob Iger’s apology to the White House staff for Jemelle Hill calling the president and anyone associated with him a white supremacist, to Christians around the world for Joy Behar calling Christianity a mental illness?”

“Where was the apology for Kathy Griffin going on a profane rant against the president on ‘The View’ after a photo showed her holding President Trump’s decapitated head?” Sanders furthered. “Where was the apology from Bob Iger for ESPN hiring Keith Olbermann after his numerous expletive tweets attacking Trump as a Nazi and even expanding Olbermann’s role after that attack against the president’s family?”
Indeed, it seems wholly unfair and tremendously hypocritical for ABC to cancel Roseanne Barr’s show, especially given its overwhelming success, when other celebrities have also said incendiary things and gone on to enjoy lucrative careers. The only difference seems to be that Roseanne targeted a well-known Democrat, while her liberal counterparts took aim at Republicans.

With the controversy surrounding ABC’s hypocrisy still fresh, it has now been revealed that the network stands to lose a whopping $60 million dollars per year for their decision to cancel “Roseanne”:
The abrupt cancellation of Roseanne will not come cheap. Although the decision was widely viewed as necessary given the racist nature of star Roseanne Barr’s social media attack on Valerie Jarrett, the former senior adviser to Barack Obama, several sources with knowledge of the situation suggest that ABC and parent company Disney could be on the hook for “tens of millions of dollars.” And that doesn’t include the forgone ad revenue, as broadcast’s No. 1 show was expected to drive at least $60 million in its 11th season, according to Kantar Media. We now know that an agenda is more important to ABC than the company’s bottom line, which is a very scary thought. If they’re willing to lose $60 million in ad revenue simply to silence Roseanne Barr, one shudders to think what they wouldn’t do in support of the liberal agenda.
This was never about “doing the right thing.” If it were, Jamele Hill would not have a job and neither would Joy Behar, Kathy Griffin, or Keith Olbermann. ABC took the first opportunity they could to take down one of President Donald Trump’s most vocal supporters, and now, the network is paying the price for their hypocrisy.
