Only three days after ABC fired Roseanne for a racist tweet and then canceled her show, they are now considering keeping the show on the air, but there’s something extremely wrong with what they want to do. They want to air the show without Roseanne. Instead, they want to focus on her daughter, Darlene. Darlene is not the draw here; Roseanne and hubby are. Some are saying the network wanted to get rid of Roseanne for financial reasons as well. You mean, you have the number one rated show out there that is a cash cow and you don’t want to pay the star that made the show? ABC deserves to go broke and is doing a fine job of it.

Variety magazine is saying that insiders at ABC are reporting that the head honchos want to re-brand “Roseanne” by eliminating Barr’s character and refocusing the plot on the character’s daughter, Darlene. They also cautioned that reviving “Roseanne” could stir up additional drama for the network. However, Roseanne Barr has a contract with the network and if they go on without her, they have to buy her out. “One big problem to overcome is the fact that Barr has a significant financial interest in the series, and there is concern that a new iteration that would benefit her financially would be a non-starter for everyone involved,” Variety noted.

Fox should buy out the contract and entice Roseanne and company over to their network. If Bill Maher can get away with comparing President Trump to an orangutan and not get fired, then Roseanne should be forgiven and get to run with her hit show. The truly ironic part of all this is the reason that ABC wants so desperately to bring “Roseanne” back to life is that they owe a ton of money to the show’s actors, writers and producers. It’s all contractually obligated. “Key actors are said to have a minimum 10-episode guarantee for Season 2, which had an initial order of 13 episodes,” Variety reported. “The highest echelon of writers and producers also have some minimum episodic guarantees.” Oh, this is getting good.
What ABC doesn’t get is if they try this, the ratings could plummet because less people will likely watch it. The show will have lost its appeal to the common viewer out there and could be just another liberal social justice lecture. Many fans are already vowing to boycott ABC over their double standards and blatant hypocrisy.

Black political commentator Larry Elder is arguing that Barr’s “racist” remark about former President Obama’s senior adviser, Valerie Jarrett, wasn’t actually racist, let alone worthy of her show being canceled. Sure, it was a bad joke, but Roseanne says she didn’t even know Jarrett was black. Once again, Bill Maher comes to mind. In a tweet posted Wednesday, Elder noted that HBO’s liberal comedian Bill Maher, who is the host of the HBO talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher,” once suggested President Trump is “the spawn of his mother having s*x with an orangutan.” And he’s called Trump an ape many times.

In fact, during Maher’s opening monologue yesterday, he said that he had to do another segment of “Explaining Jokes to Idiots” and pointed out that there were four “key facts” that made his ape jokes different than Barr’s tweet. “One, Trump is an orangutan,” Maher snarked. “Two, white people have not been subjected to a racist trope comparing them to apes for hundreds of years.” Maher’s third explanation was that his joke was in response to Trump’s 2013 accusations that President Obama was not born in America and called for the release of the president’s birth certificate. Maher offered Trump $5 million to provide his own birth certificate, which he did. Maher wouldn’t pay up and Trump sued him for it. “And four, I’ve already been fired by ABC,” Maher said, referring to his “Politically Incorrect” program, which aired from 1993 to 2002.

HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” remains on the air despite political jokes that are vilely aimed at President Trump and his daughter Ivanka. “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” a late-night TBS show whose host who described the President’s daughter as a “feckless c**t” this week is also still on the air. MSNBC’s Joy Reid who pushed 9/11 as a government conspiracy, homophobic slurs and a wide range of other horrid behavior, apologized and is also still on the air. But Roseanne Barr makes an ill-considered joke that Maher has already made and she is fired and shunned for it after she apologizes. The only difference here is that Roseanne went after someone on the left. “@therealroseanne makes the same joke about Obama aide Valerie Jarrett–an

New Explosive Report Proves Obama’s FBI BROKE PROTOCOL by SPYING on Trump

A new bombshell report from The Hill’s investigative journalist John Solomon details the extensive lengths Obama’s FBI went to in spying on Trump and his 2016 campaign.

According to the report, Obama’s FBI had “foreign figures” contact Trump campaign officials in Great Britain before an official investigation was even declared, which is highly against protocol.
The bridge to the Russia investigation wasn’t erected in Moscow during the summer of the 2016 election.

It originated earlier, 1,700 miles away in London, where foreign figures contacted Trump campaign advisers and provided the FBI with hearsay allegations of Trump-Russia collusion, bureau documents and interviews of government insiders reveal. These contacts in spring 2016 — some from trusted intelligence sources, others from Hillary Clinton supporters — occurred well before FBI headquarters authorized an official counterintelligence investigation on July 31, 2016.
The new timeline makes one wonder: Did the FBI follow its rules governing informants?

Here’s what a congressman and an intelligence expert think.

“The revelation of purposeful contact initiated by alleged confidential human sources prior to any FBI investigation is troublesome,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), an ally of President Trump and chairman of a House subcommittee that’s taking an increasingly aggressive oversight role in the scandal, told me. “This new information begs the questions: Who were the informants working for, who were they reporting to and why has the [Department of Justice] and FBI gone to such great lengths to hide these contacts?”

Kevin Brock agrees that Congress has legitimate questions. The retired FBI assistant director for intelligence supervised the rewriting of bureau rules governing sources, under then-director Robert Mueller a decade ago. Those rules forbid the FBI from directing a human source to target an American until a formally predicated investigative file is opened.

Brock sees oddities in how the Russia case began. “These types of investigations aren’t normally run by assistant directors and deputy directors at headquarters,” he told me. “All that happens normally in a field office, but that isn’t the case here and so it becomes a red flag. Congress would have legitimate oversight interests in the conditions and timing of the targeting of a confidential human source against a U.S. person.”

Other congressional and law enforcement sources express similar concerns, heightened by FBI communications suggesting political pressures around the time the probe officially opened.

“We’re not going to withstand the pressure soon,” FBI lawyer Lisa Page texted fellow agent Peter Strzok on Aug. 3, 2016, days after Strzok opened the official probe and returned from a trip to London. At the time, they were dealing with simultaneous challenges: the wrap-up of the Hillary Clinton email scandal and the start of the Russia-Trump probe.
Over several days, they exchanged texts that appear to express fears of political meddling or leaking by the Obama White House, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the CIA.

“This is MUCH more tasty for one of those DOJ aholes to leak,” Strzok wrote as the two FBI colleagues — then having an affair, the bureau later told Congress — debated how long they could delay a CIA-FBI meeting so as to “not play into the agency’s BS game.”

They voiced alarm when an FBI colleague — “Liz” — suggested the Obama White House was about to hijack the investigation. “Went well, best we could have expected,” Strzok texted Page after an Aug. 5, 2016, meeting. “Other than Liz quote ‘the White House is running this.’ ” Page then texted to assure Strzok of a paper trail showing the FBI in charge: “We got emails that say otherwise.”

The next day, they went into further detail about their White House concerns. “So maybe not the best national security president, but a genuinely good and decent human being,” Page texted Strzok, referencing former President Obama. Strzok replied: “Yeah, I like him. Just not a fan of the weakness globally. Was thinking about what the administration will be willing to do re Russia.”

In the end, the FBI secretly investigated the Trump campaign for months, engaging with other agencies on a more limited inquiry of Russian efforts to hack Clinton’s campaign.

The summer 2016 text messages are bookends to a series of London contacts that pre-date the official opening of the investigation and produced the evidence the FBI used that fall to justify its court-ordered surveillance of presidential campaign figures

Young Trump Supporter Just Scored HUGE Court Victory Over School Who Suspended Him

A young Oregon teen who wore a “pro-Trump/pro-border wall” T=shirt to school and was subsequently suspended, just scored a huge victory in court.

The teen, who was unfairly persecuted for being a Trump supporter and expressing his First Amendment rights, decided to fight back and take his case to court, where a federal judge ruled in his favor, by issuing a restraining order against the school, preventing them from saying anything about his “border wall” T-shirt.On Tuesday, a federal judge issued a temporary restraining order against Liberty High School, preventing the school from enforcing a ban on one student’s pro-Trump shirt that reads, “Donald J. Trump Border Wall Construction Co.”

The student, 18-year-old Addison Barnes, sued the school district, claiming it violated the First Amendment after it suspended him for revealing the shirt. The shirt featured President Donald Trump’s warning that the southern border wall “just got ten feet taller.”

Vice Principal Amanda Ryan-Fear reportedly told Barnes that he had to cover the shirt which, she said, offended at least one student and teacher at the high school. He initially complied but later revealed his shirt, prompting the school to suspend him.

“I thought to myself, ‘You know this isn’t right, this is my First Amendment right to be able to wear this shirt,’” Barnes reportedly said.

Watch Barnes speak about the issue below:
“I should be able to wear the shirt and express my beliefs just as other students should be able to express their views that I may disagree with.”

Barnes, who only has days left as a senior at the school, will now be able to wear the shirt before he graduates, according to The Oregonian.

“There’s not enough to go on here to show that sort of legitimate concern justifying censorship of this core political speech,” Judge Michael W. Mosman said.
Barnes’ attorney argued that his shirt didn’t contain a “disruptive” message and therefore didn’t fall under the school’s policy against those types of phrases.

The school district complained that Barnes’ shirt would make students, 33 percent of which were hispanic, feel insecure.

“This particular school district has a population that is one-third Hispanic,” attorney Peter Mersereau said. In response, Mosman asked: “So First Amendment protections vary from high school to high school?”

BREAKING: Roseanne Just Got Incredible News Days After Show Was Canceled – Dems Furious!

BREAKING: Roseanne Just Got Incredible News Days After Show Was Canceled – Dems Furious!

source: https://goo.gl/NRJ8Yg
The last three days have been a wild ride for Roseanne Barr and America in general. She created a fiery whirlwind of people being upset on social media that is still raging. Roseanne was fired for a tweet she made against Valerie Jarrett that is considered racist. ABC canned her by the end of the day, even though Barr apologized and begged they not cancel her show. A massive boycott of ABC is now underway and more than 100,000 people have signed a petition for a different network to pick up her show.

The petition was posted with an initial goal of 50,000 signatures, but in just over 48 hours, they more than doubled that amount. In fact, they are closing in on 110,000 signatures as I write this. Considering the firestorm others have created out there with vile tweets such as Joy Reid and Samantha Bee, it is not far-fetched to think that some other network like Fox would pick the show up. It broke all the records for viewership and would be a money maker. But so far, none have suggested it.

If ABC doesn’t want the show in one form or another, then some other network should, because Roseanne’s audience is still screaming for more. It appeals to the common man and was one of the few on television that Americans can actually relate to anymore. “Last Man Standing” with Tim Allen was picked up by Fox and will start their seventh season this fall after being axed by ABC. The show was too conservative for the network even though it was their second biggest draw. But after fans overwhelmingly demanded it is brought back, Fox stepped up and the show will once again be a huge hit and an even bigger money maker. One wonders if Fox is tempted by Roseanne as well.

You don’t have to condone what Roseanne said to watch the show or to see it for the hit it is. Both Joy Reid and Samantha Bee apologized for saying things equally as bad and they were forgiven. Perhaps Roseanne should be afforded the same grace. Americans are disgusted by the double standard they see playing out with these TV personalities. The only difference Between Roseanne and Reid and Bee, is Roseanne went after Obama’s consigliere Valerie Jarrett. Reid went after many on both sides and Bee went after Ivanka and President Trump. So, the message being sent is that it’s okay to savage those on one side, but not the other.

It was pointed out: “We’re not necessarily defending Roseanne’s comments, but we ARE pointing out a disgusting double standard. ABC allows the ladies of ‘The View’ to call Christians “mentally ill”, but they fired Roseanne at the first sign of controversy. Not only that, but ABC also employs Jimmy Kimmel, who openly mocks our First Lady’s accent. Somehow, the liberals on the network never suffer the consequences, but CONSERVATIVES DO (See, Tim Allen).”

TBS has removed Samantha Bee’s entire offensive “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’s” episode, which featured comments by the host who called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c**t,” according to The Wrap. But she still has a job. Joy Reid apologized over and over today, yet she still has a show at MSNBC. If ABC wants to commit media s*****e let them, but the witch hunt over free speech needs to end. You don’t have to like what someone says. But if they do it on their own time, they should get a warning, not tanked for it. Unless they really aren’t sorry and will just do it again like Samantha Bee does.
Immediately after apologizing to Ivanka, she went to an awards ceremony honoring her and said that one word shouldn’t make everyone freak out. That the subject was Trump and illegal immigration and that is what should be focused on. Sorry, but not sorry was the message there.

Joy Reid’s show on MSNBC may not last as old hateful blog posts just keep on surfacing. At first she said she was hacked and when that didn’t work she sort of admitted doing them. But even MSNBC has limits on all this bad publicity. As for Samantha Bee, she may get sacked for her ratings and not her lousy language. Her viewership over the last year has cratered. I actually think she thought going after Ivanka this way would get her more attention. It did, just not the kind she wanted.

If just one petition within a couple of days can get over 100,000 signatures to bring Roseanne back, then I’ll bet you some network out there is considering it. Here are some of the comments in support of bringing Roseanne back:
