On May 30, 2018, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ashley Bean (Age 35) of rural Waverly for felony child abuse after she turned herself in at the Adult Detention Facility. The arrest stemmed from an investigation that began five months earlier that involved her being “highly intoxicated” when she suffocated her 3-week-old who was sleeping in the same bed, deputies said this week.

On December 17, 2017, at approximately 8:07 AM sheriff’s deputies, Waverly Rural Fire, and Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to Bean’s residence at 12511 Waverly Rd. on a report of a three-week-old infant who was not breathing.

Upon arrival, deputies and medical personnel determined that the infant, Bean’s son, was pulseless and not breathing. Also present at the home were Bean and an adult acquaintance. The infant, who had no obvious signs of violence, was transported by ambulance to Bryan Medical Center West Campus, and then transferred to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE, where he died hours later despite life saving measures.

An autopsy was performed, and the cause of death of the infant was determined to be asphyxia due to combined suffocation and overlay.Following a lengthy investigation, sheriff’s investigators determined that Bean had become highly intoxicated during the hours immediately preceding the 911 call, fell asleep with her infant son in the same bed, and later awoke to find her son unresponsive. Based on interviews and evidence collected in this case, sheriff’s investigators believe that Bean knowingly and intentionally placed her infant son in a situation that endangered his life.

BREAKING – A Riverside man who sold a powerful synthetic opioid very similar to fentanyl to a friend – who then suffered a fatal overdose from the drug – was sentenced today to 312 months in federal prison.

Adam Scott Caward, 33, received the 26-year sentence from United States District Judge John A. Kronstadt after admitting that he sold and possessed acetyl fentanyl.

Caward pleaded guilty on November 30 to distribution of acetyl fentanyl resulting in death, and possession with the intent to distribute acetyl fentanyl.

The federal investigation into Caward began in June 2017, when U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted a package sent to Caward from China. The shipment contained a compound known as 4-FIBF, which is another analogue of fentanyl – meaning that the narcotic is chemically similar to fentanyl and designed to cause an effect similar to the powerful synthetic opioid.

A subsequent investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration, in cooperation with the Riverside Police Department, led to the discovery of controlled substances at Caward’s Riverside home in July. The investigation linked Caward to other fentanyl analogues and synthetic opioids that he possessed nine months earlier at his then-residence in Chino Hills.

According to court documents, Caward exchanged a series of text messages with a friend on November 7 and 8, 2016, which culminated in Caward selling his friend a purple powder containing acetyl fentanyl. Within hours of purchasing the narcotic from Caward, the friend died of acute acetyl fentanyl intoxication.

On November 16, 2016, the Riverside Police Department executed a state court search warrant on Caward’s Chino Hills residence, where they found a number of controlled substances, including fentanyl analogues. Among the drugs that Caward possessed was approximately 19.5 grams of the same purple powder containing acetyl fentanyl that was sold to the friend.

One week prior to his death, the friend had purchased acetyl fentanyl from Caward and suffered an overdose while driving, which resulted in a serious car accident that injured the friend and several people in another vehicle, according to prosecutors.

The investigation determined that Caward continued to use the dark web to contact Chinese suppliers and order more fentanyl analogues after the death of his friend.

During today’s sentencing hearing, prosecutors noted that the 2016 overdose death was not the first fatality linked to narcotics sold by Caward. In August 2015, Caward sold a fentanyl analogue to another man, who died of a drug overdose, prosecutors argued.

“Caward had no regard for human life and his conduct caused misery and death,” said United States Attorney Nick Hanna. “Synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl from China, are extremely dangerous and this sentence should send a message to drug dealers that we will seek to hold them responsible for the deaths caused by their criminal behavior.”

Because the narcotics involved in the distribution offense resulted in death, Caward faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Khaldoun Shobaki of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Section.

Samantha Bee “Apologized,” But Then She Was Overheard Behind Closed Doors

While liberals still fume over Roseanne’s misguided tweet, they seem pretty calm about what “comedian” Samantha Bee said about Ivanka Trump.

The hard-left feminist and host of her own show recorded a clip calling the president’s daughter a vile slur. Not very feminist of her, to attack a smart, successful, female leader. While Roseanne’s tweet was a poor-conceived, late night comment, Bee’s slur was scripted, filmed, edited, approved by Standards, and put on the air. So who’s the greater sin?

The left would have been happy with Bee’s insult, as they are with how they all mistreat conservatives. Yet public outcry forced the TV host to issue an apology. I’m sure that was sincere.

But behind closed doors, as the self-congratulatory industry gave one of their own an award, Bee admitted she was not sorry at all.

In fact, she vowed to continue to disgrace our country with her terrible politics.

Embattled TBS late-night host Samantha Bee took the stage to accept a Television Academy Honors award Thursday night and defended calling White House advisor Ivanka Trump a “cunt,” lashed out at the Trump administration “treating people legally seeking asylum as criminals,” and thanked her bosses at Turner Broadcasting for having her back.

“I can tell you, as long as we have breath in our bodies and 21 minutes of airtime once a week, repeats on Saturdays, that we as a show will never stop shouting [about] the inhumanities of this world from the rooftops and striving to make it a better place” said Bee. “But in a comedy way.”

Flanked by her writers and producers, Bee praised her staff who had been honor by the Television Academy for covering the Time’s Up and #MeToo movements.

More like covering up the assaults exposed by the #MeToo movement. Right, Bee? Because we all know you hypocrites in Hollywood have been looking the other way for decades. As men like Harvey Weinstein raped and attacked women.

Thanks to the left, a long-standing tradition in our country has been ruined. Late night comedy was once a wonderful relief to millions of viewers. They’d tune in to greats like Johnny Carson and Steve Allen to entertain them with light humor. It helped them forget the day and ease into a good night’s rest.

Today? Late night TV is a cesspool for—literally—communist propaganda. Losers like Stephen Colbert bash the President of the United States while praising lunatics like Karl Marx.

Perhaps the worst—and least funny—is Samantha Bee, who most-likely got her job because she’s a woman. Her unfunny and incredibly divisive show does nothing but slander conservatives, American values, and mostly men.

It comes as no surprise that a hateful woman like that would insult someone like Ivanka Trump. Cowards are always threatened by people who are doing more than they are. Or ever can. Ivanka Trump is doing more for women in American than Bee ever will. Not only that, she is a glamorous, attractive role model for the millions of young girls in this country.

Samantha Bee? She’s an example of what a girl should not grow up into. At all. Even a little bit.

Something tells me that, despite the politics of TBS, her show won’t be on for much longer.
