VICTORY: Soros Forced Out of Local San Diego Election

If you want to talk about collusion and obstruction, we should be discussing George Soros and his foreign money, influence and power that he wields in our local elections.

Most people don’t realize how many elections Soros has his hands and his money in.
He enjoys meddling in local state elections, like San Diego’s district attorney race, which he bankrolled with hundred of thousands of dollars.

Thankfully in this case, Soros was pushed out, after one ad for radical leftist candidate Geneviéve Jones-Wright was pulled for being one big fat lie.
A political action committee launched and bankrolled by liberal billionaire George Soros is pulling out of San Diego’s district attorney race.

The California Justice & Public Safety PAC, which was established by Soros to support Geneviéve Jones-Wright, a far-left public defender, recently pulled an advertisement depicting District Attorney Summer Stephan as having a backlog of rape kits that needed to be tested. The ad came under fire for being false and misleading.

Now, the PAC is leaving the race entirely. Soros’s PAC has cancelled all future advertisements in support of Jones-Wright, according to television station managers in the region.

Soros has spent hundreds of thousands on television advertisements, digital advertisements, and campaign literature and mailings in support of Jones-Wright after initially depositing $1.5 million into the California Justice & Public Safety PAC, the Washington Free Beacon previously reported.

Jones-Wright appeared at a secretive gathering held by the Democracy Alliance, a dark money donor network that was co-founded by Soros, last November to sit on a panel discussion on ramping up funding in district attorney races during the 2018 election cycle.

Jones-Wright, who told the Free Beacon in early May that she was “thrilled” to have the support of Soros, now has been dealt a major blow with the withdrawal of all upcoming media spots.

Other progressive groups such as the Real Justice PAC, which was cofounded by Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King and former staffers to Bernie Sanders’s 2016 presidential campaign, have also thrown support behind Jones-Wright.
Jones-Wright’s campaign did not return a request for comment by press time.

Soros, who has been quietly funding district attorney races across the country in recent years, normally sees his preferred candidate win the race. He has previously funded progressive district attorney candidates in Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Texas, and New Mexico, among other states.

The San Diego County district attorney election will take place on June 5.

Valerie Jarrett is Now Using Roseanne’s Tweet to Her Advantage

Democrats never let a “scandal” go to waste.

Whether it be a school shooting or a “mean” tweet, the Democrats cash in whenever and wherever they can.
That’s precisely what former top Obama aide Valerie Jarrett is doing, now that she’s “healed” from Roseanne’s tweet.

She’s cashing in on the former “Roseanne” stars tweet in order to drum up votes.
Valerie Jarrett’s “teaching moment” is now apparently also a political-organizing moment on behalf of her former boss – framed in a call for civility.

Just days ago, Jarrett — a former senior adviser to President Barack Obama — was suddenly and unceremoniously pulled into the media’s glare because of a racist tweet aimed at her by now-fired ABC sitcom star Roseanne Barr.

Rather than respond to Barr in kind, Jarrett took the high road.

“I think we have to turn it into a teaching moment,” Jarrett said in a television interview, regarding Barr’s tweet. “I’m fine. I’m worried about all the people out there who don’t have a circle of friends and followers who come right to their defense.”

Barr apologized for the tweet, and has since seen her rebooted “Roseanne” comedy series canceled and perhaps become a permanent Hollywood pariah.

Jarrett, on the other hand, apparently saw a political opportunity.

Her name now appears at the bottom of a please-pledge-to-vote email distributed by Organizing for Action, Obama’s nonprofit political organization.

“There are days when we’re reminded so clearly that we have not yet reached our destination, and that is why we have to work every day to treat our fellow citizens with dignity and civility,” Jarrett’s email says, without mentioning Barr.

The message quickly pivots to politics.

“The culture that we’re creating and the interactions we have with our fellow citizens each day,” Jarrett writes, “are influenced by those who we elect to represent us.

“When we elect people that continually demean others [Jarrett’s italics] — those of another race, or religion, or gender, or identity, or sexual orientation — and reach for an America in the past instead of one in the future, the results hurt us all,” she writes.

Again, Jarrett does not mention any names.

At the end of the email comes the so-called “Big Ask.”

“Say you’ll vote in 2018,” Jarrett writes.

At the bottom of the message there’s an “I will vote” click box. When it’s clicked on, it leads to a page that requests the reader’s email address and ZIP code, implying future messages from Organizing for Action.

“Commit to vote, right now,” the sign-up box says.

What commitments might be requested later are not mentioned.

President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani is not messing around.

The ballsy former New York city Mayor has just issued a final warning to Mueller, saying if he attempts to subpoena President Trump, he will take him to court.
Rudy Giuliani on Saturday threatened to take special counsel Robert Mueller to court if he attempts to issue a subpoena against President Trump.

“If Mueller tries to subpoena us, we’re going to court,” Giuliani said in an interview with ABC News. Giuliani, a former New York City mayor, joined Trump’s legal team in April.

Giuliani’s warning arrived just hours after The New York Times revealed that Trump’s lawyers sent Mueller a 20-page letter in January arguing that Trump couldn’t obstruct justice because he has unfettered authority over all federal investigations.

The confidential letter obtained by the Times argues that the Constitution gives the president the broad authority to, “if he wished, terminate the inquiry, or even exercise his power to pardon.”

Though the letter predates Giuliani’s involvement with Trump’s legal team, Giuliani verified its contents to ABC News, adding that the legal strategy the letter outlines still stands.

The Times was the first to report on the existence of the letter, although the president appeared to foreshadow the newspaper’s scoop minutes before it was published on Saturday. Trump questioned whether Mueller’s office or the Justice Department had leaked his legal team’s letter to the media.

“There was No Collusion with Russia (except by the Democrats),” Trump tweeted shortly before the Times story was published.

“When will this very expensive Witch Hunt Hoax ever end? So bad for our Country. Is the Special Counsel/Justice Department leaking my lawyers letters to the Fake News Media? Should be looking at Dems corruption instead?”

Like Trump, Giuliani also accused the special counsel of leaking the memo, telling ABC News that Mueller should have released a statement condemning the Times’s report and suggesting the special counsel should investigate his team in response to the letter’s publication.

FLORIDA – Vicente Adolfo Solano, 53, a citizen of Honduras residing in Miami, was sentenced to 210 months in prison, to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release, for attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization, after planning to detonate an explosive device at a Miami mall. Solano pleaded guilty on March 14.

Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers, U.S. Attorney Benjamin G. Greenberg for the Southern District of Florida, and Special Agent in Charge Robert F. Lasky of the FBI’s Miami Field Office made the announcement after sentencing by U.S. District Judge Paul C. Huck.

“The efforts of the dedicated women and men of the FBI and the South Florida Joint Terrorism Task Force have kept the people of Miami safe from this ISIS supporter and ensured Solano will go to prison,” said Assistant Attorney General Demers. “I am grateful for our law enforcement partners, and I applaud our prosecutors for today’s successful outcome and the message it sends: we will not tolerate threats to our country or its people.”

“Any individual who plots to support a foreign terrorist organization puts our local community at risk and this threat remains a top priority for our U.S. Attorney’s Office and our law enforcement partners,” stated U.S. Attorney Greenberg. “Today’s sentence speaks to those who harbor extremist ideals – your terroristic agenda will be thwarted and your punishment of years in prison will be your only lasting legacy.”

“Solano dreamed of detonating an explosive device in a crowded Miami area mall, but he was denied his terroristic aspirations by the outstanding work and team effort of the South Florida Joint Terrorism Task Force,” said Special Agent in Charge Lasky. “This is a job well done by a group of professionals who must remain eternally vigilant.”
According to the stipulated factual basis filed with the Court, in early 2017, Solano told an individual, who later became a Confidential Human Source (CHS) for the government, that he was upset with the United States and wanted to conduct an attack in Miami. Later, Solano told this CHS that he wanted to join ISIS.

Solano planned to place and detonate an explosive device in a crowded area of a popular Miami mall. Solano discussed his plot with the CHS and two undercover FBI employees. According to the complaint, Solano provided three videos to the CHS, in which Solano makes pro-ISIS statements and expresses anti-U.S. sentiments. Just prior to his arrest, Solano took possession of what he believed was an explosive device, took steps to arm it, and walked toward a mall entrance in order to carry out his attack. Unbeknownst to Solano, the device was inert and did not pose a risk to the public. Solano was taken into custody prior to entering the Mall.

Judge Huck imposed a sentence below the statutory maximum recommended by the advisory sentencing guidelines and advocated by the government, noting that the defendant is currently in removal proceedings and will be returned to his native country of Honduras following his prison term. Solano had been residing in the United States under Temporary Protected Status. His protected status has since been revoked.

Mr. Demers and Mr. Greenberg commended the investigative efforts of the FBI and the South Florida Joint Terrorism Task Force. This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Karen E. Gilbert for the Southern District of Florida and Trial Attorney Jolie Zimmerman of the National Security Division’s Counterterrorism Section.
