It’s no secret that major cities around the country are cesspools of criminal activity and violence. And the problem is only go to get worse according Bob Lindsey, a 40-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department and candidate for the top law enforcement job in the county.

With the election for Sheriff just 24 hours away (June 5 is election day), over 90% of deputies surveyed in the department say he’s the only one who can effectively destroy the top-down control that has infested the Sheriff’s Office, which in recent years has spent more time attacking law enforcement personnel than it has going after violent MS-13 gang members.

The result, as Lindsey notes in the following interview with SGT Report, is significantly higher violent crime that has empowered criminals to act ever more brazenly.

What’s worse is that the current Sheriff says crime is down, a claim that can be completely destroyed by the actual statistics:

What he has done is he has taken a position that crime is down here in Los Angeles County… We can look all around us and we can see that property crimes have gone through the ceiling… A simple statistic, because he can’t hide the FBI statistics… The FBI just reported that murders, homicides here in Los Angeles County since last year are up 56%… In one area that we patrol murders are up 900%… There is out of control crime here.

…Here’s where we are here in California… If you get sentenced to a year in L.A. County Jail, you actually only get 10 days… so if you get sentenced to six months, you do one day… criminals here in L.A. County realize that if you commit a crime you don’t do the time.

The Trump effect can be felt all over the world.

After decades of failed globalism has eroded and ruined countries, like Italy, and the United State, patriotic citizens who want to preserve their countries and their culture are rising up.
Nowhere is that sentiment more prevalent than in Italy, where the new Interior Minister just told migrants that the “free ride was over” and to “pack their bags.”

Migrants living in Italy have been advised to start packing as the country’s new populist leaders repeated promises to boot them out of the country.

At a rally in northern Italy, new Interior Minister and League leader, Matteo Salvini, warned: ‘The good times for illegals are over – get ready to pack your bags.’

Salvini’s appointment was described as a ‘dream’ by one supporter, while another said on the politician’s Facebook page that the new political lineup ‘breathe a different air’.

‘Around there is a festive air, you can see [it] in the looks of Italians who have confidence in this government. This is a government with the right people in the right places.’

Earlier today, Salvini joined Premier Giuseppe Conte and the rest of the newly sworn-in Cabinet to view the Republic Day parade in Rome.

Italy’s aeronautic acrobatic squad flew low and loud over downtown Rome trailing smoke in the red, white and green of the Italian flag.

The national pride on display is a feature of every Republic Day, but it took on a particular significance this year after Italy on Friday ended three months of political and financial turmoil and swore in a government whose populist and eurosceptic leanings have alarmed Europe.

Italy’s new populist leaders commemorated the founding of the Italian republic by attending the pomp-filled military parade – and then promised to get to work creating jobs and expelling migrants.
The pledge of mass deportations to come was a reminder that Italy has a staunchly anti-immigrant, right-wing party in its governing coalition, and that the European Union will face a whole new partner governing its fourth-largest economy.

Conte, a law professor plucked from relative obscurity to head an unlikely governing alliance of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement and League, said the celebrations transcended all the tensions of recent days.

‘It’s the celebration for all of us, of our republic,’ he said.

Conte’s Cabinet was sworn in after a last-minute deal averted the threat of a new election that could have turned into a referendum on whether Italy stayed with the shared European euro currency.

The political stability relieved financial markets on Friday, but Italy’s European neighbours continued to express concerns about the eurosceptic bent and the heavy spending agenda of Italy’s new government.

Italy is destroying itself – and dragging down Europe with it,’ read the headline of Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine, the cover of which featured a forkful of spaghetti with one dangling strand tied up as a noose.

While the magazine is known for such provocations, another Spiegel article last week drew an official protest from Italy’s ambassador to Germany.

On Saturday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel phoned Conte and invited him to visit soon. Merkel’s office said both leaders emphasised the importance of continued close bilateral cooperation.

Former president Bill Clinton has spoken out about what happened during his affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Among other things, Clinton says Lewinsky is not owed an apology from him and he “did the right thing.”

As reported by CNN, Speaking to Today, Clinton defended his decision to remain in office following the scandal. “A lot of the facts have been conveniently omitted to make the story work, I think partly because they’re frustrated that they got all these serious allegations against the current occupant of the Oval Office and his voters don’t seem to care,” Clinton said, pointing to a series of sexual misconduct allegations against current President Donald Trump, who has denied them. “I think I did the right thing. I defended the Constitution.”

In an essay for Vanity Fair published earlier this year, Lewinsky said she was questioning the narrative surrounding the affair, which played a central role in Clinton’s eventual impeachment. “Now, at 44, I’m beginning (just beginning) to consider the implications of power differentials that were so vast between a president and a White House intern,” she wrote. “I’m beginning to entertain the notion that in such a circumstance the idea of consent might well be rendered moot.”

When asked if he owed Lewinsky an apology, President Clinton told NBC‘s Craig Melvin, “No, I do not — I have never talked to her. But I did say publicly on more than one occasion that I was sorry. That’s very different. The apology was public.” Although some may not have taken what Clinton said as an apology, he did publicly acknowledge at the National Prayer Breakfast in 1998 that he had “sinned.”

“I don’t think there is a fancy way to say that I have sinned. It is important to me that everybody who has been hurt know that the sorrow I feel is genuine — first and most important, my family, also my friends, my staff, my Cabinet, Monica Lewinsky and her family, and the American people.”

CNN Spreads Nasty Rumor About Melania, So FLOTUS Shuts Them Up For Good

CNN has been spreading a nasty rumor about First Lady Melania Trump which isn’t based on any sort of fact and which isn’t even remotely true. Sadly, this is what passes for “journalism” these days. However, you’ll be happy to know that Melania just shut her haters up for good, silencing the liberal mainstream media.

CNN is officially moving into conspiracy theory territory when it comes to the network’s coverage of the “disappearance” of Melania Trump. Any rational observer would attribute Melania’s recent hiatus from the public eye to the emergency kidney surgery she underwent in mid-May. However, the so-called “journalists” over at CNN believe that the fact that Melania is resting up must mean that there is something nefarious going on.

On May 14, 2018 First Lady Melania Trump underwent kidney surgery at Walter Reed Medical Medical Center in Washington D.C.

“This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications,” her spokesperson released in a statement at the time. “Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week. The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.”

While the First Lady’s condition was “benign,” it was serious. She spent nearly a week in the hospital recovering.

“The First Lady returned home to the White House this morning. She is resting comfortably and remains in high spirits. Our office has received thousands of calls and emails wishing Mrs. Trump well, and we thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out,” her spokesperson said. [Source: Townhall]

Faux-conservative pundit David Frum speculated that perhaps President Trump has been physically abusing his wife, insinuating that this is what put her in the hospital, not an emergency kidney surgery.
“Suppose President Trump punched the First Lady in the White House (federal property = federal jurisdiction), then ordered the Secret Service to conceal the assault,” Frum tweeted. “POTUS has Article II authority over Secret Service. Is that obstruction? Under Sekulow/Dowd, apparently NO.”

Of course, the usual crazies on Twitter agreed with this bogus theory. One woman even claimed that when Melania told an audience at a rally that “Donald hits back hard,” it was actually a Freudian slip in which she had admitted her own abuse at his hands.

“As someone who is a survivor of abuse, was thinking this but hoping I was wrong,” tweeted a woman using the handle Donna Snowflake. “Either @FLOTUS can’t be seen publicly because of only 2 things that I can conclude 1. Plastic surgery 2. Predator beat her. I’m truly hoping it’s 1. I can absolutely see him physically harming her.”
“Being an abuse survivor, I can tell (so can you) that she is an abused wife,” echoed another Twitter user. “Emotional for sure, and probably physical as well. He is incapable of self control. Remember, she said, ‘Doald [sic] hits back hard.’”

Of course, if any of that were even remotely true, we’d already know about it. The doctors and nurses who treated Melania would’ve recognized the evidence of physical abuse and leaked it to the press. That would’ve been the biggest story of the year. But no one leaked any information to the press because it didn’t happen. That doesn’t seem to matter to anyone, though, least of all the host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” Brian Stelter, who has also become a Melania-truther:

Melania Trump has officially gotten the last laugh, though, because Stetler neglected to doublecheck when she had been last seen. As it turns out, a very “reliable source” saw Melania in the West Wing of the White House just last week. As it turns out, she hasn’t “disappeared” after all. If a tree falls in the woods, but CNN didn’t see it happen, it still fell.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time that CNN neglected to do the proper amount of fact-checking before running with a story as irresponsible as this one. In fact, their sloppiness is becoming so commonplace that you’re better off assuming the opposite of what they report is true. How pathetic.
