Whenever a president leaves the White House for the very last time, they always leave their predecessor a handwritten letter as a token of respect and reconciliation. It was reported by CNN that the letter Barack Obama left was no different.

Obama’s letter went like this:

“Congratulations on a remarkable run. Millions have placed their hopes in you, and all of us, regardless of party, should hope for expanded prosperity and security during your tenure.

This is a unique office, without a clear blueprint for success, so I don’t know that any advice from me will be particularly helpful. Still, let me offer a few reflections from the past 8 years.
First, we’ve both been blessed, in different ways, with great good fortune. Not everyone is so lucky. It’s up to us to do everything we can (to) build more ladders of success for every child and family that’s willing to work hard.

Second, American leadership in this world really is indispensable. It’s up to us, through action and example, to sustain the international order that’s expanded steadily since the end of the Cold War, and upon which our own wealth and safety depend.

Third, we are just temporary occupants of this office. That makes us guardians of those democratic institutions and traditions — like rule of law, separation of powers, equal protection and civil liberties — that our forebears fought and bled for. Regardless of the push and pull of daily politics, it’s up to us to leave those instruments of our democracy at least as strong as we found them.

And finally, take time, in the rush of events and responsibilities, for friends and family. They’ll get you through the inevitable rough patches.

The letter he left is nothing like the way he and his associates have acted in this past year and a half of President Trump’s tenure. The words on that letter reveal what can be considered a conciliatory outgoing commander in chief with four items of advice for his successor.

Written out longhand on White House stationery and slipped into the top drawer of the Resolute Desk, the 275-word letter captures an outgoing president eager to instill in Trump the vast responsibilities and uncertain parameters of the job. Responsibilities which most of us can now freely say Obama failed miserably at.

Let’s break down the letter.

First, he explains all the ways they are blessed to be presidents, Although in Obama’s case it turned out to be more than just a blessing since his net worth grew by leaps and bounds.

Second, he tries to explain to Trump how important it is to remain as world leaders, maybe he is talking about how he turned Iran into a superpower?

Third, he tries to explain how important it is for the president to be the guardians of those democratic institutions and traditions, such as the rule of law, separation of powers, equal protection and civil liberties. Some compare this to the way Obama possibly corrupted the FBI and had them spying on a private citizen?

CNN continued:

Obama, when writing the letter, didn’t disclose the content even to his closest aides. Since then, however, Trump has shown the letter to visitors in the Oval Office or his private White House residence. CNN obtained a copy from someone Trump showed it to.

Obama reminds Trump, a billionaire businessman, that they’ve both been “blessed, in different ways, with great good fortune.”
“Not everyone is so lucky,” Obama said. “It’s up to us to do everything we can (to) build more ladders of success for every child and family that’s willing to work hard.”
He advises Trump that American leadership is “indispensable” and encourages him “through action and example” to sustain post-Cold War international order.

Earlier today ABC News was handed a rough draft of a report that reveals that the disgraced former FBI Director James Comey went rogue and actively defied authority while he was at the FBI. And to make matters even worse for the Obama Administration that wasn’t the only leak today. A second leak also confirmed that Obama’s Attorney General Loretta “Airport Tarmac” Lynch also wanted to hide the Hillary Clinton crimes by hiding the emails found on Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner’s laptop before the 2016 election so Hillary could win.

ABC News reported:

“The draft of Horowitz’s wide-ranging report specifically called out Comey for ignoring objections from the Justice Department when he disclosed in a letter to Congress just days before the 2016 presidential election that FBI agents had reopened the Clinton probe, according to sources. Clinton has said that letter doomed her campaign.

Before Comey sent the letter to Congress, at least one senior Justice Department official told the FBI that publicizing the bombshell move so close to an election would violate longstanding department policy, and it would ignore federal guidelines prohibiting the disclosure of information related to an ongoing investigation, ABC News was told.

In an interview in April, ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos asked Comey: “If Attorney General Lynch had ordered you not to send the letter, would you have sent it?”

“No,” Comey responded. “I believe in the chain of command.”

But in backing Trump’s ultimate decision to fire Comey last year, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein slammed Comey’s letter to Congress and said it “was wrong” for Comey “to usurp the Attorney General’s authority” when he announced in July 2016 that the FBI would not be filing charges against Clinton or her aides.

“It is not the function of the Director to make such an announcement,” Rosenstein said in a letter to Trump recommending Comey be fired. “At most, the Director should have said the FBI had completed its investigation and presented its findings to federal prosecutors.”

Horowitz’s draft report cited Comey for failing to consult with Lynch and other senior Justice Department officials before making his announcement on national TV. While saying there was no “clear evidence” that Clinton “intended to violate” the law, Comey insisted the former secretary of state was “extremely careless” in her “handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

“I have not coordinated or reviewed this statement in any way with the Department of Justice or any other part of the government. They do not know what I am about to say,” Comey said before cameras on July 5, 2016.

By then, Lynch had taken the unusual step of publicly declaring she would accept the FBI’s recommendations in the case, after an impromptu meeting with former president Bill Clinton sparked questions about her impartiality.

Comey has defended his decisions as director, insisting he was trying to protect the FBI from even further criticism and “didn’t see that I had a choice.”

“The honest answer is I screwed up a couple of things, but … I think given what I knew at the time, these were the decisions that were best calculated to preserve the values of the institutions,” Comey told ABC News. “I still think it was the right thing to do.”

More than a year ago, as lawmakers increasingly voiced concern over how the FBI and Justice Department handled matters surrounding the 2016 election, the inspector general’s office announced that it had launched an investigation into an array of allegations, including an allegation “that Department or FBI policies or procedures were not followed in connection with, or in actions leading up to or related to, the FBI Director’s public announcement on July 5, 2016.”

A week before the announcement, while the investigation into Hillary Clinton was still underway, a political firestorm erupted in Washington after Lynch happened to run into Bill Clinton in Arizona and briefly met with him inside a plane sitting on a tarmac there. Days later, with questions swirling over whether Bill Clinton tried to improperly influence the investigation into his wife, Lynch haphazardly announced that she would not recuse herself from the matter but would “fully expect to accept” whatever recommendation the FBI made.
Comey later called it a “tortured half-out, half-in approach.” And after such a “strange” announcement, “I decided I have to step away from her and show the American people the FBI’s work separately,” Comey told ABC News.

Philadelphia’s Democrat Mayor Jim Kenney once again faces a plethora of scrutiny and backlash from taxpayers after what he just did. Kenney was spotted dancing in joy after he learned that a judge voted in his favor, which effectively supports the sanctuary city status. Philadelphia residents spoke out in dismay on Facebook, lambasting the Democrat mayor for punishing Philly residents with a soda tax and now this dance that was insulting to people, particularly anyone who was a victim of a crime committed by an illegal immigrant. Now the upset voters in Philadelphia have something else to talk about, but it wasn’t just the Philadelphians who spoke out about Kenney and his immature dancing that placed American lives second to those who are illegal immigrants.

The White House spoke out about the celebratory dance and mentioned that it was ‘disgusting’ that he would do that. Kenney’s potentially embarrassing dance for immigration went viral and came directly after U.S. District Judge Michael Baylson ruled that Trump’s administration can’t cut funding for the city based on their sanctuary city status. It seemed to revolve specifically around policies that had to do with the cooperation of local police with federal immigration agents.
Fox News stated: “Video tweeted by Philadelphia Mayor James Kenney’s deputy chief of staff showed him dancing with chief of staff Jane Slusser.

“Sanctuary city, yeh!” a giddy Kenney sings before high-fiving Slusser.

The White House was not impressed and drew attention to the crimes committed by criminal illegal immigrants who have been protected by sanctuary policies.

“Many people in Philadelphia have been k****d, r***d or assaulted at the hands of criminal illegal aliens,” White House spokesman Hogan Gidley told Fox News. “It’s disgusting the mayor would dance in celebration of a lawless decision that allows these dangerous criminals to roam free in Philadelphia communities and prey on innocent families and children.”

“Democrats’ Sanctuary City policy is reckless, dangerous and protects criminals, not law abiding American citizens,” he added.

The city has said it will turn over illegal immigrants to Immigration and Customs Enforcement only if the agency has a warrant signed by a judge.”

President Trump supports legal immigration and wants to work towards lowering the amount of illegal immigration. Trump has wanted his administration to cut off funding for cities who chose to harbor illegal immigrants and refuse to work with federal laws that might say they have to cooperate with immigration authorities and rules/laws.

Philadelphia has a lot of immigrants, but there’s also a lot of illegal immigrants as well. Some of the illegal immigrants have violent criminal records in which children have been harmed.”
It doesn’t stop there. In 2016 a staff columnist for Philly.com, named Stu Bykofsky, wrote about a criminal illegal immigrant named “Ramon Aguirre-Ochoa, or maybe Juan Ramon Vasquez” who was charged with raping a child. The criminal illegal immigrant had multiple names, was arrested, released, and somehow in Philadelphia illegally. Bykofsky talks about the sanctuary city status that was reversed in 2014 by then Mayor Nutter. It was Mayor Jim Kenney who came along and turned Philadelphia BACK into a sanctuary city, thus putting some people in danger as the criminals would no longer be mentioned to the immigration agents (at least that’s what it seemed like).

Stu Bykofsky stated something somewhat shocking about a s*x offender illegal immigrant incident in Philadelphia:
“The multi-named defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. Should he be convicted on current charges, I’m laying the agony of the victim at the feet of former Mayor Nutter, who ended cooperation with ICE after years of being brow beaten by the enablers of those here illegally.

In one of his last (and most surprising) official acts, Nutter reversed his 2014 executive order and restored city cooperation with ICE. I don’t know why he made a U-turn. He didn’t respond to requests for comment. Maybe he suddenly came to his senses and realized turning foreign felons loose is stupid and dangerous.

Little matter. In one of his first official acts, Mayor Kenney reversed Nutter’s reversal and restored Sanctuary City status.

It’s hard to imagine elected officials so anxious to coddle convicted foreign felons they would roll the dice with the safety of citizens, but Kenney is not alone.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – A federal grand jury indicted 10 alleged Northern California gang members for conspiring to commit extortion by force and conspiring to engage in drug trafficking following an intensive five-year probe by special agents with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

According to the indictment unsealed Monday, seven of the defendants conspired to extort drug dealers while the other three defendants conspired to engage in trafficking methamphetamine.

The defendants charged with extortion are: Velarmino Escobar-Ayala, aka Meduza; Tomas Rivera, aka Profugo; Ismael Alvarenga-Rivera, aka Casper; Willfredo Edgardo-Ayala, aka Chino; Jose David Abrego-Galdamez, aka Largo; Melvin Lopez, aka Sharky; and Alexander Martinez-Flores, aka Pocar.

Specifically, the indictment alleges the defendants conspired to obtain property from drug dealers in Santa Cruz by threatening violence against the dealers and other persons close to them. Further, the indictment alleges the defendants planned to engage in the extortion by threatening force, violence, and fear to obtain money they had demanded.

The indictment alleges the three remaining defendants: Gerber Morales, aka Choco; Emilio Escobar-Albarnga, aka Diablo; and Josue Alcedis Escobar-Cerritos, aka Penguino, were engaged in a drug trafficking conspiracy. According to court documents, from March 2015 until the present, the three defendants conspired to possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine.

According to court papers filed Monday by the government, the charges stem from a multi-year investigation into the activities of a violent Santa Cruz street gang known as Santa Cruz Salvatrucha Locos 13 (SCSL13). Court documents state that “SCSL13 is a subset of the larger Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang organization.” The government alleges the defendants are all either active members or recruits performing criminal tasks on behalf of SCSL13.

The defendants were arrested Monday morning as part of a multi-agency criminal enforcement operation led by HSI that included more than 200 local and federal law enforcement personnel. The coordinated arrests and searches took place in three cities – Santa Cruz, Watsonville, and Daly City.

The defendants made their initial appearance Monday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nathanael Cousins. The extortion conspiracy count is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The charge related to the distribution of methamphetamine carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, a maximum prison term of 40 years, and a fine of up to $5 million.
