During a House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing on Wednesday morning, Representative Matt Gaetz, a Republican from Florida, engaged in a tense exchange with FBI Director Christopher Wray, expressing his concerns about the treatment of Floridians who have joined the FBI under Wray’s leadership.
Gaetz’s remarks came as part of a broader critique by Republican committee members, who accused the FBI of engaging in political bias.
