Former President Donald Trump’s emotions ran high as he shared his thoughts on Special Counsel Jack Smith’s recent actions during an exclusive on-camera interview at his golf club. Trump didn’t hold back, characterizing the latest superseding indictment with more charges against him as nothing short of “harassment.” He felt targeted by the Justice Department under the administration of Democrat President Joe Biden.

Throughout the hour-long interview, Trump revealed that he was now facing even more charges, adding to the already complex legal situation he found himself in. The inclusion of Carlos De Oliveira, Mar-a-Lago’s head of maintenance, as a third defendant alongside Trump and his valet, Walt Nauta, added another layer of tension to the unfolding legal drama.

Trump sought solace in the Presidential Records Act, believing it should offer him protection during these tumultuous times. He argued that his actions were no different from those of previous presidents and thus should not be subjected to undue scrutiny. Trump’s discontent with the Department of Justice’s actions grew as he accused them of selectively pursuing him while seemingly turning a blind eye to potential transgressions by President Biden.

The former president made it clear that he saw Biden’s handling of documents as reckless and imprudent, insinuating that there was a double standard at play. He expressed frustration that the focus seemed to be solely on his actions during his tenure while any potential missteps by the current administration were being overlooked.

As the interview concluded, Trump’s resolve to defend himself against the mounting legal challenges seemed unwavering. He remained determined to fight the charges and prove his innocence, while also taking the opportunity to criticize what he perceived as an unfair and biased approach from the Justice Department.

On Wednesday, July 26th 2023, the House Oversight Committee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs panel on Wednesday held a hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Implications on National Security, Public Safety, and Government Transparency

The hearing listened to the testimony of three witnesses, two of whom have witnessed UAP activity firsthand. Retired Navy Commander David Fravor and former Navy fighter pilot Ryan Graves described their own in-flight encounters with unexplainable anomalous phenomena. Their stories were previously reported in The New York Times.

Former Air Force intelligence officer David Grusch, who previously worked at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, also testified during the hearing.
