Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has declared that her prosecution of Donald Trump for election interference in Georgia is undeterred by controversies over her personal relationship with a former special prosecutor. Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee determined that Willis could continue her role in the upcoming trial provided Nathan Wade, the involved prosecutor and her romantic partner, resigned. The judge, however, criticized Willis for her “tremendous lapse in judgment.”
