In what can only be described as the pinnacle of entitlement masquerading as social justice, morbidly obese rapper Dank Demoss, whose real name is Dajua Blanding, has filed a lawsuit against Lyft after a driver declined to pick her up, citing concerns that she was simply too large to safely fit in his car. Yes, you read that right. The driver, exercising a modicum of common sense and presumably a healthy respect for the laws of physics, had the audacity to suggest that a 500-pound woman might not comfortably squeeze into the backseat of his Mercedes Benz sedan without causing undue strain on his tires or suspension. Naturally, this practical concern has now escalated into a full-blown discrimination lawsuit because, apparently, feelings outweigh facts these days—pun intended.
The incident, hilariously captured on video, shows Blanding confronting the driver, who explained his very valid reasons for not proceeding with the ride. “I can fit in this car,” she insisted, as though her sheer insistence could defy automotive engineering. “Believe me, you can’t,” the driver calmly responded, maintaining his composure in what must have been an exercise in saint-like patience. Despite offering to refund her ride and avoid charging her for the trip, the driver is now facing legal action because Blanding feels “discriminated against.” It’s almost as if the word “discrimination” has lost all meaning.
Blanding, who has publicly admitted to weighing over 500 pounds, cried foul on Instagram, claiming that she felt like Lyft was treating “big people like s***.” She even shared the video of her confrontation with the driver, hoping to rally her followers to her cause. Instead, she was met with a deluge of comments defending the driver’s actions. “It’s against the law to overload a car,” one commenter pointed out. Another wrote, “The driver was very polite, he explained his valid reasons, and even apologized… try seeing things from another perspective.” But why would she do that when playing the victim card is so much easier?
