ABC Cancels Roseanne, Americans Send Bold Reminder About Real Pig Working For Them

Americans are shocked and dismayed after Disney/ABC fired Roseanne Barr and canned her popular re-boot. Citing Roseanne’s tweet about Barack Obama’s socialist advisor Valerie Jarrett as the cause, outraged Americans reminded Disney and ABC that they still employ a “real pig” who has said and done far worse than Roseanne Barr ever would. Roseanne Barr did something conservatives have been waiting for: she showed the leftist Hollywood crowd the power behind patriotic Americans. When she re-booted her 1990’s mega-hit “Roseanne” and dared to have the main character a supporter of President Donald Trump, Disney/ABC gave it a go due to lackluster ratings of other shows they air.
Immediately, the new “Roseanne” topped the ratings for primetime TV. It was a real win in the culture wars for conservatives, and the show was not just one-sided. The character who plays Roseanne’s sister Jackie was a die-hard Hillary Clinton supporter.
Yet, Roseanne is a wildcard, to put it mildly. She’s got her own brand of crazy going on, and she acknowledged she made a huge mistake when she tweeted out what many people saw as a racist post.
Zero Hedge reports, “Roseanne drew sharp condemnation for a tweet on former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, whom she compared to a child of ‘The Planet of the Apes’ and the Muslim Brotherhood, and after saying that ‘George Soros is a Nazi who turned in his fellow Jews to be murdered in German concentration camps.’”
Actually, George Soros did do that, although he will deny it. Soros lived with a Nazi Party member who evicted Jews, who were then sent to concentration camps as George watched. His role is hotly debated. It was the Valerie Jarrett tweet that caused the Disney/ABC riot and led to the cancellation of “Roseanne,” even though Barr profusely apologized.
“I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste,” posted Roseanne.
Now, not only is her show canceled, Roseanne Barr has been “banned” from Hollywood. “Shortly after her show was canceled by ABC/Disney, Roseanne Barr got more bad news when her talent agency also announced it was dropping her: ‘We are all greatly distressed by the disgraceful and unacceptable tweet from Roseanne Barr this morning,’” ICM said in a statement Tuesday, according to Variety.
“What she wrote is antithetical to our core values, both as individuals and as an agency. Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her. Effective immediately, Roseanne Barr is no longer a client,” wrote her agent.
Crazy, since her show finished the season as the No. 1 scripted primetime television series in the 18-49 demo. Americans are pissed off. All of this backlash over a tweet? You’d think she murdered someone.
Twitchy reported, “But if ABC is going to cite ‘abhorrent, repugnant’ tweets as the basis for canceling a show or terminating talent’s employment, why did Keith Olbermann just get an expanded role at ESPN? Both ESPN and ABC fall under Disney’s umbrella, but Olbermann gets a plum job and Roseanne loses hers?”
tweeted about President Donald Trump: “F*ck You @realDonaldTrump. Nazi, Nazi, Nazi, RACIST, Nazi, Naz, go f*ck yourself, f*cking nazi f*ckers.”
Here’s another one by Olbermann, who is still employed and got a big raise and expanded role by ABC/Disney: “We held a presidential election on time during a Civil War and NYC elections on time after 9/11 and you want to POSTPONE AN ELECTION BECAUSE YOUR PARTY OF AMORAL ANTI-DEMOCRACY FUCKS NOMINATED A PEDOPHILE #ThisIsWhoYouAreHewitt.”
Heather Champion tweeted about Olbermann keeping his job, “This pig has a tv gig #Roseanne.” So many Americans are now utterly pissed off as the overkill toward Roseanne Barr is obviously due to her support of Trump.
Tim Young, a conservative comedian, tweeted, “The last thing ABC stands for is supporting someone who tweets awful things… Now over to Keith Olbermann with sports…” Young compiled numerous tweets by the vile pig Olbermann, proving Disney/ABC are leftist hypocrites.
Someone needs to tell the Fox Network to pick up the “Roseanne” show. It is a solid show which is killing it in the ratings. While in hindsight we wish Roseanne Barr hadn’t tweeted out that remark about Jarrett, the punishment does not fit the crime.
In fact, Roseanne is not racist. Looking through her tweets, she has never called African-Americans horrendous names. I think Disney/ABC was just looking for any reason to get rid of the controversial show, leftists hated it. Well, there is a market for the Roseanne show, I really hope a smart TV executive picks it up for next season.
