After CNN reporter Jim Acosta forgot his press credentials for entrance to the White House, the Secret Service humiliated him. Acosta got huffy when agents didn’t recognize him, and it was all caught on video.
America has a new reason to laugh at CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta after he tried to gain admittance on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, without his press credentials hung around his neck, according to Daily Wire. Lucky for us, someone was recording Acosta, and the fashion in which he was utterly rejected is priceless. I love how the Secret Service agent gives Acosta the ultimate “talk to the hand” gesture.
The Wired Sources reporter who uploaded the video to Twitter, Michael J. Morrison, wrote that Acosta was “having a meltdown at Secret Service for not recognizing him despite the fact that he’s been there for 5 years. We captured part of it on video.”
Acosta was reportedly on his way from the South Lawn into the White House and did not have his credentials around his neck. When he was stopped by the Secret Service for trying to enter the White House without displaying his credentials, Acosta had a meltdown and the video shows the tail end of the incident.
The CNN reporter apparently became unglued after he was advised by a female Secret Service agent that she did not recognize him. This is the problem with the mainstream media “superstars.” Guys like Acosta walk around like they play some integral role in our government. The truth of the matter is most of the mainstream media doesn’t really participate in journalism anymore. The majority of them spend most of their time trying to annoy President Donald Trump and his staff with combative questions. It’s no secret that Acosta has made a nuisance of himself on multiple occasions at the White House.
After Morrison posted the video of Acosta on Twitter, it immediately drew the attention of thousands of American patriots who took the time to weigh in on it. Here are just a few of our favorite responses from Twitter.
One user named Vito simply uploaded a wordless meme of Acosta. With a picture like this — who needs words?
Twitter user Lisa Jewell had an outstanding suggestion for the next time Acosta shows up to the White House without displaying proper identification. “I think they should do a cavity search next time. He looks and acts like a domestic terrorist to me,” she wrote. I could not agree more, I think Acosta is so combative on a routine basis that he definitely needs a cavity search to make sure he isn’t carrying any unauthorized contraband.
Another user who goes by the username “TheCat” smashed it with this epic analysis of Acosta’s attempt to enter the White House without his I.D. “First, tries to bypass rules and get in without pass. Second, expects everyone to know who he is. Third, expects the people who do know who he is to trust him. Tsk, tsk #FAIL.”
What a perfect summation of Acosta’s self-inflicted dilemma. Acosta wanted the Secret Service to allow him access to the White House without his credentials even though he knew that it was against the rules. How typical for someone like Acosta to expect favors from a group of people for whom he demonstrates a daily practiced hatred. In my opinion, Acosta is despicable and shouldn’t even be allowed in the White House press corps.
Another social media user nailed it with this response for Acosta: “Hey @Acosta …Not the SS fault you forgot your credentials. How about you not ask for special favors? Imagine your indignation if @POTUS threw his weight around like that?”
Ouch! That burn is going to sting for a while. It isn’t often we get to enjoy raw footage of Acosta’s failed negotiation attempts with the fed-up Secret Service agents at the White House.
Michael J. Morrison deserves many thanks for uploading video footage of the moment Jim Acosta got humiliated and sent packing by the outstanding men and women who protect President Donald Trump. I wish they were allowed to escort him from the room every time he’s obnoxious and disrespectful to our President.
