It’s basically over for comedienne Roseanne Barr.

She has always pushed the envelope and gone her own way, and in the process, she often got under people’s skin.

And though she tends to have conservative views, she can incur the wrath of patriotic Americans, like when she delivered that awful rendition of the National Anthem decades ago.

She may be used to being edgy but now she’s gone too far, and in a social climate that keenly evaluates every word out of your mouth, perhaps her fall was inevitable.

After comparing a former Barack Obama staffer to a character on “Planet of the Apes,” Roseanne’s recently rebooted sitcom is no more.

She said former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett is what would happen if the Muslim Brotherhood and the “Planet of the Apes” movie “had a baby,” and as you might expect, everyone freaked.

The actress tried to recant on Twitter:
But it was far too late by then, as ABC quickly canceled the “Roseanne” reboot; Network president Channing Dungey called her initial insulting Tweet, “abhorrent, repugnant, and inconsistent with our values.”

Is this the end for conservative-minded entertainers on TV? Well, not quite.

In fact, one very patriotic TV star is benefiting from this fiasco: Tim Allen.

His popular sitcom, “Last Man Standing,” was canceled in 2016 despite high ratings, and everyone knows it was canceled because this was something else that was “inconsistent” with ABC’s values.
However, given the huge interest in the return of “Roseanne,” ABC suddenly felt compelled to bring back Tim Allen’s show.

In fact, the network said it was “emboldened” by the ratings success of Roseanne’s reboot and of course, both programs in question have similarly conservative audiences.

And now, with “Roseanne” gone, Allen and “Last Man Standing” are primed to dominate the ratings … there’s simply no competition.

Allen had better watch his step, though; we’re certain liberals will find any excuse to get his show canceled as well.

But for now, conservatives still have a sitcom champion! Support Tim Allen and check out his program if you haven’t already.
