ALERT: One Major Supermarket Store Has Issued A Recall, If You Have This In Your Fridge Throw It Away Now!
It goes without saying that we need to be careful about what we put into our bodies. Of course, while we try to make the right choices they are times that companies make mistakes. We have seen this happen over the last several months with plenty of big name food sources needing to recall products.
Just this week, there have been plenty of recalls that many of us use often in our lives. For instance, Whole Foods Market had to recall their chicken salad because it contained tuna instead of chicken. Three Cliff Bars are having to be recalled after the possible presence of undeclared peanuts and some tree nuts in the products, the US Food and Drug Administration announced Thursday.
According to CNN:
“Clif Bar discovered this issue when it received a small number of consumer complaints alleging peanut or tree nut allergic reactions,” the announcement said. “There are no confirmed illnesses associated with this recall.”
Clif Bar & Co. is recalling Clif Builder’s Bar Chocolate Mint flavor, Clif Kid Zbar Protein Chocolate Mint and Clif Kid Zbar Protein Chocolate Chip, along with snack sizes and variety packs. The announcement has a full list of the package sizes that are affected, along with lot codes.
The bars may contain peanuts and some tree nuts, including hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, Brazil nuts, pecans, cashews, and coconuts, according to the announcement. They are sold in stores and online throughout the United States.
Now, another recall has been issued that concerns Kroger grocery stores and the water that they sell.
According to recent reports, the water has shown possible signs of mold which could cause serious health issues.

A brand of bottled water sold at Kroger grocery stores is being recalled.
Kroger was informed that Westover Dairy, in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration, had announced a Class II recall for “Comforts Purified Water with Fluoride,” according to Kroger. The product has a UPC code of 0004126037597.
“The product may show signs of mold, according to the recall report,” a Kroger spokesman said. “Upon notification, we immediately removed all potentially affected items from store shelves and initiated our customer recall notification system.”
The system informs customers who may have purchased the affected products via register receipt messages or automated phone calls.
“Customer and food safety are Kroger’s top priorities, and as such we take every recall seriously,” the statement from Kroger said.
The distribution area for this specific brand of water is South Carolina, Georgia and eastern Alabama, according to the grocery chain
I wonder how many people have already purchased this potentially contaminated water? Mold can make people very sick and if this is given to a baby or a toddler it could cause serious illness.
