A friend of mine is an australian comedian, does a fairly camp sort of show. Went to rural queensland and got beaten up on his first show. Rough rough place.

A lot of soul-crushing types down here. Sort of hard to discribe, though people are genuineally nice and overly sweet is the exteremely fucked-up/weird thing, actually, and yet I feel there is a lot of utterly messed up & dangerous, genetic material a floatin’ around down here …
