Houston police chief Art Acevedo used a May 18 Facebook post to call for followers to share their views on the Second Amendment while making clear that he has yet to receive supernatural instruction confirming gun rights come from God, Breitbart reports.
The Houston Police Chief bluntly told the public that God has yet to speak to him about Gun rights for “We The People”.
God has yet to direct to him personally, that our Bill of Rights, Constitution and Declaration Of Independence allow the people to posses firearms.
“I have never accepted the status-quo in anything I do and I’ve never accepted defeat. And I won’t do it now. I will continue to speak up and will stand up for what my heart and my God commands me to do, and I assure you he hasn’t instructed me to believe that gun-rights are bestowed by him.”
Clearly it is time for the Chief to retire, when you start babbling about having talks with the almighty and that God has yet to tell him personally to let people have firearms, it is time to step down and retire to a nice little place far away from society.
