CNN’s Jim Acosta Creates Drama For Trump, Sarah Sanders Humiliated Him… Bad

CNN’s Jim Acosta recently tried to create needless drama for President Donald Trump over the “shooting” comment made by his attorney Rudy Giuliani. However, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders humiliated him… bad.

After recently being embarrassed by the White House Secret Service for not wearing his required press credentials to gain admittance with the rest of the media horde, Acosta appears to have been out for a little revenge on anyone associated with the administration and tried to grill Sanders over recent hypothetical comments made by Giuliani about Trump shooting former FBI Director James Comey.

Giuliani’s original comments were made during an interview with Huffington Post on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Speaking about President Donald Trump, Giuliani said, “In no case can he be subpoenaed or indicted,” he said, claiming a president’s constitutional powers are that broad. “I don’t know how you can indict while he’s in office. No matter what it is.”
Giuliani then said that impeachment was Congress’ primary remedy for a president’s illegal behavior, even in the completely hypothetical case that Trump shot former FBI Director James Comey to bring about an end to the Russia investigation instead of simply firing him. “If he shot James Comey, he’d be impeached the next day,” Giuliani said. “Impeach him, and then you can do whatever you want to do to him.”

Giuliani became the target of massive amounts of criticism for his hypothetical scenario because the left loves to make a big deal out of nothing. CNN’s Jim Acosta is one of the biggest liberal hand wringers who caught on to Giuliani’s remarks and tried to bring them up during a White House press briefing with Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday.

“Sarah, Rudy Giuliani the President’s outside lawyer said to the Huffington Post, ‘In no case can he be subpoenaed or indicted. I don’t know how you can indict while he’s in office no matter what it is. If he shot James Comey, he’d be impeached the next day. Impeach him and then you can do whatever you want to him,’” Acosta repeated. “Is that appropriate language coming from the President’s outside lawyer? Talking about the President shooting Jim Comey in that fashion,” he asked.
Sarah Sanders always tries to at first treat each liberal idiot in the White House press corps with respect. “You would have to ask Rudy Giuliani about his specific comments,” she told Acosta. “Thankfully the president hasn’t done anything wrong, and so we feel comfortable in that.”

It’s ridiculous that Sanders even has to remind everyone in the room that Trump is completely innocent of any wrongdoing. The reality is that Democrats have turned our government into such a mess along with the mainstream media that our administration officials now have to state the obvious.
Jim Acosta tried again to ask a follow-up question after Sanders had moved on. “If I could ask a follow-up question,” he said.

Sarah Sanders at this point had more than enough of Acosta’s disregard for common sense and didn’t want him wasting any more time in the meeting. She shut him down fast. “Sorry, I’m going to keep going,” she said. “Not today, Jim.”

That was all it took to humiliate Acosta in front of the rest of the reporters in the room. Because he was so embarrassed, Acosta tried to shout that other reporters got follow-up questions. “No, they didn’t,” Sanders said. Acosta shouted again, and again but Sarah moved on to the next question.
In my opinion, after one outburst from a disrespectful media thug like Acosta, the immediate consequence should be dismissal. I’m shocked that Acosta continues to gain admittance to the White House press briefings with his long history of disrespect for President Donald Trump and his staff. The administration could definitely do with a new policy on how much nonsense it will tolerate from big mouth reporters like Acosta.
