  1. im only 23, and honestly i wish i had been around long enough to see him throughout his career. its hard to find the ed sullivan stuff. carlin was a master at getting people to think while he made them laugh. We need him now more than ever.
    He will be greatly missed

  2. You cant really be truly happy in ignorance my friend. It would be just plain ignorance to think that. lol.

But seriously you are an idiot.

  3. he makes you think more about life, its not depressing. He questions everything and tries to make sense of our life’s. He is truly the best comedian ever.

  4. Carlin is already missed by many people. I did grow up with him, Bill Cosby, Johnny Carson and a ton of other cutting edge comics. Today cutting edge seems to mean how many times they can get the Eff word into their acts. George Carlin made the use of that word absurd and made us laugh.

  5. I didn’t even know his name until after he died. I’ve since researched his material on YouTube. You didn’t miss anything; he just would have made you either depressed or angry.

  6. i know the feeling, i got into george carlin the same week he died it really sucked but what a legend he was and still is.

  7. or enlightened and inquisitive…If what he says depresses you…it’s because you cant handle the truth and you dilude yourself…this is what he was fighting against.
