  1. I think that there is a creative force in the universe, but I don’t think we have to abandon logic and reason just because we can’t explain it all. In fact, it is the people who feel they need to be told what to do by a moral authority so they don’t start killing and raping each other, who scare me. If you can’t imagine a world were people love and respect each other just out of common sense then you need a good therapist.

  3. i don’t believe in heaven hell and don’t know about god but sometimes i see what i am almost certain are spirits. this comforts me! i think we wonder around maybe in different form maybe the same but i think we exist still.

  10. I don’t believe Christ would have enjoyed hanging out with most Christians of today. He had a whole other other way of thinking. But, George he would have liked. After all, both were up against an establishment that included dominant religious dogmatists of their day. Each saw greed as a dominant force causing all kinds of evil. In a like time, they probably would have been friends in opposition to a common enemy they both spoke out against often.

  11. I will agree that the concept of religion is ridiculous. But the alternative is also true. A giant explosion of matter combined atoms which somehow evolved over a process of millions of years? Pick your ridiculousness.

    I wonder when time did start? Time is infinite in both directions, in theory, if it was never created. Too many questions and no way to answer them.

  17. I fully agree, any christian should read some Karl Kautsky to realize how the original sense of community christianism was created to promote only lasted about 300 hundred years. After which it progressively became the business and means of mass control it is today.
    I believe the turing point was when Constanine adopted Christianism as the official religion of the Roman empire, and catholicism was created.
