Once again, we see the left-wing media slandering President Donald Trump. They feverishly tried to paint him as an uncaring monster, claiming he took 1,500 kids from their parents. Now, the real facts are coming out, and the truth is much different.
Liberals don’t want to admit it, but the Trump administration is working very hard for the American people. The measures President Trump has enacted in his first two years are having a powerful impact on our country. We just have to look at some of the statistics to see. Unemployment is down, income is up, and companies are investing in the United States.
That’s not to mention his victories overseas. Yet the left continues to portray our president as some kind of cruel, uncaring villain. They want us to believe that the man who stepped aside from a billion-dollar business is president for his own, personal gain. Give me a break.
Still, the left comes up with bogus stories to slam President Trump. Over the last few days, liberals have swarmed social media. They claimed Trump had separated almost 1,500 immigrant kids from their families. These children were, naturally, taken by Trump’s government and are now missing.
Despite having all the facts, the left spread this rumor like the Gospel. They tried to make Trump out to be a racist monster who hates kids.
Only now are we discovering what really happened. The real story is breaking. I wonder if those liberals will spread it as much as they did the lie?
You know something’s up when a newspaper ends a headline with a question mark, like this one from The New York Times Monday night: “Did the Trump Administration Separate Immigrant Children From Parents and Lose Them?”
Um, that’s kind of what the media and pundits have been freaking out about, so could we get a simple yes or no? In short:
Did the Trump administration separate nearly 1,500 immigrant children from their parents at the border, and then lose track of them?
No. The government did realize last year that it lost track of 1,475 migrant children it had placed with sponsors in the United States, according to testimony before a Senate subcommittee last month. But those children had arrived alone at the Southwest border — without their parents. [Source: Twitchy]
This is what happened: the Department of Health and Human Services made calls last year to check in on the 7,000+ children they placed with foster families. These were children who arrived at the border with no parents. The government was able to account for about 6,000 of these children. But 1,475 were unaccounted for, because the sponsors did not respond.
Basically, these children are “missing” because the people taking care of them never called back the agency. That’s all. They weren’t abandoned or ripped from their parents. Trump did nothing to hurt these children.
In fact, according to the real story, his administration was actually helping thousands of kids. They were even following up after placing them, to make sure they were ok.
So how did this story become so distorted? The mainstream media, that’s how. They got their hands on this report and immediately twisted it. It’s shocking to think how warped the real facts got. You have to be extremely dishonest to take a simple report from the HHS and use it as a weapon to attack the President.
But that is where we are today. We cannot believe a word of what the mainstream media says. Only through pressure are they willing to admit the facts. Very often, though, its after they’ve spread blatant lies across the Internet.
American journalism in 2018 no longer exists. The mainstream media is simply a propaganda machine for the left. They only produce stories aimed at hurting the President and his many supporters, in the hopes of giving the failing Democrats a boost. It’s a sad state of affairs.
Only a few of us out there are actually reporting on the truth. Be sure to spread the real facts of this story. America deserves to know what’s really going on.
