Liberals all over the country are freaking out after President Donald Trump got some good news California Governor Jerry Brown. They are going to hate this unexpected development.

On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, California Governor Jerry Brown put his state’s open-borders crowd into shock after he sent a letter to the Trump administration pledging 400 California National Guard troops in response to President Donald Trump’s call for border security operations.

In his initial letter to the Trump administration, Brown insisted that the troops being sent by California not take part in any kind of federal immigration enforcement. “This will not be a mission to build a new wall,” Brown wrote. “It will not be a mission to round up women and children or detain people escaping violence and seeking a better life. And the California National Guard will not be enforcing federal immigration laws.”

It might seem crazy for a border state’s leaders to take such a stance, but that is the sad condition of affairs in the “Golden State.” Trump blasted Brown on Twitter for not showing the kind of leadership that he should be.

“Looks like Jerry Brown and California are not looking for safety and security along their very porous Border. He cannot come to terms for the National Guard to patrol and protect the Border. The high crime rate will only get higher. Much wanted Wall in San Diego already started!” Trump wrote.

After blasting Governor Jerry Brown on Twitter, President Donald Trump got some better news from Communist California. According to Daily Caller, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, Brown announced the mobilization of 400 National Guard troops to the border in response to orders from the Trump Administration. It has not yet been announced which jobs the troops will be allowed to perform.

The 400 National Guard troops from California will be joining 900 troops that had already been deployed to the border: 60 from New Mexico, 250 from Arizona, and 650 from Texas. In my opinion, California’s leadership could contribute much more if weren’t for their political agenda. Not completely satisfied with the outcome of Brown’s announcement, Trump took to Twitter again on Thursday, April 19, 2018, to prod the Governor of California.

“Governor Jerry Brown announced he will deploy ‘up to 400 National Guard Troops’ to do nothing. The crime rate in California is high enough, and the Federal Government will not be paying for Governor Brown’s charade. We need border security and action, not words!” Trump wrote.
Governor Jerry Brown has consistently worked against the interests of the state’s residents in an effort to draw in millions of new voters in the form of illegal immigrants. Because Democrats in California know that their pre-existing voting base is quickly disappearing, they are trying to keep the flow of illegals steady with new sanctuary state laws like SB-54.

It’s easy for politicians like Brown to pass and enforce such destructive policies when they aren’t the ones who have to live with the consequences. Because of that fact, many cities within the state have begun to pass their own ordinances excluding themselves from the sanctuary state’s laws on immigration. The Democratic Party is quickly becoming more and more unpopular and out of touch with California’s voters.

Despite receiving considerable pushback from numerous law-enforcement agencies within their own state, California’s lawmakers valued their political agenda over the well-being and safety of their communities by making it illegal for the police to help Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to apprehend illegal aliens.
In my opinion, Governor Jerry Brown shouldn’t have any say with regard to what jobs the National Guard troops can perform. That should be strictly dictated by military leadership and not meddled with by politicians.

While Brown and his administration strongly deny flip-flopping on sending troops, many in California see the “negotiation” process between state and federal officials as an embarrassment in comparison to the response that President Donald Trump received from states like Texas, which sent help without delay or demands.
