Liberals Outraged As Fed-Up Illinois Counties Set Up A Better Kind Of “Sanctuary”

The liberal-run state government of Illinois is set to impose greater restrictions on its citizens. Meanwhile, they bend over backward for criminals and illegal aliens. However, several counties are striking back with new resolutions. They are creating “sanctuaries” that make liberals quake in their boots.
The battle to protect our rights feels like a tug of war. Patriots struck a decisive victory when we elected Donald Trump to the White House. But since then, liberals have fought tooth and nail to tighten their grip, wherever they are. From cities to states, liberal lawmakers are pushing their radical agenda.
It’s amazing to see what the left’s priorities really are. Every day, we learn about a new measure by Democrats to restrict the rights and freedoms of American citizens. They continue to push for policies that limit what we can say or do. Often, they attack our fundamental religious rights.
But what are they doing for criminal aliens? Oh, they’re rolling out the red carpet! Liberal-run states spend millions (sometimes billions) on programs aimed at helping illegal aliens. They are opposing Trump’s measures to secure the border and vet out terrorists. On top of that, they are passing sanctuary laws that turn cities (and some states) into safe-zones for dangerous criminals.
This is pretty common everywhere, especially in Illinois. The land of Lincoln is overrun by corrupt liberals, thanks to the toxic politics of Chicago. It is one of the main states opposed to President Trump and his agenda. Naturally, they welcome illegal aliens while restricting Americans’ rights.
Illinois is poised to pass sweeping legislation that will restrict residents’ right to bear arms. A new law will further chip away at the Second Amendment. While the commies in crime-ridden Chicago might love this, many outside the city do not. That’s why numerous counties are banding together, passing resolutions that oppose this law.
To make the liberals even madder, they are calling their counties sanctuaries. That is, sanctuaries for gun-loving Americans.
Multiple rural Illinois counties have passed resolutions establishing a so-called “sanctuary” for gun owners in a bid to thwart the state legislature’s efforts to enact stricter gun control.
At least five counties declared themselves sanctuary counties for gun rights, co-opting a word that most conservatives associate with the liberal policy of ignoring federal immigration laws.
The resolutions aim to send a message to the Democratic-controlled Legislature in the state that if it passes the proposed gun bills, such as increasing the minimum age for owning a gun or a bump stock ban, the counties will instruct their employees to ignore the new laws…
Bryan Kibler, the Effingham County’s top prosecutor, claims the resolutions passed by counties aren’t much different from cities such as Chicago which refused to cooperate with federal immigration authorities. [Source: Fox News]
Already, Chicago Democrats are complaining. They claim that these counties can’t just refuse to enforce a law. OH REALLY? Then how is it that Chicago can refuse to enforce immigration law? Seems like liberals like to play by the rules, only when it benefits themselves, once again proving what giant hypocrites they are.
Twenty Illinois countries are contemplating their own resolutions. If passed, residents won’t be obligated to enforce the new rules created by the state legislature. It’s very similar to the many California cities who have decided to reject the state’s sanctuary law. Conservative regions within predominately liberal states are rising up, taking back their rights.
This is a pretty exciting movement. As liberals try to exert their control over states, patriots are taking a stand. In the past, conservatives stuck in liberal states had little recourse. They were forced to submit to the toxic policies passed by Democrats. But today, we are seeing a powerful movement starting at local levels. More and more liberal states are seeing mutiny in their ranks. Conservatives from local communities, cities, and counties are rebelling against the left.
It’s a sign to Democrats that they are rapidly losing ground across the country. Yet they still stick to policies that so many Americans despise. It seems like they won’t be happy until every last American rejects them. I’m fine with that.
