The identity of the “ambush interviewer” known as Crackhead Barney has sparked curiosity among many, following a viral video of her confronting actor Alec Baldwin in a New York coffee shop. Described as a performance artist and content creator, Crackhead Barney filmed herself questioning Baldwin about the fatal shooting incident on the set of Rust in 2021, as well as his stance on Israel. In the video, she directly addressed Baldwin, referencing the late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ death and expressing frustration over perceived lack of consequences. She then pressed Baldwin to vocalize support for Palestine and denounce Israel, which led to Baldwin knocking her phone out of her hand before the recording concluded.
