Mike Rowe’s Response To The Boy Scouts Fiasco Has Americans Saying, ‘Rowe For President’

The decision of the Boy Scouts to admit girls has been met with intense controversy.
Many conservative parents believe that the Boy Scouts are caving to the left’s anti-male agenda. Liberals often promote the idea that masculinity is a bad thing, which has led to a lack of strong male role models in America.
The left’s attempts to erode our morals, and our culture, is not without severe repercussions, as fatherlessness has become increasingly common.
Many experts believe this correlates to the rise in mass shootings, as many of the gunmen grew up in fatherless homes. And that’s hardly the only side effect of having no father figure.
Now an institution designed to turn boys into men is admitting girls.
Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe shared his thoughts on the issue recently when he received a question from a fan, who asked, “I’m curious as to your opinion on the tragic death of the Boy Scouts of America?!”
Rowe, an Eagle Scout himself, replied in a lengthy Facebook post, and used the opportunity to shine a light on the left’s role in the Boy Scout’s decline.
From IJR:
“After reminiscing on his own experience in the Scouts, Rowe cut to the chase by calling out the organization’s obvious goal of being politically correct — something he believes has led to their increasing irrelevance and a downtick in membership over the years:
‘In my opinion, this kind of attrition can only explained by an increasing lack of relevance, or, the perception of irrelevance.
Unfortunately, in situations like this, there’s no difference between perception and reality. And right now, there’s a perception that The Boy Scouts have gone soft.
That’s the real tragedy, Sharon, because I can’t think of anything more needed in our country today, than a youth organization that offers kids the same experience I underwent in the basement of Kenwood Church.
Why?
Because our country’s current obsession with ‘safe spaces’ is destroying character faster than the Boy Scouts of today can build it.’”
Essentially, Rowe believes that the organization won’t be able to withstand the liberal forces working against it.
Young boys and men don’t need females around when they are trying to learn about camping, survival, etc. Sir Baden-Powell would be shocked to see that the wholesome organization he started is now becoming a breeding ground for liberal indoctrination.
This constant coddling of our nation’s youth has to stop, or else we’ll never be able to undo the damage that comes with a generation that feels increasingly entitled.
Rowe understands this, and that’s why he’s trying to lead a movement that encourages hard work and a productive mentality.
Maybe a new organization can fill the void left by the Boy Scouts, one that can instill in our boys the desire to become men of honor and integrity, and a have a strong moral compass.
But if such an organization does arise, how can we make sure it’s immune to the backwards, regressive insanity of the left?
