Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, after a private discussion with Bradley lasting over an hour, determined that certain exchanges between Bradley and Wade are not shielded by attorney-client privilege. This ruling was communicated to involved attorneys via email, igniting speculations about Bradley’s forthcoming testimony, possibly as early as Tuesday afternoon.
The defense is pushing to exclude the entire DA’s office, citing an alleged “improper” romantic link between Willis and Wade, which they argue could have led to financial gains for Willis through her appointment of Wade. They contend that the pair funded joint trips with the proceeds from the case, despite Willis and Wade asserting that the costs were split relatively evenly and that their relationship started well after Wade’s appointment in November 2021.
