Ousted former Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade has recently discussed his controversial relationship with Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis in a revealing interview on “The Daily Show.” During the appearance, comedian Marlon Wayans, portraying a Borat-style character named Quon, mocked the romance, leading to a series of racy and suggestive exchanges.
Wade, who was dismissed from the Trump case after news of his relationship with Willis emerged, maintained that his professional integrity was intact, stating, “I did my job.” He emphasized the respect and dedication Willis showed during their collaboration on the high-profile racketeering case against former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants.

The scandal forced Wade to resign in February after scrutiny over their relationship. During public hearings, he testified that their affair began in March 2022 and ended in mid-2023, insisting there was no personal relationship before he was appointed to the Trump case. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ruled that Willis could stay on the case if Wade stepped down.
Wade’s interview on “The Daily Show” received significant backlash on social media, with critics accusing him of not taking the situation seriously and expressing disappointment over the spectacle made of the affair.
