An Oklahoma gunman viciously shot a mom and two girls at a restaurant on Thursday night as they celebrated a birthday. When the psychotic thug tried to escape, two good Samaritans stepped up and made him pay.

Nearly two weeks after the Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin vetoed a gun bill that would allow lawful citizens to carry a firearm without a permit, two good Samaritans who saw a crazed gunman shoot three innocent people at Louie’s On The Lake on Lake Hefner took action to stop him.

According to ABC News, the shocking incident took place at approximately 6:30 p.m. when a gunman identified as 28-year-old Alexander Tilghman shot 39-year-old Natalie Will, her daughter Niah, and another young girl. Initial reports coming from witnesses say that the shooter was wearing eye protection when he opened fire at the diner.
Captain Bo Matthews from the Oklahoma City Police Department told reporters that the shooting is not being considered a terrorist incident at this time. “We have no reason to believe this is a terrorist type of incident,” he said during an interview after the shooting. “Right now, all I know is that it was just a good Samaritan that was there and looks like he took the right measures to be able to put an end to a terrible, terrible incident,” Mathews added.

Tilghman appears to have randomly picked the three victims he shot before two good Samaritans identified by police as Juan Carlos Nazario and Bryan Wittle confronted him and shot him dead. One unidentified man fell and broke his leg as he tried to flee the restaurant, according to police.

One witness named Ron Benton told KFOR, “It sounded like, you know, any kind of restaurant noise, a rack of plates crashing … glass breaking. But it was followed by a pop pop pop sound, and a wall of people started making their way to the floor and making their way around to the backside of the bar.”
After the shooting stopped, Benton and some friends walked out to the parking lot where they saw the shooter trying to leave. “He was just a 20-something-year-old kid,” Benton said, “Didn’t look very old. He was wearing ear protection and eye protection that you would have at a shooting range.”

Benton then told the reporter that he noticed a car circle back after leaving the parking lot. “A guy jumped out of it and went for the back of his vehicle. I just assumed maybe it was an off-duty officer or something like that,” he said. “It was just the way he moved, whoever it was. He just appeared to be somebody who had some training, some weapon training.”

In reality, it was two men going after the shooter, and they meant business.
Benton said that he pointed out the shooter’s location. “They were like, Stop! stop! stop! Please! Put the gun down! Please put the gun down! And I was pointing at him, I was like, ‘Down! Put it down! Put it down!’ and they wound up exchanging fire,” Benton exclaimed as he noted that the Tilghman refused to drop his firearm.
“I popped my head up, and they had taken him down,” The fact of the matter is that there were two good guys with guns, and they are the reason this horrific incident came to an end without anyone else being harmed. According to Cpt. Matthews, Tilghman is the only one who died.

Once again, the 2nd Amendment pulls its own weight. A crazed gunman was stopped by two American patriots with guns after he viciously opened fire on a family celebrating a teen’s birthday. Perhaps the Governor of Oklahoma will rethink approving the recently vetoed gun bill after this tragic incident. In my opinion, law-abiding citizens should be able to carry based on their rights under the constitution.
