Let’s face it:
Barack Obama had many failures during his eight-year reign as President of the United States.
It’d be difficult to list them all but undoubtedly, one of his biggest failures was Obamacare.
The program that was supposed to save the country’s crippled healthcare system only made things worse, and now our new President is trying to fix it.
But it’s a thorny issue and one that likely won’t be resolved any time soon, so Americans are forced to wait for Trump’s solution to this critical problem.
In the meantime, however, they can take solace in the fact that Trump’s administration has found a way to get around the foolish and costly Obamacare.
This week, the president’s administration released new regulations that will give states more flexibility and “offer cheaper plans on Obamacare’s exchanges next year.”
The rule tells insurers how to apply for plans sold in 2019 and it contains several major changes, all designed to make these plans more affordable.
Said CMS Administrator Seema Verma:
“Too many Americans are facing skyrocketing premiums that they can’t afford, and every year consumers are faced with the threat of fewer choices.
This rule gives states new tools to stabilize their health insurance markets and empower citizens to find coverage that fits their families’ needs and budgets.”
It’s all about adding flexibility and freedom, which simply wasn’t allowed under the original Obamacare plan.
Liberals want zero flexibility; they want Big Brother to handle everything; they want big government to run their lives.
But as most red-blooded Americans know, that isn’t freedom. That’s slavery. And at the very least, this new healthcare rule gives people back just a little of that freedom.
If insurers have more options, then so will we. If they have cheaper options, then so will we.
It’s only a step in the right direction but you know, it’s a very significant step, especially if it saves American workers a good chunk of change!
