Protesters Attack Nikki Haley Until She Makes Them Run In Fear

United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley absolutely crushed protesters in an intense back and forth on Twitter after it was announced that she would be addressing students at the University of Houston on Tuesday. One person who attacked Haley wanted her invitation to be rescinded, but Haley was not having any of it.
“Haley is set to speak at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 22,” the school announced on Friday. “Haley was picked by President Donald Trump to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the UN, a position she has held since January 2017. She also serves as a member of the National Security Council and as a member of Trump’s cabinet.”
“Nikki Haley is one of the most remarkable figures in American politics today,” the school’s President Renu Khator said. “A former governor of South Carolina and the first Indian-American to hold a Cabinet-level position, she is recognized for her keen intellect and unswerving dedication to public service. As our United Nations representative during a time of significant geopolitical change, Ambassador Haley can inform our audience and educate our students with firsthand insights into the complex global issues that affect us all. We are privileged to have her visit our university.”
This did not go over well with University of Houston student Mohamad who took to Twitter to demand that Haley be uninvited. “Shame on UH for welcoming Nikki Haley to come speak on Tuesday! As U.S ambassador to the UN, she claimed that Israel ‘showed restraint’ in the Gaza massacre of 109 protesters & walked out on a Palestinian rep in a meeting. DM me if you’re down to respond to her coming,” he wrote, encouraging others to comment.
“Sadly there’s no room for dialogue with someone like Haley… she’s not someone who’s open-minded & willing to have dialogue. People HAVE been voicing their concerns to her for the last 4 years and she gives the same political answers continuing to dehumanize Palestinians…,” he responded to another Twitter user who said he should engage Ambassador Haley.
“She’s not ignorant or unaware of anything. She is extreme and refuses to hold any moral lines, as she tries to justify the killing of 109 civilians and the injury of over 10000 more over the last month, And she continues to reject investigations into any of the massacres too,” he said. “She knows 100% what she’s doing. Same concept: we wouldn’t see any room for dialogue with a white supremacist coming to campus.”
What he was not prepared for was Ambassador Haley reading what he wrote and firing back. “It’s a shame you think that. I am very open minded and thoughtful in everything I do. You may not agree with me but to think I’m one side is inaccurate. I hope to meet you at some point,” she said.
“I’m not white. I’m Indian American. Don’t ever judge or assume. Many people are looking for peace just like you,” she said. “Have you ever asked why? Don’t assume people are bad. Our world is better than that. Judging people without knowing the situation or facts is a disservice. I wish all good things for you.”
Mohamad did not have the courage to respond to Haley, but another man named Omarr did. “If you’re not one-sided as you say you are, at least have the audacity to listen to the Palestinian representatives especially during a sensitive time. Sorry I can’t offer money/benefits like AIPAC only prayers that one day you see the conflict from the eyes of the Palestinians,” he wrote.
“Did you think to ask why I walked out? Bc we allotted for two hours for the meeting as we do for all SC mtgs. This one went over. I didn’t walk out on the Palestinian. I left after all Security Council members spoke. I didn’t hear the Palestinian or the Israeli. I had other mtgs,” she responded.
“I pray for all of you to not see the worst in people but to understand the good in people. Good people aren’t just the ones that agree with you. They are the ones that fight for peace and solutions. I didn’t have to respond. I did because I thought it was worth a try,” she said.
Omarr did not respond and who can blame him or Mohamad for running away? That tongue lashing was brutal.
